The hotel is located outside the bus terminal of 3 Cruces, which is convenient. The room Igotwasquite small and therefore, the toilet was inconvenient to use due to lack of space. The service at the hotel was quite weird, they always had the main entrance of the hotel closed, so youhad to knock the gate every time you wanted to get in. To have your room cleaned you had togo toreception and requested cause nobody cleaned the room, only the ones where the guests checked out. I find the service of the hotel quite weird and for a chain like Wyndham quite bad.
Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at 11am, which is a little bit uncomfortable. The building has a sense of history, and the decoration and facilities inside are not very new, which is different from the hotels under 200 in China, but the price here is reasonable. It is very close to Independence Square. In short, I am quite satisfied.
Conveniently located about 10 minutes on foot from Independence Square. The first floor is under renovation, and the elevator feels old, but I received sufficient service for the price.
The location is very good, the hotel is very safe, the service is good, the breakfast is generally the same, the price is cost-effective in the local area, I believe Trip.com, this trip has always been booked on Trip.com.
At first I didn't like the look of this hotel. There was graffiti outside and my room was cold. I spent most the night looking at more expensive hotels. The next day I was glad I didn't change to another hotel. The heater in the room eventually did its job. The location turned out not to be so bad. The breakfast was good. The desk staff were very helpful. It worked out well, but next time I would book a hotel near Pocitos.
Everything was excellent. The room had recently been redecorated and was very clean, the restaurant is superb, hotel staff was very friendly and pointed us to interesting places in the city. It is at a central location in the city so it's great if you're planning to explore by walking on the rambla. We hope to visit again soon!
The hotel is located in the historic neighborhood, close to the port for those coming from Buenos Aires. It is easy to access. Breakfast is excellent for the price requested. The room is small but contains everything you need except a hairdryer.
The hotel is on the main road, the transportation is convenient, the room space is too crowded, the twin room and the big bed are no different, the two beds are together, the passage is not convenient.
They upgraded my room to a bigger one, but it felt like it wasn't booked for some time, the floor was a bit dusty.
The bed is comfortable.
The lobby looks luxurious, but the room is very basic, walls are empty.100% Blackout curtains.
The staff is nice and helpful.
However they didn't allow me to use the swimming pool after I checked out despite on I checked in very late.
Free luggage storage.
The restaurant manager is super nice, and the breakfast is good.
The location is good, a convenience store at the corner, a couple of restaurants nearby, nice buildings. Quiet district.

Hotel Costanero Montevideo - MGallery is located in Pocitos, right in front of Pocitos beach. The hotel has a modern contemporary interior design, and it is beautifully decorated. The hotel is situated about 35 minutes drive to Carrasco International Airport. We stayed Hotel Costanero Montevideo - MGallery for 1 night, and I must say that the services provided exceeded our expectations. From the customer service representatives at the reception, bar, and all the staff at Cauce made our stay very comfortable and felt welcomed. Breakfast is served at Cauce restaurant located on the 1st floor overlooking the beach and breakfast menu exceeded our expectations. There are a variety of croissants and pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon, fruits, yoghurt, and coffee. We were given 2 complimentary welcome drinks at the bar. The swimming pool and sauna are located on the 2nd floor and are clean and new. The gym is new and equipped with modern cardio and weight equipment. Our room is a king-size room overlooking the beach on the 3rd floor. The room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is modern, and the bed linen and towels were impeccable. We can enjoy the seaview by lying on our bed.
A very good more upscale hotel in Montevideo. it's close to many transport options and breakfast was included as well. The rooms were alright; but nothing that wasn't working. The staff were super welcoming and warm, always attentive and smiling, especially at the front desk!
BBryce van de LaarWe spent two nights in Alquimiste and we never wanted to leave! The guesthouse which is almost 100 years old is full of antique furniture, original artwork, and even has a lookout tower on the 4th floor boasting 360 views of the Carrasco neighborhood. It is a 2 minute walk from the beach and very close to some of Montevideo’s most famous restaurants. Carolina and Mark are delightful and happy to help with anything. The restaurant is lovely, and the breakfasts is a real treat. Hot croissants, freshly baked scones with marmalade and cream cheese, freshly squeezed orange juice, and beautifully plated granola we’re just some of our favorites. Staying at Alquimiste, you really feel like you are apart of something special!
EEvan WilliamThe hostel was well located in the old city. It was very close to museums and shops. The building is old and beautiful. I stayed in a single and it was very spacious. I have only two complaints: the perfume on the cleaning supplies (on linens or otherwise) was overwhelming. The first night, I woke up and I could taste it. The other complaint is about the state of the carpet and couch. Both were pretty stained and not well-maintained. The above said, it was a nice stay. The room was big, the staff were friendly, and it was very well located. I would recommend this to a traveler looking to save a little money.
I was first time visited ^ There is a shopping center and a bus terminal nearby. There is a water dispenser at the front desk. The bed is small size^ Restaurant menu simple ^ Restaurant Open time 7:00am^
