ささき|カフェ・フォトスポットThis was the most expensive accommodation of our trip, so I had high expectations, but unfortunately, the shower didn't have hot water and I couldn't use the bathtub in the room 🥲🥲. I was really looking forward to the luxurious bathtub, so that was a big disappointment.
Other than that, the room was cute, and the breakfast and afternoon tea were excellent! The overall interior was luxurious with plenty of photo opportunities, so I was very satisfied with all the pictures I took! ◎
GGuest UserBefore I start. Let’s be clear, Apec Mandala Mui Ne is the main one that owns the buildings. However a bunch of “Condotels” use the Mandala name so “Mandala Breeze” is one of them.
The communication is spot on before the trip. If you use Zalo they message you there and tell you the things you need to know. Also throughout the trip, extremely responsive to any questions I had.
CHECK-IN
Messaged when arrived and a girl came with the key cards (not the typical check-in style). She showed us to the room and took pictures of our passports. Also, they needed to keep one of the passports for some reason. But got it back at the end.
FOOD:
The Mandala Bay restaurant was for sure the main one for decent food! There are “lower level” kinds of restaurants around that offer very affordable and yummy food. (Bay Restaurant would be about 1-1.5M VND per meal on average for family of 3-4. Whereas the other more affordable places cost about 500k VND totally).
AMENITIES:
Swimming pools to the max. Very nicely kept pools and a nice kids playing mini water park was great. All pools have kids pools connected so it’s very family oriented.
Didn’t get to check the gym out but looks good.
The beach is easily accessible via exiting the hotel and asking the guard to send the golf cart to take you down.
Beach is standard and nothing very special. Quite a lot of rubbish around and many crabs (which of course don’t need to worry about as they go down into their holes with any kind of movement from us.)
Beach water is a little clear and at this time of the year (May) the water is warm!
*Notable* - people were getting stung by what possibly are jelly fish. So, you just get lucky with that kind of thing.
KIDS ACTIVITIES:
They have a great kids play club. It costs extra and isn’t included in the hotel cost but it’s worth it. Unfortunately quite hot in there though!
Kids also have the water park for themselves and the water slide (although the slide might rip your swimsuit a little!)
*Notable* - Swimming Pools. If you are staying via one of the condotels then make sure the if your room includes the swimming pools, take the main key card pocket as you won’t be able to get towels to use or even use the pool as that is the part of the actual date you will check-out. The cards themselves have old dates and the lifeguards get confused and say you can’t use the pools so make sure you take the one that has the actual check-out date on it.
CHECK-OUT:
Simply message 30 minutes before the time and it will be ok. Very simple.
All in all it was a great time. A couple of miscommunication issues but that’s to be expected. No real need to go out of the complex as they have everything there.
GGuest UserCheck in was relatively fuss free although we arrived very late. The welcome drink seems to be self-service, we drank some the next day. You can ask for extra room cards. The buffet was quite good, everyday they make an effort to change up the menu although there are some staples for popular dishes. There is an egg station and a pho station. I appreciate the soya milk at the cereal station and the detox water and atiso tea at the drinks station. Yoghurt with fruits are a daily pick for myself. The salads change daily and are very fresh, I liked it. The hotel is very new, the beds very comfortable and it was interesting that they provided a bolster. The room is big and comfortable, I liked that the floor is not carpeted. They provided rubber slippers. There is free coffee and artichoke tea packets. The hot water at the shower is instantaneous and the water pressure is good. I liked that there is a rain shower. The dustbin in the toilet doesn't open up very well, but not much of an issue. Cleanliness can be improved in terms of picking up hairs, thee was a clump stuck behind the toilet door from before our stay. The cleaner also missed hairs on the chair and stains on the floor but I suspect those maybe cannot be removed. I didn't mind that much. The only negative point of the room was rhe sound of traffic, but I brought ear plugs. The staff was helpful and spoke good English, except for cleaning staff. I loved the driver servixe when we booked the one day service. It was for 1.4 mil for 8 hrs. I also used the gym, it is small but has weights, treadmill, a few multi purpose machines and cycling machines. Blinds can be drawn, the sun is quite strong in the morning. In terms of location, it is about 1 km from the lake. Normally I would say the location ia good, except that the traffic is quite scary when the pavements are not built well and there are motorbikes and buses parked on the pavements which makes it very challenging to walk to places. This is the same for a lot of places we visited. Even for a short distance we called a Grab. There was a decent pho place opposite and to the right of thr hotel and two vegetarian restaurants which we dined at. There was also a massage place nearby. We didn't use the hotel spa or dine at the restaurant although they gave us vouchers. It was more expensive in comparison.
EEverygeniaI love it. We had a chance to upgrade our room to premier (although only on the third day, but still, it was a great deal).
Good breakfast, and normally it is a buffet, but if there are too few guests, is it a la carte.
