## Amenities:
The mattress was comfortable, two types of pillows were provided, a smart toilet, a TV with screen-mirroring capabilities, and the internet speed was very fast! The slippers were the thickest and most comfortable I've ever encountered in any hotel.
## Cleanliness:
The shower drain wasn't clean and was a bit clogged; I had to deal with it myself while showering.
## Ambiance:
I had requested a high floor, but was only given the 7th floor, so my view was ultimately blocked by the tall building directly in front. Additionally, the room was right by the elevator entrance. Luckily, there were no noisy tour groups blocking the elevators that day, so it was relatively quiet.
## Service:
Almost non-existent. During check-in, there were two front desk staff. The male staff member was warmly smiling and assisting another group, while the female staff member gave me a cold reception. When I asked about the floor, she simply said my room type wasn't available on the 9th floor. Normally, one would expect something like, ”This room type isn't available on the 9th floor, would you like to consider an upgrade to a different room type on the 9th floor?” She offered no smile and was very curt. After she simply stated my room type wasn't available, I didn't feel like pursuing the conversation further. *Sigh*.
▶ There are self-service drinks in the lobby on the first floor, but the staff didn't inform me. I only found out about them after seeing it online.
▶ Upon check-out, there's supposed to be a farewell gift, but the staff didn't mention it. Long after I had left, I received a message on the Ctrip app saying there was one, meaning I would have had to inquire at the front desk myself. *Ahem*.
▶ I didn't book the hotel's buffet breakfast, but the restaurant allows you to order items à la carte. My companion and I spent 20 yuan and were completely full. (The fried rice was delicious!)
● Overall, in terms of value for money, it's really good! It just falls short on the details. (I wonder if this has anything to do with booking a discounted room? 🤔)

Not my first time staying in this hotel. We'll, would like to say that this time it was above all of my expectations. The room was super clean and the music in a bathroom was nice as usual, but the most unbelievably incredible things was that I got an upgrade from the guys in the reception. Didn't expect that, but super thankful for that.
Wish you all the best!
Thank you very much 😊

The hotel's decor is quite stylish. Even though it was a windowless room, it was still very comfortable to stay in, and it came with a humidifier, which is a definite plus. When checking in, the front desk was very honest and told me that the soundproofing wasn't great. Indeed, the floorboards seem quite thin, and I could hear sounds from the adjacent room. If you're a light sleeper, you should be aware of this, though earplugs were provided in the room. The cleanliness was good, everything was neatly tidied. The front desk service was very enthusiastic; they even gave me a small gift when I checked out, which was a nice touch. The biggest advantage is the location; it's right in the city center. It's only a 10-minute walk to the church, and there's a bus stop for a shopping street right outside, making it convenient to get to other places.

The facilities are modern, clean, and meet general expectations. Although the room isn't huge, it's fully equipped and I'm very satisfied. The thoughtful design and layout completely met my high standards for accommodation quality, even for someone as picky as me. While the window view isn't great, it perfectly satisfies the need for a good night's sleep – after all, I'm not here to gaze at the scenery from the hotel. The breakfast selection can cater to above-average needs and is highly recommended.
PS: The essential oil scent of the hand soap is wonderful! They even provided Red Sausage from Li Dao and a Modern brand popsicle. Each floor has a water bottle dispenser by the elevator for guests to take, and the room also comes with complimentary Coke and Sprite. The attention to detail is impressive! I just had to write a glowing review! Hope it stays this way!

This hotel is my top choice for a layover at Harbin Airport! The service was excellent, they even put a protective cover on my ID card. The front desk staff were really enthusiastic and the stay was very comfortable. It's only a five to six-minute drive from the airport, so the shuttle service is convenient. They also have a laundry room with a dryer, which was super handy for washing clothes quickly. All in all, a pretty good stay.

The location is directly across from the south entrance of Central Street, with north-facing windows offering a view straight down the street. It's about equidistant from Central Street Station and Shangzhi Street Station on Metro Line 2, roughly 45-55 meters from each – a bit of a 'can't have your cake and eat it too' situation.
The lobby service was incredibly warm, efficient, and never dragged. Someone even managed to seamlessly hand me a cup of tea that was the perfect temperature and strength. Absolutely fantastic.
The family room had a large and a small bed, both spacious enough. There was ample room for luggage and even a convenient spot next to the toilet for your phone. The complimentary tea bags in the room were Lapsang Souchong and White Peony. Room cleaning was incredibly efficient – it was tidied up by the time we returned from breakfast.
The hotel's convenience store had decent prices, and a good selection of bottled Kvas from Qiulin. If you turn right outside, there's a great grilled squid vendor. Across the street, there's a large Harbin Meat Processing Factory store.
Overall, very satisfied!

