We stayed for 3 nights and the place was very clean. They cleaned our room everyday, which was nice. The location is great, just a short walk to Faiza Restaurant and Globus Supermarket. The staff were friendly, always smiling, and very accommodating. They even let us rest in the lobby and stored our luggage when we arrived early before check-in time. Amenities are a bit limited though there’s a small café but no gym or sauna. Breakfast is basic and almost the same every day, but it’s fine for a quick start to the day. Overall, it’s a nice and comfortable hotel. Good location, clean rooms, and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.

A very good luxury hotel in Kyrgyzstan, with a high cost-effectiveness. My friend and I booked a suite and a king-size bed room. The most important thing is that it doesn't matter if you don't know the language, the check-in is smooth. This room faces the sun, and the foot of the snow-capped mountains is at the bottom of the curtains, which is absolutely beautiful. Apart from the scenery, the bedding is very standard, and the overall stay experience is very good. Breakfast is 7.00-10.00, and I had a big plate of chicken for breakfast, which was touching 😹 The hotel facilities are also good. The cafe on the first floor is very suitable for afternoon tea and the Korean restaurant on the top floor is more suitable for dating. The facilities are very comfortable and the tone is very suitable.

Hey everyone! The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside and it's hard to get in; there's a doorbell but it doesn't work. However, everything inside turned out to be very decent. The only issue is that you can hear everything through the doors.

The hotel met all our expectations and we liked it. The location is good. The glass wall and the door to the bathroom were confusing. The column in the middle of the room also raised some questions. At our request, we were given an ironing board with an iron without additional charges. Breakfast is a buffet. I have attached a photo below. You can choose what you like. Plus, they can make an omelet and make tea/coffee. The staff at the restaurant told us about this. The restaurant itself is located on the top floor and has a good view of the city and mountains.

I specifically chose a hotel that had just been renovated and opened in July 2025. It truly lived up to my expectations, exceeding them by far. The room was spotlessly clean and tidy, everything brand new. The staff were all Chinese, and they served Chinese breakfast. They even had Hunan stir-fried dishes on the basement floor. It felt just like a business trip in China. I felt incredibly happy. The front desk staff even took the initiative to carry my luggage to the car. A five-star rating is a must. Recommended

A very satisfying stay! The Kyrgyz Star Hotel left a deep impression. Manager Pei at the front desk was exceptionally welcoming and fluent in Russian. She recommended many local delicacies, all of which were delicious. The hotel had a wonderful atmosphere and a stylish design, making me feel right at home. Most importantly, the price was very reasonable. For this price, the facilities and service are unmatched by other hotels. Excellent value for money; I'll definitely stay here again next time!

The room is big, the breakfast is OK, it's quiet at night, the mattress is soft, but the hot water is not stable, the hot water comes out cold, there is no elevator, it's not very convenient for big suitcases, the location is OK, there are not many restaurants around, but it's not far from the city center

I enjoyed the peacefulness of this palace like hotel with its lovely rooftop for sunset viewing. The room was comfortable, reasonably priced, and clean. I appreciated the relaxation of the onsite private spa that was a lovely surprise to my stay. The staff were helpful in providing guidance for city landmarks and attendng to any requests I had. Highly recommend it!

Decided to book the same hotel for our return leg after trekking in Karakol. First stay at Novotel was excellent (see my other review) but the second stay was horrible. Check in time was 3pm so we went out for lunch and got back at 3.20pm only to be told that one of the two rooms was not available. Reception staff, Zania, was rude and unapologetic and didn't even bothered to provide an estimated time. Another receptionist told us it would be about 30 mins and they would send the keys to the room. We went into the room and at 4.15pm we called the reception desk and they told us they will deliver the key in 5 mins. 10 mins have passed before the key was delivered. 5-star hotel with poor time management and bad service - no follow up on room key. Other areas were good though EXCEPT front desk staff. Staff at massage/pool were polite, so were the restaurant staff. Please educate your front desk staff especially Ms Zania, as they are the first line of service.

Location is good, it's close to the center of the city. Hotel is clean and fresh. All works smoothly. Single minor problem was solved in minutes. The only downside is breakfast: the assortment is moderate and dining room is pretty small, you may not find free place.
