The hotel has obvious pros and cons. The pros are that it meets standard five-star expectations. The rooms are generally good and spacious enough, perfect for families with two children as the bunk beds plus the large bed provide ample space. The location is excellent, right across from Chunxi Road. The breakfast is good, and there's a parking lot. The cons are also clear: the facilities are a bit old, the parking lot is narrow, it's not smart at all, and there aren't even enough power outlets. The room wasn't as old as some online reviews suggested; it was clean and comfortable. After checking in around 3 PM, I showered and rested before heading out. When I returned, the turndown service had tidied up and refreshed things.
The view wasn't spectacular, but the night view offered a distant glimpse of Tianfu, where you could see the Yin-Yang pattern.
The 'five meals a day' concept was indeed excellent. It was conveniently located on the same floor as the lounge, giving it a homey, 'just walk over to your living room' feel. I skipped breakfast but experienced everything else. The afternoon tea looked lovely, but if I stayed another day, I wouldn't want the full set; I dislike waste, so I preferred the self-service options. The freshly prepared dishes for lunch and dinner were fantastic.
I wasn't a fan of the butler's excessive enthusiasm, but then again, it also felt a bit strange to have no one around at all – maybe my status wasn't high enough.
I decided to stay here after reading many reviews, so I wanted to write a more detailed one for others. If my next trip isn't too rushed, I would definitely choose this place again.

Yuanyuanxiang is genuinely delicious! Usually, mountain guesthouses either have inconvenient dining or aren't quiet enough. Yuanyuanxiang is both peaceful and offers amazing food! Located close to Chunxi Road(5 min walk) and Tianfu Square(10 min walk), exit at Exit E1 or Exit A from Chunxi Metro Station for nearest exit. The lobby is huge and clean, the single room also huge and comfortable. The breakfast variety is good for 4* rated hotel with noodle/salad/pastry station and hot dishes like Thai chicken curry, fried mixed vegetable etc, good breakfast to start the day.
The staffs are helpful but might hv some difficulty to understand some crucial request. I asked for no room clean but need water bottles and ended up getting none. I very like the carpetted room but I found few strains of hair left, the housekeepers could do abit more hard vacuum during cleaning I guess. Others were spotless.

Not to sound exaggerated, but Grand ParcVue Hotel is by far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Having travelled to many countries and stayed in different types of hotels, I would rank the overall experience and service here among the top tier. I stayed in a Deluxe King Room for 3 days and 2 nights and was already impressed upon arrival. I checked in at around 1am and was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff before being assigned a room on the 23rd floor. There was a slight unpleasant smell in the room, possibly coming from the kitchen, but it wasn't a major issue as I could close the doors to prevent it from coming in. I bought an air freshener myself, and what impressed me was that the manager came personally the next day to check on the situation and even provided an air purifier.
The breakfast was another highlight. I enjoyed trying the local dan dan noodles, and I noticed many international guests from Korea, Japan and Western countries. The dining hall staff were all friendly and professional. The gym on the 6th floor was also surprisingly well-equipped, with a good selection of dumbbells and machines for a full-body workout. Even more impressive was the Relaxation Room on the 7th floor, where guests can enjoy several massage chairs 24 hours a day. There is also a Business Lounge on the same floor, which is a great place for meetings, conversations or simply getting some work done.
The hotel is also directly connected to Yanlord Mall, so you will never have to worry about finding restaurants or shops. Do note that it is a high-end mall, so food there can be relatively expensive. One thing I particularly appreciated was the hotel's hospitality even after checkout—I was offered access to the Business Lounge on my final day so I could conduct my online classes comfortably before heading to the airport.
Overall, I had an excellent stay at Grand ParcVue Hotel. The combination of great facilities, convenient location and, most importantly, genuinely attentive service made this stay memorable. 1. The room had no windows, but the layout and amenities were very spacious and well-equipped. The entire room was located in the building's atrium, which gave off an uncomfortable vibe of wanting to maximize profit without wasting space. Why make such a large room without windows? Who are you trying to annoy? We originally wanted to change rooms, but the other room types with bathtubs were not only very small, but the bathtubs were tiny too. I really don't understand this shoddy design philosophy.
2. The central air conditioning was freezing cold. There was no way to turn on the heat, and no individual temperature control. You either endured it or turned it off and stifled. Amazing!
3. We had requested late check-out well in advance and confirmed it with the front desk. At 1:54 PM, before the check-out time, they deactivated our room key. We couldn't get into the room and had to wait five minutes outside for staff to let us in. Then, at 2:10 PM, they started calling us to rush our check-out. Amazing!

Chunxi Road Commercial Area Chengdu|2.67km from city centre
The hotel is conveniently located near the Funan River, Chunxi Road, Kuanzhai Alley, and People's Park. The service is incredibly attentive and reliable, with quick responses. It's also very easy to get to the East Railway Station, with a subway station right next door. The butler provided excellent service throughout our stay. The overall service attitude of the hotel staff was also great; they made us feel valued, and the check-in experience was very comfortable. The breakfast was decent, and the complimentary afternoon tea was fantastic. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.FromMYR 253