This is the first five-star review I've given a hotel all year. The hotel is right next to Central Street and very close to the Central Street subway station. There are plenty of dining options around the hotel, and of course, Central Street itself is great for shopping, so the location is excellent. But these are secondary; the hotel's overall service and facilities were truly impressive. The staff's warm service and the perfect facilities left a deep impression on me. Even though we only had one suitcase, the doorman helped us carry it all the way to our room. The room wasn't huge, but it was very well-equipped, especially the fully automatic toilet. The shower pressure was excellent, and the water temperature was just right. The quality of the dental kit was also very good; I even took a new set home. Besides the buffet, it seems there are also special daily offerings for breakfast, and afternoon tea is provided. The room was also very quiet, which was a huge plus. This will definitely be my top choice when I visit Harbin again.

The hotel's location is super convenient, within walking distance to Central Street and Saint Sophia Cathedral, and the Songhua River is right next to it. The staff were really welcoming and helpful. The room had all the amenities I needed: air conditioning with cooling, 24-hour hot water, WiFi, and a smoothly working TV. The lighting was pleasantly soft. The afternoon tea was delicious! Overall, a fantastic stay.

This hotel truly excels in every aspect, from service to amenities. The thoughtful touches in the room, like the humidifier, wet wipes, disposable toilet seat covers, earplugs, and plastic slippers, show they really consider the guest's perspective. The front desk staff are incredibly welcoming and accommodating. When I checked out, they even offered a 'princess treatment' service, escorting me all the way to my ride-sharing car.
I noticed many families staying here, which makes sense given the excellent family-friendly services. The front desk offers a breakfast voucher for just one yuan, and for multiple guests staying multiple nights, they thoughtfully arrange rooms together. Breakfast itself is delicious and varied, with the crispy fried pork (guoba rou) and tofu pudding being particular highlights.

33005947198Getting to and from the ski slopes was super convenient. Compared to the two hotels next door, this one offered great value for money. The front desk staff were really enthusiastic and accommodating, always willing to help. They even proactively extended our check-out time! 👍
GGuest UserThe room size and layout were very well-thought-out. The bedding was comfortable, the hairdryer worked great, and the rain shower had excellent water pressure, making for a very enjoyable shower experience. Breakfast far exceeded my expectations; both the Chinese and Western options were delicious, clearly showing a dedication to high-quality food. The service was also excellent. It's very close to West Station, and there's a bus stop right downstairs, which is very convenient. Highly recommended!

AAnonymous UserTraveling during the off-season is truly a great deal. The facilities are excellent, and it offers great value for money.
The hotel's location is superb, just a three to five-minute walk to Central Street and Saint Sophia Cathedral, and less than ten minutes to the Hongzhuan Street morning market.
The auntie (housekeeping) cleans daily and provides plenty of bottled drinking water (perhaps knowing how dry Harbin can be).

GGuest UserOne of the coziest hotels I’ve ever stayed in! From the first moments inside I was smitten by the fresh aroma in the hotel, which was lingering in the lift and in the rooms. It’s not an unbearable perfume, but a very subtle hint of floral freshness. The hotel is undoubtedly clean and comfortable; everything from the hairdryer and shampoo to the massage bed is wonderful and clearly maintained. They have a cute robot that delivers food straight to your room. The rooms are clean and the smart home function with its automatic curtains is very convenient on those lazy mornings before another eventful day. The breakfast is very cozy and tasty, I especially loved the steamed buns and the coconut coffee. The location is just right, the road allows for a comfortable taxi access, and within a 10-15 walk you can see the beautiful Central Street. And right outside the hotel there are many delicious food options (though, I recommend robot delivery for ultimate cozyness). The staff is polite and helpful, especially the ladies (I once again confirmed ladies are always much more professional and helpful in every nation, the young man at the counter was not helpful at all). All in all, this hotel made my stay very enjoyable. If I’ll have an opportunity to return to Harbin, I would love to choose this hotel again 💖

GGuest UserWhat's it like to be a ”castle owner” for a night?
The Sun Island Castle Hotel, located on the scenic banks of the Songhua River, boasts a charming European architectural style. The first floor is home to various small eateries, while the entire second floor is dedicated to the hotel guest rooms. From the third floor, you can directly access the cross-river cable car, and the fourth floor houses the Chocolate Castle Museum. This museum features an incredibly diverse collection of chocolates, and outside, there's an observation deck – a superb spot to admire the Songhua River's night view.
The hotel's location is excellent, offering incredibly convenient transportation. Besides the cable car, you can also take a cruise ship across the river. The sightseeing bus also stops here, making it easy to visit all the attractions on Sun Island, with the freedom to hop on and off as you please.
This time, I stayed in the most affordable ”Viscount Interior Room.” The room was spacious and well-equipped, with furnishings that truly captured the grand essence of a castle. The only minor drawback was the lack of a window, meaning I couldn't enjoy the natural scenery outside – a small regret.
It's worth noting that, compared to the opulent guest rooms, the hotel's front desk seemed a bit understated. The small reception counter is tucked away in a corner on the first floor, which felt a little out of sync with the ”Chocolate Castle” theme. Personally, I suggest designing the front desk in the shape of chocolate and having the reception staff wear more distinctive attire. Wouldn't that better align with the magical theme of this place?
Overall, this was a surprisingly delightful stay, highly recommended for those who appreciate unique hotels.

