Mohammed AlthamashWonderful stay near Masjid an-Nabawi. The hotel was clean, quiet, and well maintained. Staff were very friendly and always ready to help. The location made it easy to reach the mosque for prayers. Highly recommended for families and pilgrims visiting Madinah.

Previously, I was looking for a hotel reference to stay while in Medina, I'm from Indonesia and I'm not a typical traveller who is hard to adapt, God willing, I won't complain much. I chose this hotel because it is the favorite hotel of Indonesians when going to Medina, because it is only a 5-6 minute walk to the prophet's mosque.
4 days 3 nights for 2 rooms I stayed here for a triple room type, I stayed here with my family after we did Umrah. The plus value of this hotel is that the air conditioner is cold, even you feel cold when you turn off
No water for us since we check in until out đ

ShuaishuaizhadexiaogegeThe environment is fine and the scenery is beautiful. The room is a bit small. Whatever you do, don't leave the door open! If you do, close it immediately. I forgot to close it and a mouse ran in late at night and crawled on me, which scared me to death! I called the hotel and they sent someone to catch it.

Anonymous UserMy recent stay at Makarem Burj Al Madinah was truly remarkable, and it is a hotel I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the holy city. From the moment I arrived, the experience exceeded expectations in every possible way. One of the hotelâs greatest advantages is its excellent location, just a short and convenient walk from the blessed Masjid Al Nabawi. This proximity makes it incredibly easy to attend prayers, especially Fajr and late-night prayers, without the stress of transportation or long walking distances.
The staff at Makarem Burj Al Madinah deserve special recognition. Every team member I encountered was welcoming, respectful, and genuinely eager to help. The front desk staff handled check-in smoothly and professionally, always ready to assist with questions or requests. Equally impressive was the cleaning team, who maintained the rooms and public areas to an exceptionally high standard. Their attention to detail was evident daily, and their polite and friendly manner made the stay even more comfortable.
As the hotel is only around six months old, everything feels fresh, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms, corridors, and common areas are spotless, well maintained, and beautifully finished. There is a noticeable sense of cleanliness throughout the property, complemented by a pleasant and refreshing fragrance that greets you as soon as you enter. This consistent cleanliness and inviting atmosphere contribute greatly to a sense of peace and relaxation after long hours spent at the Haram.
Another excellent feature of the hotel is the 24-hour gym, which is thoughtfully segregated for men and women. This allows guests to exercise comfortably and privately at any time of day or night. The gym is modern, clean, and well equipped, making it easy to maintain a fitness routine even while traveling. Having round-the-clock access is especially convenient for guests with busy schedules centered around prayer times.
Breakfast at Makarem Burj Al Madinah was another highlight of the stay. The breakfast spread is generous, varied, and well organized, offering a wide selection of dishes to suit different tastes. From fresh and hot options to lighter choices, everything was prepared to a high standard. The dining area is clean and pleasant, and the breakfast staff are attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable start to the day.
Overall, Makarem Burj Al Madinah delivers an outstanding hospitality experience. Its close proximity to Masjid Al Nabawi, combined with its new and pristine condition, friendly staff, excellent housekeeping, well-designed gym facilities, and high-quality breakfast, make it an ideal choice for visitors to Madinah. I would gladly stay here again so long as prices remain reasonable God willing and confidently recommend it to anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and quality during their visit to this sacred city.

Guest UserThis hotel is very suitable for those who want to stay on the green dome side, only 5 minutes walk. And the hotel is right next to saffiya museum and the new restaurants, so many good ones to choose from. The hotel is directly connected to a mall, and cheap pakistani food is also available, and lots of clothes shops. So everything is nearby.
Only ladies prayer area is further away, but I didn't mind walking.

We had originally booked another hotel but upon arrival there we immediately canceled our reservation and were looking for another hotel in the area ASAP, something clean, close to Masjid Nabawi and fairly priced. Â We knew the name and brand; however, we saw two Intercontinental hotels and went with the one we felt had a slight edge or advantage.
The hotel was built many years ago and we were informed that it is in the planning process of a renovation so we knew ahead of time what to expect. It has signature blue carpet and a 1950âs/1960âs vibe that I personally adored (almost out of a James Bond movie with Sean Connery). Â Everyday we stayed at the hotel, it grew on us. Â The view outside was heavenly mashAla. Â Remember you can open the window haha some people I imagine think they canât. Â It such an experience and you have to do it. Â Most importantly, however, the sweatheart staff and how accommodating they were, you forget youâre staying at the Intercontinental and imagine youâre at your friends house. Â Again, We had an amazing window view and could see in the direction of Uhud. Â All The cafeâs are right outside of the hotel, the mosque is literally right outside the hotel and down the walking path, maybe a 5 minute walk. Â Plenty of pigeons to feed, affordable Ubers/ Taxi right outside, you can walk to Uhud you can walk to Quba, you can do it all. Â And the best part, the check-in/help desk are right in front of you when you walk in to the lobby. Â
Side note: if you enjoy peoppe watching , you get a great view from your hotel room to the outside.Â
They have a coffee bar in the Lobby with free dates and Arabic coffee (world class) and this hotel served the best Breakfast and room service food Iâve ever had and Iâve been to 51 countries, aged 44. Â It was even at par or better maybe than the Jabal Omar in Mecca we stayed at. Â You absolutely cannot lose out by staying at this hotel. Â If you have any issues pick up your room phone and dial any one of the prompts and someone will alleviate any issues you have. Â
The hotel executive management were world class and again treated me like a friend/family. Â Based off our repertoire Iâd come back to this hotel because Sister Khadijah and staff were so amazing mashAla.

I was really impressed with the hotel, location and the friendliness of the staff. The hotel was very clean and always had a pleasant smell all the time. Rooms were very spacious, even the bathroom was very big. Room had a safe, ironing board and tge complementary tea, coffee and water bottles, which I thought was a nice touch.
Staff were very friendly, both the housekeeping and on reception. Always made you feel welcome and always offering to help. There are 4 lifts, which are quite fast but during peak times can take a while to get in and out of them. But to work around that, you just leave earier for prayers, Masjid Nabawi is less than 5 minutes away, so location was excellent and you have all eatery close by.

MichaelLocation is perfect. Short walk to the Mosque and easy to organise walking to all the shops.
Staff are exceptional, always looking to enhance your experience.
Breakfast was good with a good selection but did lack variety day in day out. Staff here are very good and are always willing to help. Downside would be the coffee machines that never seemed to be working correctly.
We had a couple of maintenance issues, but staff were sent promptly and most were rectified in a good time.
A tip would ask for your room to face the mall, the otherside had a lot of traffic noise which was constant.
