It's a very large youth hostel. After checking in, I stayed in the building opposite. Then I could use the swimming pool and kitchen of the youth hostel next door. It seems that they have the same owner. The bathroom is the largest among the dozens of youth hostels I have stayed in so far. It's a very comfortable environment.
Thanks to Trip.com staff for coordinating the check-in time and adjusting the quiet room in time. The front desk staff of the hotel has a young lady's professionalism and is better to find the staff to connect to Wi-Fi in time.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the The Radisson San Jose hotel. Breakfast was delicious. The dinners that I had at the hotel were memorable. The front desk and dining staff were exceptional. I highly recommend the Radisson San Jose hotel.
Place is about half an hour taxi ride from the airport. We originally booked it since the listing here said check in was 1400, but were later emailed that check-in was actually 1500 and when we arrived at 1500, the host said they aren't finished cleaning it and we had to wait in the lobby. The room was nice, although we didn't find the bathroom to be entirely clean. Included breakfast only consisted of coffee, fruit bowl and toast with jams.
Samsung price, five-star feeling! More than expected!
First of all, the location is excellent in the downtown area. Go out and turn right for 2 minutes on the main street, diagonally opposite the Costa Rican National Museum.
Turn right on the main street and walk for about 5 minutes. It is a variety of restaurants and tea supermarkets in Chinatown. It is great! Yanyan Chinatown and then walk a street ahead is the National Grand Theatre and Commercial Street, Central Park and the main church.
Secondly, the room is clean, comfortable, spacious and bright, great!
The breakfast variety provided is simple but the dining environment and food are satisfactory enough! All the staff are warm, friendly and thoughtful, making people feel like spring breeze, five-star praise!
The hotel is elegantly decorated and tasteful, pleasing to the eye, there are pictures and the truth
The lobby is the feeling of a general business travel. It is much more spacious on the second floor. I think the room is very clean, but because the external window is facing the corridor, there is no way to keep it open, so my bathroom is open to have an exhaust fan, but it is still very good. It is also very close to the bus stop.
I don’t know if this area is a dangerous area at night, but there are small restaurants here for a minute or two, which are also delicious.
I stayed at Delta Hotel by Marriott during my trip to Costa Rica, and it was such a great experience! The hotel is beautiful, modern, and super comfortable. From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed.
My room was cozy, and had a really comfortable bed — I slept well. The amenities were excellent too — loved the pool area, gym, and especially the breakfast buffet with plenty of delicious local and international options.
The location was also very convenient, close to shops, restaurants, and just a short drive from the airport. It made exploring the area really easy.
The breakfast is plentiful and changes every day, especially the South American specialties. There are many kinds of fruits, and the sweet taste of milk is my favorite. The rooms are generally clean, with few TV channels, and they are basically in Spanish.
If you're looking to explore San Jose, or have a basecamp for exploring the rest of Costa Rica, this hotel offers a great central location, situated right in the middle of San José. Good for walking to restaurants or shops in the city, or joining one of the several sight-seeing excursions which can be easily arranged by the hotel.
The rooms are nice, though the decor is a bit dated. The common areas are also well designed for lounging while reading a book or getting to know your fellow travelers staying on the same floor.
The breakfast buffet was fairly common for a hotel offering breakfast in Costa Rica, but good, and the area also doubles as a bar at night. Other amenities include a gym with free weights and a couple machines, along with two saunas, one dry and one steam.
The hostel is very nice and stylishly furnished and is very well located near the city center, so that all the big museums and the theater as well as many bars, cafes and restaurants are within walking distance. It is a hostel, so you can't expect absolute peace and quiet, but I didn't find it disturbing. Street noise is negligible. The staff is very friendly and helpful, everything is clean. By car from the airport, the journey takes about 40 minutes outside of rush hour.

GGuest UserExcellent hotel, clean. A delicious breakfast and polite staff. When you left the hotel, we were asked to print the documents and call us a taxi to the airport - we all helped. We are very happy ♥️♥️♥️
GGuest UserMy wife and I stayed here a few nights both at the beginning and end of our three-week trip to Costa Rica. The location is attractive as it is very easy to get to the city center, and very near the newly completed ring road which goes all around the city. This is a big plus, since the traffic in San Jose (and Costa Rica in general) can be truly horrendous. We would have liked to have laundry services, which are only available by appointment at certain times and days. Breakfast was simple but good. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful.

BBentheIt's a nice place to rest next to the big city. You must take ubers if you want to do an activity but if you don't want to do anything for a while, they have enough nice common space to use. The breakfast is nice and you have a choice of 6 things, as well as the staff is very helpful.
GGuest UserThe location is good, breakfast is average, the surrounding transportation is convenient, it is far from the airport, the lobby is large, it is close to the entertainment city, there are convenient restaurants nearby, there is a large supermarket, shopping is very convenient.
