The hotel boasts an elegant environment, making you feel like you have an entire mountain to yourself. Built into the hillside, the two-bedroom suite we booked this time was located mid-mountain. The hotel community has complete facilities, and the main entrance is fenced off with a gate, so the security is reassuring and makes you feel very safe.
The shuttle service uses Voyah commercial vans, which are super comfortable! The staff helped with our luggage, which was very thoughtful and attentive. It's about 10 kilometers from Badaling Great Wall, and Shuiguan Great Wall is nearby and not crowded. Juyongguan Great Wall is also conveniently located on the way to Beijing South Station, so we stopped by, making our trip even more rich and fulfilling.From€126

We had a wonderful stay and would happily come back again! Our room was a massive hit with our toddler, and we really enjoyed the facilities. The hot springs were clean and lovely, and the little touches like the candyfloss machine and vending machines in the lobby were such a fun bonus.
The staff were a real highlight — everyone was so friendly, welcoming and helpful.
The only area for improvement would be paying a little more attention to the finer details when preparing and servicing the rooms. We didn’t have a towel for our child, and this wasn’t replenished the following day. The minibar and bathroom amenities were also not fully restocked despite being included in our package. Similarly, at breakfast, the cutlery on the tables wasn’t always replenished, so we sometimes had to look for it ourselves. These small details make a big difference, particularly when paying a premium for the stay.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would still happily give our stay 10/10. We’d definitely stay again and look forward to coming back!From€67

This was my partner and my first time vacationing in Miyun, and also our first stay at the Hylla Hotel. The entire trip far exceeded our expectations; it was truly wonderful!
I have to specially commend our dedicated concierge, Golden Key Ethan. Before we even arrived, he proactively added us on WeChat to connect, showing incredible thoughtfulness and attention to detail. Knowing we wanted to relax and recuperate, he took the initiative to pre-book Ayurvedic treatments and singing bowl sessions for us at the wellness center. He also thoroughly explained all of the hotel's unique offerings, such as the hillside hot springs, the gymnasium, and the mountain hiking trails, clearly outlining the duration of each activity and any booking注意事项 (important notes). We didn't have to worry about a thing.
Throughout our stay, he was incredibly responsive, answering any small questions we had almost instantly. He's reliable, patient, and warm. I later learned he's a professional 'Golden Key' concierge, and his professionalism was evident—it’s rare to find such a dedicated and caring service person.
The hotel itself is also outstanding. Tucked away on the hillside, the air is fresh and quiet, with negative oxygen ions reaching 9000! The 12 forest hot springs create an amazing ambiance, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast spread is incredibly rich, far surpassing the quality of a five-star hotel in the city. There’s also a huge kids’ play area, with facilities that cater to both adult relaxation and children's fun.
This time it was just my partner and me enjoying a relaxing getaway, and we are completely smitten. We'll definitely bring our daughter and the whole family next time, and we'll certainly ask concierge Ethan to arrange our itinerary again! The rooms are clean and tidy, and come with a balcony. When checking in, you need to register your vehicle to park in the underground parking lot 🅿️, otherwise, you might be charged a parking fee. We had three king-size rooms, and 1119 had the best view, overlooking the lake from the balcony, with a beautiful sunrise in the morning. The room directly opposite could see the golf course behind, which was great for sunset views. The bathroom and bathtub are in separate spaces opposite each other, designed with two sinks for simultaneous use. The front desk is on the second floor, and the connecting corridor to the hot spring ♨️ is also on the same floor, though it's a bit of a walk. The buffet restaurant is on the first floor. Pros:
1. The hotel is conveniently located near the entrance to Simatai Great Wall. It's easy to access the Wall for hiking, and you can also enjoy views of it from the second floor of the room. The Wall is visible in the distance from the window, making it a secluded retreat away from the hustle and bustle.
2. The hotel offers excellent service. Housekeeping is prompt, and the staff are attentive and welcoming.
3. The duplex suite A is very spacious, perfect for families with elderly members and children. Kids, especially, will love rolling and crawling on the tatami mat.
4. Slippers and bath towels are replaced daily, and complimentary fruit is provided every day.
5. After checking out, I left my headphones in the room. The hotel proactively contacted me and arranged for them to be couriered to me, which I truly appreciate.
Cons:
1. The room is very inconvenient for elderly guests with mobility issues. The main bed is on the second floor, making it difficult for them to go up and down. The first floor has a tatami mat, which makes it hard for elderly guests to get up and lie down. If they need to get up at night, they would definitely need assistance.
2. While the room is large, whether the Japanese wabi-sabi style truly suits Chinese guests, especially for a hotel charging 5,000 yuan per night, is a question that needs consideration. The wabi-sabi aesthetic often translates to very sparse furnishings: no comfortable sofas, no bedside tables, no bedside lamps, and certainly no central control panel for all lights and appliances. The tatami mat essentially means sleeping on the floor with a low table, making it very inconvenient and challenging to get up, sit down, or place and retrieve items, which clashes with Chinese living habits.
3. The private hot spring bath in the room only has one switch for hot water, making it impossible to adjust the temperature. Its size is also awkward; it's fine for one person, but feels cramped for two. For a room type designed for six people, such a small bath is quite inconvenient. Furthermore, the inner wall of the bath is made of solid wood, raising concerns about hygiene.
4. The smart toilet was broken and remained unrepaired even after reporting it.
5. The two bedrooms on the second floor, designed to accommodate at least four people, share a single small bathroom, which is a very impractical design.
Additionally, the entire Gubei Water Town is not suitable for elderly visitors with mobility issues, especially those in wheelchairs. The flagstone paths are very uneven, and there are many steps, which would make a wheelchair ride extremely bumpy and uncomfortable.From€239