It is the best hotel around (we've checked a few nearby, and they are much worse (conditions of the rooms, beddings, etc)
Sometimes it was very difficult to communicate with some of the staff, even with a translator, and it feels like I was talking to the alien, so be patient))
MM.RomanchikA large hotel complex with swimming pools, a sauna, a hammam and its own infrastructure in the form of cafes, shops and coffee shops. Very convenient. Prices are slightly higher than in Mui Ne itself, but not critical. There is a private beach with sun loungers. The complex is located on a hill, you can go up to the reception directly on an escalator or an electric car. There is a private beach. The center of Mui Ne is about 20 km away. It is not convenient without a bike. With a bike, it is a pain to ride there) We stayed for 5 days. We really liked the room and the complex itself. Daily cleaning, a visit to the sauna was included in the price and the pools too. Beautiful view. Comfortable to sleep and you can't hear your neighbors. We had a good rest! The only thing is that when booking it was indicated that there was a mini kitchen, but in fact the stove did not work. We were unable to prepare a minimal breakfast. But for us it was not critical, we did not contact the staff about this.
JJuanjuanxiaodangjiaThe resort isn't huge, but the one-bedroom pool villa rooms are excellent, and the service is incredibly attentive. Basic five-star services like luggage assistance upon arrival/departure, turn-down service, and immediate room cleaning after guests leave are all impeccably handled. The bedding is spotless. The hotel beach is clean, and the hotel's location is also quite good.
GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at APEC Mandala Hotel. The facilities were excellent, the room was beautiful, and every aspect of the hotel exceeded my expectations. However, what truly made this stay unforgettable was my butler, Dương.
I arrived at the hotel feeling very unwell, and from the moment I checked in, Dương went above and beyond to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. He anticipated my needs before I even had to ask and genuinely cared about how I was feeling. His kindness, warmth, and attentiveness were unlike anything I’ve experienced at a hotel before.
Not only was he incredibly professional, but he was also so friendly and funny. We were constantly laughing together, and he made me feel completely at ease despite travelling alone in a country where I didn’t speak the language. He never made me feel isolated. instead, he made me feel looked after like family.
When I needed to withdraw cash, Dương personally took me to the ATM. Then, when I realised I’d need more than I’d originally withdrawn, he happily came back with me without hesitation. It was such a simple gesture, but it perfectly summed up his willingness to help with absolutely anything.
The moment that really showed how exceptional he is was when he messaged to ask if I needed anything. I had fallen asleep and didn’t reply. Rather than assuming everything was fine, he actually came to my room to check on me because he was genuinely worried about my wellbeing. That level of care is incredibly rare and meant so much, especially when I wasn’t feeling my best.
Dương didn’t just provide excellent service, he showed genuine compassion. His kindness, patience, and generosity transformed what could have been a difficult trip into one I’ll always remember for the right reasons. He is a true credit to APEC Mandala Hotel, and I sincerely hope the management recognises what an extraordinary employee they have. Thank you, Dương, for taking such wonderful care of me. You didn’t just make my stay better
you made it unforgettable.
IIvy_Liang_0704Poorest service ever.
Slow front desk check-in. Many guests were waiting for more than an hour to get to room keys.
No aircon in elevator
And I was answered that they dont provide room cleaning or make-up service 😡, even I stay more than 1 night!!!!
They just “support” to change the towel?!? What the hell is it called “support” here?
GGuest UserNo lift so if travel with big and heavy luggage, need to highlight this to them.. At night, the lights at the villa's common area were too dim especially the staircase. Should just add some sensor light. A friendly suggestion that you should place a concierge counter and staff near the entrance. Upon arrival, I have to carry my own luggage up the staircase to the lobby to check in. After that, they only brought my luggage to the buggy and left behind my backpack at the lobby. Besides, it will be more welcoming if someone greeted us upon arrival. But there's no one there. Luckily the scent of lily at the lobby makes it up. Breakfast was good. Environment was beautiful. Bed and pillows are comfy. Meeting the international chain standard. The food at Chinese restaurant next to the hotel is decent but not very authentic.
JJoJoTThis establishment is a themed hotel and a five-star property operated under an international brand, well-suited for families traveling with children.
The hotel is situated at a considerable distance from the city center. It is more conveniently accessed by domestic guests traveling by private car or via organized tour buses. International visitors are advised to approach their stay with a resort-oriented mindset, focusing primarily on on-site leisure and amenities.
Overall, our two-night stay suggested that the hotel falls short of the standards expected of a five-star establishment.
The reception staff, along with certain other employees, appeared unprofessional, as though insufficiently trained. Their demeanor and level of professionalism during the check-in process were not commensurate with those expected at a luxury hotel.
The lobby is not equipped with air conditioning and relies solely on fans, resulting in an uncomfortably warm environment, whereas the elevators are air-conditioned—creating inconsistent temperature conditions throughout the property.
The facilities in the children’s club were visibly unclean, which is a matter of concern.
The 35-square-meter room is reasonably well-appointed, and the separation of the toilet and shower is a commendable design feature. However, certain details reflect inadequate maintenance; for instance, the shower curtain exhibited signs of mold.
The adult swimming pool is of good quality and constitutes a positive aspect of the hotel. In contrast, the children’s pool is rather limited in design, lacking slides or other recreational features.
The restaurant offerings are average in terms of variety, presentation, and taste—adequate but unremarkable. This represents a notable drawback, particularly for guests intending to spend most of their time dining within the hotel.
