Service: The lady at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. We had booked a twin room, but she proactively upgraded us to a family suite! The room was spacious and decorated with unique ethnic characteristics.
Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, even including a medical oxygen concentrator! They also provide nasal cannulas. Everything you could possibly need is available.
Environment: Excellent, and the soundproofing is good! There's also a Nepalese restaurant on the top floor of the hotel that many locals frequent, and hotel guests even get a discount! The hotel's location is also superb; it's only about a ten-minute walk to Jokhang Temple (at a leisurely pace, typical for Lhasa) and very close to the bus stop. There's also a delicious cold noodle shop right next to the hotel downstairs!
I would definitely choose this hotel again if I come back to Lhasa!

I stayed in the winter on December 23, the price was only 170 yuan on the same day, but I lived out a high-quality experience of 370 yuan. I hesitated at the front desk when I checked in. When I confessed to booking, I was worried that the high reaction might be delayed. I was afraid that I would be unwell in the afternoon, so I booked two rooms at the same time at the hotel with high prices and low prices. The sister at the front desk was intimate and comforted, saying that the hotel has emergency oxygen inhalation equipment, and if necessary, you can borrow it for free, so I can rest assured that I have set a low-cost room.
Sure enough, there was a slight high reaction in the afternoon. The front desk sister immediately sent the oxygen inhalation equipment, and also intimately equipped with a disposable oxygen inhalation tube, the whole process is free! At this time, I remembered that I forgot to say that I needed a thermometer to measure my body temperature (I felt a little hot), and my sister immediately arranged for the robot to send me a thermometer; I said that I wanted to drink water, and the robot sent 4 bottles of water. My sister also said ”enough water pipes”. I drank about 10 bottles of water that day. The hotel was not stingy at all. The service was so thoughtful that it was touching.

After a 4-day tour, I still chose this hotel. The concierge contacted me in advance and arranged my room, which was upgraded again. This time, the view from the room was even more amazing! You can see the Potala Palace right in front of you when you open the window, perfect for capturing both day and night views. No need to specially go out to see the Potala Palace lit up at night; you can see it anytime from your room, which is fantastic! Compared to the hotels I stayed at for 3 nights during the 4-day tour, I really missed this one. Both the service and dining were excellent. I even heard from my tour guide that this is one of the best hotels in Lhasa. Accommodation isn't cheap during peak season, so this winter trip to Tibet, where I enjoyed many preferential policies, made choosing this hotel absolutely the right decision. Service gets full marks!
My friend and I, two girls traveling together, decided to try out this newly opened hotel. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, even recommending some great local places to eat. A bellhop helped us with our luggage, which was a huge help for us girls! Breakfast was also fantastic, with a wide variety of options, including local specialty sweet tea and butter tea. Highly recommend!
It was my first time to go to Tibet, and I was lucky to choose this hotel. The location, service and environment are really good, and it is very photogenic. The hotel's butler service, from the pick-up at the airport after getting off the plane, makes people feel happy and lucky about the trip to Tibet. Before going, it was cloudy, but this time I actually saw the golden mountain in the sun. My butler is called Cicheng, a ******* child, who speaks very good Chinese and provides very considerate service. The hotel's restaurant should be the ceiling of stone pot chicken, which is great.
The hotel was newly renovated. Manager Wangjiu was very welcoming and even upgraded our room. The room was spacious and quiet, with oxygen supply. We went to Sakya the next day because we had a good night's rest and it wasn't tiring. This was my first time staying at a Hilton hotel this year; I'd always stayed at other hotels, and it was quite good.