YYanggaomeinvTraveling to Harbin with my child, our first stop was the Xana Hotel (Harbin Central Street Sophia Church). The hotel's location is perfect, situated in the middle-north section of Central Street, making it incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. Zhaolin Park is just 100 meters east, across the street, and the main Central Street is 50 meters west. St. Sophia Cathedral is about 500-800 meters away on foot. The hotel lobby was super cozy, offering a stamp check-in and afternoon tea. The staff provided excellent service. Since I hadn't planned my trip and decided to go last minute, I asked about Harbin's specialties. They even added me on WeChat and sent me a guide to dining, entertainment, and attractions around the hotel. The breakfast was incredibly rich, meeting all the nutritional needs (meat, eggs, milk, fruit) required for traveling with a child. On the day of check-out, I decided last minute to take some travel photos with my child near St. Sophia, which delayed our check-out time. The staff kindly extended our check-out until 2 PM for free. All in all, our first stop in Harbin made us feel so warm. If you're staying around Central Street, Xana is definitely the best choice!!! I've already recommended it to many friends since returning to Beijing. 😙😙😙

AAnonymous UserLet's start with the hotel's location, which is excellent. Turn right out of the hotel and you're on Central Street within 20 meters. Turn left and walk a few hundred meters to the popular Hongzhuan Morning Market. It's about 2 kilometers from St. Sophia Cathedral, the Flood Control Monument, the riverside cable car, and the cruise ship terminal, where you can take a boat to Sun Island. There are many old, highly-rated restaurants nearby; I highly recommend Lao Chu Fang (Old Kitchen) for its amazing dishes, and it's just dozens of meters from the hotel, making it very convenient.
The highlight, however, is the hotel itself, which is steeped in history. It's a protected cultural relic, a century-old mansion that seamlessly blends modern amenities with its historical charm. Staying here, you get to experience its rich past while enjoying contemporary comfort and convenience. This trip was a self-driving tour with four childhood friends and our mothers. The hotel's butler-style service made us feel right at home from arrival to check-out.
Given the hotel's prime location, parking is scarce and managed by the city with separate fees. I had informed the front desk beforehand that we were traveling with four elderly ladies. To my surprise, upon arrival, a helpful staff member (a handsome young man!) immediately assisted with our luggage, helped us check in, and escorted us to our rooms. Similarly, at check-out, they helped load our luggage into the car. The front desk staff (a lovely young lady) even arranged a parking spot for us in advance. Overall, my friends and our mothers unanimously praised our stay at Hotel 1903, saying it was wonderful, and we'll definitely stay here again next time.

GGuest UserAs a frequent traveler, I often stay at Crowne Plaza. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful, answering all my questions and even upgrading my room. Their service was excellent. The front desk was very professional, and the hotel's location is fantastic, close to Sunac Land and a shopping mall. Plus, it offers amenities like a pool and a free gym. The hotel lobby is beautifully decorated, and the rooms are well-lit with warm, comfortable bedding. The overall environment is lovely. It's a great choice for leisure and travel!

LLieu Munn LoongI have had a 4-night stay at this Homeinn Selected Hotel (Harbin Central Avenue Pedestrian Street) Room #308 from 23 to 27 March 2026.
The Hotel is located very near the popular 1.5km Central Street (a must-go for people who love to immerse Russian architectural of the golden era). There are many eateries and shops along this pedestrian street, so it is extremely convenient to hunt for food, especially the Russia cuisines.
The Hotel itself is not old and run down as it appears quite new, however, the building can be quite old and it can be better maintained by the building owner. It has a modest but modern lobby with welcoming sofas, with free serving of hot coffee and tea, plus free supply of bottled water! It is generally clean and maintained. The hotel staff are polite and helpful, whenever I ask for directions and recommendations of food and places of interest.
The hotel family room that I have booked is about 400sq ft - it is meant for 3! The decoration is contemporary and modern, and the double-glazed has helped to shut the traffic noise off near 100%. It is certainly spacious and clean, with 1 queen bed and 1 super single bed, a small sofa set, and a big TV. It does not have a so called proper wardrobe, the proper vanity top is outside the very big shower room that is separated from the powerful WC. It has strong water pressure for comfortable showers everyday. The firm mattress and pillows are comfortable for my liking.
The Hotel also has a laundry room that provides free washing and drying for hotel guests. Within the laundry comes with a treadmill, a stationery bicycle, and a workout station for guests who wish to do some simple exercise. The hotel also offers daily breakfast buffets at about ¥49 per pax, which is limited in variety but it gives a good start for the day.
At SGD S$36 per night for a very spacious room without breakfast , I find it extremely value for money, and I will surely choose to stay here again when I visit Harbin again to experience the magical winter world!
