It’s new beautiful hotel. Room are so comfortable and nice and clean. Very nice view from the hotel. Staff are friendly It’s around 8-10 mins drive from Petra visiting center. Only good if you drive. Breakfast is good a few selections Restaurant is over priced comparing with 5 stars Movenpick which cost only 20-30% price difference but huge difference quality. The small veggie soup cost 4 JD. Totally over priced. The fish was over grilled. Free shuttle within certain hours. You have to pay after you check out if using the shuttle and leave your luggage Service was dramatically decreased after you check out. Kind of disappointed.

It's true that you have to go up to the 4th floor by the iron stairs. Am I right on these stairs?? Do you really have to go up on this?? If you feel it, the stairs are right. The staff are really friendly. I want to go again because of this. They lent me a towel as well, and I was really impressed. If you have dinner, I recommend paying for it here. It's the most honest here. Don't go out and buy it at the supermarket. We sell everything at the accommodation, so I recommend buying water or something like that at the accommodation.

Good location (nearby visitors center but on the hill, you need clime The service is not very good: It was the first time when I didn't got information at the reception about breakfast time, spa service, swimm pool, etc. The bath -hot spring was semi-fulled afternoon. The bathrobe was so small The breakfast was ok. Opportunity for the late check out

The hotel is a bit far from Petra, but you can drive to Petra entrance for free and contact you after sightseeing. The dinner buffet is 10jd and is provided to hotel guests, but it's okay.

The store Rami was very enthusiastic, the three brothers helped me a lot, Rami asked the guests when to have breakfast every day, and will provide a rich Jordanian breakfast, Muhammad is responsible for contacting the guests in advance at Whatsapp, and actively arranges the itinerary of the Wadirum desert. Rami also sent me a large bottle of water when I left to help me with the next day's supply. It is recommended to discuss the check-in time with the three brothers in advance after arriving, which is more convenient for each other.

This place is sort of a boutique hotel opened by locals and not one of the big chain hotels and it’s location (point 1) is slightly further away from the city centre and it’s located on the hillside and there is no way you can walk there, you definitely need a car to reach this place from Petra Visitor Center ( hence please take a cab ) but it was fine for us as we drove. The price we paid was somewhat expensive ( due to its peak season) but all the hotels nearby were on the high side. Rooms are exceptionally clean and it even smell of freshly laundered sheets, good ventilation and breakfast was decent. We had dinner here as well 20JOD for the buffet dinner per person and it was great on the weekend nights but on a weekday nights the menu offering is much limited. Staff are generally friendly but I was turn off by a cook named Ala’a who was attending the egg station during breakfast on 29 October - not only was he slow ( compared to the cook of the previous day - leading to long wait at the station despite less than 30 people in the breakfast place), he was also rude to guests who didn’t really speak English and even told them when they didn’t clearly place their orders- I was observing and it was really bad taste as he scowl at them and this is only coming from a cook at the eggs station - you need mind your customer service ettiquete especially to foreign guests who makes up most of your revenue. The least you can do is smile and not make your guests feel like feel bad about their language when they are ordering their eggs.

Service is amazing, they provide pick up and drop off at Petra which is 5 mins by car. Staff are super nice. Hotel style is very Middle Eastern and that’s what you wanna experience in Petra. Breakfast is good and quite a large range of options. Rooms are very comfortable although the shower is quite small. The bed is amazingly comfortable I would say that is probably the best mattress I have slept on! Recommend !

For those driving to Petra, this hotel is arguably the best place to stay. It's conveniently located right across the street from the Petra Visitor Center. In the afternoon, we walked over to explore the Petra Museum. The next morning, we made sure to be among the first group to enter the ancient city right when it opened at 7 AM. This allowed us to avoid the intense sun and enjoy the Siq with very few people, making for an incredibly peaceful experience. The room wasn't large, but it was perfectly sufficient. We received a complimentary box of about five pastries upon check-in, which were quite tasty. We had an early breakfast just after 6 AM, and as mentioned, were among the first to enter Petra at 7 AM. We moved through the site quite efficiently and were back at the hotel by around 11 AM, allowing us a little rest before checking out at 12 PM and heading to our next destination. Also, there are plenty of restaurants near the hotel; a quick search on Google Maps will show many options, and the food quality is generally good.

1. Best location for Petra tour & cheap price for location The price of food and accommodation in/around Petra is much more expensive than other places in Jordan. So I considered accommodations located very high up for cheap accommodation, but I was really glad that I ended up choosing Edom Hotel. Even though I walk a lot all day, I get quite tired after visiting Petra. However, I have to walk uphill again to get to the accommodation, and the restaurants and cafes are located below, so it seems difficult to get to and from. Compared to other hotels attached to Edom Hotel, the location is really close, and the star rating is high, but the price is not expensive. I stayed for one day and tried to make a reservation for the next day, but the reservation site said it was full, but the front desk said there was a vacant room, so I could stay for another day. It was much cheaper because I paid directly at the front desk. 2. Good facilities for laundry/slightly old bathroom There is a terrace. It was nice to bring a clothesline and dry my laundry on the terrace. The shower filter that I brought was replaceable, and there was a bathtub so I could step on it and do laundry. However, one of the screws on the hotel toilet lid broke, so I often hit my back on the toilet lid while using the toilet..ㅋㅋ Considering that the facilities of all the hotels within walking distance of Petra are very outdated, this was a decent price for the level. 3. Spacious restaurant & various breakfast menus The restaurant is very large and spacious, so there are many seats. I was able to enjoy breakfast without it being too crowded. When I entered the breakfast room, all the staff I met greeted me brightly, which was very warm. 4. Front desk currency exchange You can exchange money in person at the hotel front desk, and if you don't have change, they will try to help you somehow.