Purposely selecting this hotel for our first night because there's a clinic inside the hotel which feels secured upon flight arrival. Hotel was big with ******* design. Love the warm greetings from the staff and appreciate their patience and reminders of slow pace to minimise the mountain sickness.
Room was incredibly spacious. Staff was so helpful to drive and lead us to the room. Showing all the equipments operations and help delivering our heavy luggages. The room has everything you need. Definitely perfect to spend your first night here after a long daunting journey.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious. You could recharge and rehydrate yourself with everything you can think of when it comes to breakfast. Both Chinese, ******* and Western. A big thumb up and highly recommend.
First, I want to praise the guy at the cafeteria entrance (I don't know his name), but he enthusiastically introduced us to Tashilhunpo Monastery and even took us to the rooftop to see the temple. Thank you! Secondly, I have to criticize the hotel's room facilities. The air conditioning was broken. It was always 34 degrees Celsius, and I almost fainted in the middle of the night. The oxygen supply only worked until 3 a.m. I called the waiter in the middle of the night to send a fan, but it was still stuffy. Then they told me they would charge for the oxygen machine, even though it wasn't needed when I ordered it online. Even though it was delivered, I still felt uncomfortable. My room cost around 1,000, which was too expensive and not worth it! Also, the breakfast was terrible and the quality was just average! I hope it will be improved! The hotel has a strong ******* style and I love it. I hope the service and quality will improve!
Facilities: Complete facilities, humidifier is good
Hygiene: The room is clean and tidy, and the bathroom has no odor.
Environment: It is close to the commercial Shenli Plaza and is convenient for access.
Service: The service is good, and the most important thing is that the breakfast is good.
Hampton by Hilton Shannan is a new hotel that only opened at the end of 2024. The hotel's facilities are very complete, all are intelligent voice control, the mattress is very comfortable, and very clean, the room is large, the toilet in the bathroom is a smart toilet, more advanced than the one in my house, can be remote control, remote control smart toilet This is very suitable for me, Because I'm hard on the toilet on the ordinary. We went to the hotel and gave us a free upgrade of the room type, and also sent welcome fruit. The hotel minibar's Coke Qixi, soda water mineral water is free to drink, breakfast variety is many, taste is also very good, this price is very worth it. And one thing worthy of praise is that the lobby manager also helped me book 5 rooms at Hilton Huiting Hotel Lhasa. The price is 80 yuan cheaper than the above. This service can be praised. I will stay here next time I travel to Shannan.

GGuest User[A smart hotel that must be stayed at Lhasa Airport | Lan Ou International Hotel’s second experience, Ctrip’s recommendation is indeed well-deserved! ]
The second time I stayed at Lan Ou Hotel next to Lhasa Airport, I was still amazed by its sense of technology! Booking from Ctrip not only reduced the price directly, but also superimposed the full discount coupon, the cost performance is directly maximized! It is worthy of being a treasure hotel highly recommended by the platform. From entering the door, the room is fully intelligent voice-controlled, and even the curtains can be voice-controlled. The fatigue of the plateau journey is instantly cured by the sense of technology~
✨Highlight experience:
✅Whole house smart system: Xiao Ai Butler is on call 24 hours a day, the lights/air conditioner/TV can be adjusted by moving your mouth, and the humidifier can be voice-controlled in dry weather on the plateau, which is ecstatic for detail control!
✅******* aesthetic design: The thangka murals in the corridor are perfectly integrated with smart devices, and the oxygen supply device in the room is so considerate that you can relieve altitude sickness by lying down.
✅Airport pick-up and drop-off assist: Free airport pick-up and drop-off are on time and efficient, and the butler will also help carry luggage to the boarding gate!
✅Ctrip exclusive benefits: The second visit also upgraded to a deluxe king-size bed room. Super awesome!
Recommended to all travelers flying to Lhasa, close your eyes and don't step on thunder! Next time I come to Lhasa, I will make this place my base~💫

