The hotel is perfect for persons who have layovers in Panama and just want a quiet night’s rest. It is located about 8mins by car away from the airport and they offer an on the hour shuttle service for convenient travel to and from the airport.
The property is very beautiful- they have a green area, a pool, outdoor bar and grill and lounge areas. The staff is also very polite and helpful.
Perfect stay and I’d definitely go again. My only issue was that that wifi signal is very weak in the room. It is much stronger in the reception area which is a bit of a distance away from the rooms and it leaves you at a disadvantage if you wish for privacy to get in contact with friends and loved ones during your layover.

We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, but several facilities, like the rooftop terrace, were closed. I think some parts of the hotel need renovation.
The staff was very friendly. However, the towels were worn, and the bed was poorly made—it only had a bottom sheet, not a blanket. The mattress was a bit hard, below the standard of a 5-star hotel. I'm leaving this review so they can restore the hotel to the high standard it deserves.

I didn't like this room. I preferred the room I had in a previous trip.
The buffet was ok, but we had a problem with one payment by credit card. The buffet and drink showed as paid on my friend's application, but the hotel said the payment was declined. They will get in touch with my friend since the issue is not closed.

I was very comfortable at hotel tower house suites, large room, comfortable main bed, friendly staff. Excellent location. Very good if compared to the price. If I had to complain about something, the quality of the washing products and the air conditioning that was pointing right on the bed.

The hotel is in a good location and the rooms are relatively clean. However, because it is very old, the facilities are relatively old, the breakfast is relatively small, and there is only one fast food restaurant for dinner. The price is reasonable, and the swimming pool is not very clean.

This is a very overvalued hotel, in reality the amenities are quite a low standard, rooms need minor renovations, and the housekeeping and maintenance services need proper improvement!
Maintenance issues: the sink had overspread issue, drainage issue, toilet had overfilling issue with a noise, shower vents didn’t close fully, unless you master the “secret”; floor in the bathroom was steep towards the bedroom area, instead of being steep towards the drainage hole, the entrance door wouldn’t close without noise because of touching the floor..
Housekeeping: they attended the room only after i asked and reminded. Even then they once didn’t clean the floor, twice didn’t provide refills of the amenities (water, tissues, etc.). Only after my kind complaint to the reception, they finally fixed the issues.
The reception and restaurant staff are very nice, kind, and attentive! Thanks and well done!

The hotel was very convenient for me and my small family. The room was clean and the staff was very helpful despite the language barrier. The breakfast was good and love the different options available. Will definitely be visiting again on my next trip to Panama.

The hotel is close to a main street with shops, restaurants, a supermarket and a subway station, hence very convenient. The room is spacious There is a gym too.
The only thing i want to comment is it only offers 2 free bottles of water to guests the first day. After the first day, no more free water.

GGuest UserAbsolutely fantastic stay! I truly enjoyed Riu from the time I checked in till the time I checked out. I appreciate the staff and the quick convenience of check in process. Not only was the rooms absolutely spotless and clean but their were plenty of elevators to get to the rooms. I really enjoyed the pressed juice from the breakfast the most (absolutely fresh and excellent). The breakfast buffet was a nice feature to have at our time there, along with looking out to the pool(do wish the pool was a tad bit bigger). IT IS A MUST YOU TRY THE RESTAURANT TASTE AND THE BARTENDER DRINKS. Absolutely probably one of the best in the city! The meal at taste was exceptional and the prices are perfect (please don't change because I plan on coming back). From start to finish Riu made my birthday experience worthwhile in Panama. I honestly wouldn't have changed it for the world! Thank you for the housekeeping for always keeping our room clean and us being so trustworthy of leaving suitcase and clothes items out and it wasn't even moved an inch. The beds were some of the most comfiest sheets we slept on in a while and the bathroom was so big and spacious with DOUBLE sinks! We appreciate the friendliness and excitement in activities and guest that we saw everyday. If you are not staying at Riu then what are you doing?

LLois CowartThis hotel is an oasis in the heart of downtown! Clean and spacious public areas! It has an inside bar with a pool table, restaurant, beer pub and outdoor beer garden. The outside areas were filled with beautiful green tropical plants and flowers and the pool was clean. Love the decor all over and even in the elevator!! Our king size bed was comfy with plenty of pillows and the bathroom was clean, stocked well and had plenty of hot water. The only slightly negative thing I can say is that the carpet could be replaced but it was clean. The service was very good from the front desk to the beer garden to the restaurant. I would recommend this hotel to couples and large groups! Oh, they have a workout room also!

Had a massage at the spa. Extremely disorganized and inexperienced massuese. With 30 minutes notice of my arrival there were no towels or robes ready. She kept bringing things one at a time even while i waz naked getting into the shower- bath mat, then robe, then robe belt, then towel, then slippers. I told her i just want back massage and done strong but i had to keep telling her where to rub and to be stronger.
Other than that the facility was nice
I used on line booking to book one day, then two more days then three more days. I always book for two but om the last three days something went wrong and somehow got booked only 1 person. Desk attendant told me $55 a day to change to two person. I think the app which i didn’t use the first two times defaulted to kne person and i didn’t have a chance to select two person
It waa extremely difficult to get a drink at the bar.
I did manage to get a drink at the bar then moved to a table. When i got the bill for items at the tae, the drink i had already paid for was on the bill. The waitress corrected it, thankfui had the bar receipt in my pocket

GGuest UserGood location, the hotel is not big, but the management is a bit chaotic, and I couldn't check in at 3 pm. The breakfast is very rich, and the breakfast of Panama five-star hotel is good. The room is spacious, facing the sea, and the view is good. The price is reasonable, and there are many big hotels and restaurants around.

GGuest UserThe hotel location is very good , very close to the main places in the city , so is easy to move around . The hotel room is ok , is big and spacious and the furniture is new . The hotel decoration is alright just like a normal holiday inn hotel , looks more for a business trip . It has a nice swimming pool on the top of the building too . The only problem I saw is that because of eco friendly tiles there are no water bottles at the room , there is free water tanks and the lobby so to drink you need to drink at the lobby , or take water from outside the hotel , but there are no shops close to the hotel , so you need to pay a higher price for the hotel vending machine or just drink water at lobby , I was thirsty the whole stay haha .
But I recommend it for business people