Absolutely stunning hotel
The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and the decor was absolutely stunning. It really does look just like the photos.
Its also easy walking distance to Wangfujing shopping street, to multiple subway lines, and to the Forbidden City. Dozens of food options right across the street too, but also several in-house restaurants and room service.
Our room was spotlessly clean, the air was fresh and clean, and the housekeeping cleaned up and replaced our towels and amenities daily.
The gym was very well equipped with commercial gym standard equipment - it doesnt open til 7am though. The swimming pool area was also lovely though we were too busy exploring Beijing and never got a chance to swim in it!
We would both, most definitely, stay with Legendale again and would thoroughly recommend to others, too. It was an absolute pleasure to stay there. We only wish we had stayed for a bit longer.From€137

Room: This time I stayed in room 2007. Last time, my friend and I stayed in 1008. The difference is that 2007 has a king-sized bed, while 1008 has twin beds. The twin room has a very hard yellow sofa by the window, whereas the king-sized bed room has a desk. So, if you want a better experience enjoying the Third Ring Road from the window, you might prefer the twin room.
35 Tang (restaurant): I was quite surprised. Honestly, I've stayed in many hotels in Beijing, but 35 Tang is truly unique in how its breakfast incorporates Beijing characteristics. And the food tastes good too. So, when booking, you might want to add breakfast. Plus, there are many tables with views of the 'Big Trousers' (CCTV Headquarters), which is really pleasant.
Gym: The 0.5 deduction in facilities is actually for 'Refinery'. I used to work nearby and had a membership at Refinery. However, during this stay, I noticed that the floor maintenance was really poor, including the equipment. But everything else, from the view to the changing rooms, is actually quite good.
Parking: You need to park at China World Mall, it's 10 yuan/hour with no cap. If you have a China World membership, you can drive out and circle around when your time is up, then re-enter to restart the billing. This can save you some money.
Overall: China World Summit Wing is a hotel with excellent value for money and an extremely satisfying experience!From€140

It’s a very good hotel located in ideal location . It’s very near to forbidden city which is just few streets away. Many restaurants located nearby, like Si Ji Min Fu Peking Duck. Free laundry and free robot delivery service . As there’s only one robot for food delivery to room, and during peak hour , you might need to go down to collect the food at the hotel counter yourself . 💡 What to pack
Most spas include pyjamas or a T-shirt and shorts set for moving around mixed areas, as well as towels, a locker and basic toiletries. Therefore, there's no need to pack too much luggage.
