Hotels With Breakfast in Canterbury, New Zealand

Fantastic location and hotel to stay in before our early morning flight.  Breakfast was brilliant and all staff were lovely and helpful.

A special thanks to Daniel for surprising us with an upgrade to a higher floor with a balcony view when he found out we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary—it was such a thoughtful gesture! The location is fantastic, with restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets just a short walk away. Plus, the tram stop right across the street made getting around super convenient. I was thoroughly impressed with the level of service throughout our stay.

The location is very near to city centre but room is a little small. The room is comfy and have a common area to cook and chill and relax. Overall is good.

The boss is very nice and enthusiastic. He helped us with our luggage and solved all kinds of problems we encountered. The location is also very good. There are supermarkets and gas stations nearby. There is a bus stop at the door. It is also close to the university and the city center, and the transportation is convenient. The room is no different from the picture. It is very clean and has all the facilities. It is very convenient to cook and clean in time. And on the first day of Christmas, because we were worried that we had no place to buy water, we were given local drinks and milk. Highly recommended!

loved staying here even for just 1 night. very near to sights in the city, staff was pleasant and room ammenities were great we asked for slippers and toothbrushes which are available all you need do is call and they bring it right up. parking is also available just beside the hotel but with a FEE per day😞 other than that we had a lovely stay🙂

The room is quite big, but the facilities are average. There is a construction site outside the window, and there is no view at all. The toiletries are also amazing, made in Shantou, China. Overall, it is really not worth the price

Kaikora hotel was absolutely astonishing from the meals down at the hotel - which I definitely recommend, to the lovely Alexa in the room to give you just the information you need. Sudima hotel had an amazing heated pool with a breathtaking view of the mountains and beach beside. You can save some money if you book directly through the hotel website after subscribing as a Sudima member.

This accommodation is located near to Lake Tekapo and Four Square grocery store. 5-7 min drive to Tekapo hot springs (star gazing). Good amenities provided - kitchenette, dish washer, coffee maker, utensils, washing machine and wifi connection. No mirror cast available at TV - it’s connected to Sky cable TV programmes. Unfortunately, we did not find the bed comfortable - bedroom is too small for both of us. Limited car park lots.

Enjoyed our stay here, great location as everything was in walking distance. Nice comfy bed and breakfast had a good selection. The room was a little dark with only lamps available. Would happily return in the future.

This was by far the best hotel I stayed at in New Zealand. Compared to other Hilton properties, the bed here was noticeably larger and more comfortable. I stayed in a twin room, and each bed was around 1.2 to 1.5 meters wide, whereas other hotels only offered very narrow single beds (about 0.9 meters). There was also plenty of space between the beds, which made the room feel much more comfortable. The room was very clean, well-equipped, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The location was also decent, making it a very convenient and pleasant place to stay overall. I would highly recommend this hotel — especially if you’re looking for a comfortable and restful experience.