HhohotimVery satisfied with everything, the best is the customer service, always answer all questions.
Buy an oxygen tube for RMB 10/piece, and you can arrange an oxygen machine at the lobby bar to provide free oxygen.
There were sanitary defects, cigarette butts were found, we don't smoke as a family, but it was acceptable, the sprinkler pipe leaked, and the water pressure increased after cleaning.
Everything was cured by the warm customer service.
GGuest UserTangka Hotel is directly across from the Jokhang Temple entrance, and there's a shopping mall downstairs! It has everything you need for dining, sightseeing, and shopping. We originally planned to try various hotels, but once we got here, we didn't want to leave. First, let's talk about breakfast. It was delicious. ******* food isn't always particularly suited to Han Chinese tastes, but this hotel's offerings were perfectly suited to our tastes, with some ******* touches. After a leisurely breakfast, we walked downstairs and arrived at the Jokhang Temple security checkpoint. From there, we could explore the surrounding Barkhor Street area! Now, let's talk about shopping. Downstairs, there's a shopping mall where you can buy everything you need, including local specialties. This street is the busiest of all. And how much further is a little further? There's Lhasa, a city that never sleeps. In Lhasa, you can enjoy a snack or a small bar in the evening. Let's talk about the main attractions. In fact, it doesn't take long to walk forward and you can see the night view of the Potala Palace, so it is very comfortable here, which is why we always choose here. There will be pick-up and drop-off services when you come and leave. The stay is also very comfortable and the environment is good. I will book again next time.
GGuest UserThe hotel isn't to far from the Portola Palace (a short taxi trip). I wouldn't say its a true 4 star hotel.
The room was a good size, quiet and didn't smell of cigarette smoke. The room was a little worn out; I couldn't get the TV to work, the mirror on the wet bar area was cracked, there were marks to the walls where paintings/pictures had once been. Most annoying was the shower cubicle and the shower over the bath had only cold water! On my last morning the power was off in my area of the hotel and the lift was not working due to the power outage.
The hotel staff do not speak English, but one lady working on reception was especially nice and helpful and we were able to communicate by using the translation app.
There are lots of restaurants near by, but next time I think I'd prefer to stay closer to the Portola Palace.
AAnonymous UserLooking at the decor, you can tell it must have been beautiful when it was first built, with distinct ******* characteristics. It basically has all the facilities and services a five-star hotel should offer. However, the problem is that after so many years, the facilities are just too old. The cabinet doors don't close properly, the seating cushions are heavily worn, the old-fashioned toilet is very difficult to use, and the glass is foggy – I'm not sure if it's dirty or just aged. I chose a room with a Potala Palace view, but the cloudy glass really spoiled the experience. There were even leftover toenails from previous guests on the carpet, which was quite disgusting. I also have to mention the mini-bar. There were only 6 cans of Coke and Sprite, with no price tags. I assumed they were complimentary, but when I asked, they were 18 yuan each. Seriously, I've stayed in many five-star hotels. If a mini-bar is going to charge, please at least stock it with sparkling water, orange juice, and beer (if not wine or sparkling wine) to look more professional. If you only have these few bottles, either be generous and offer them for free, or just remove them. The current approach feels a bit cheap. Overall, this hotel definitely needs a renovation.
GGuest UserThe experience is quite nice in general, they provide room assistant and free laundry services up to five pieces of clothes each day. The environment is relaxing and clean. The staff are professional, nice, kind and helpful. I would love to stay there again, and also wanna give a credit to my room assistant 小雪 with her prompt replies and kind assists.
YYogurt_w### High-Quality 18-Hour Central Diffused Oxygen Supply
The hotel offers medical-grade, 18-hour central diffused oxygen. They also provide very practical plateau-specific oxygen concentrators.
### City Shuttle
The hotel provides an excellent dedicated shuttle service to major attractions like the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Tibet Museum.
### Ambiance
The hotel's ******* style gives it a unique local flair. Its manor-like grounds are very picturesque, perfect for taking photos.
### Service
The staff are incredibly warm, attentive, and proactive, always greeting guests. They even have dedicated personnel to assist with luggage upon arrival, which is a great help, especially when adjusting to the altitude. The service is truly outstanding.
GGuest UserWe absolutely fell in love with this hotel - both the room and the overall environment. It is a beautiful hotel and we took loads of photos. Strongly recommending this hotel, especially if you are looking for a comfortable stay and easy travel to tourist destinations. We also recommend the Indian food downstairs as it was delicious. Thank you for the hospitality!
