Hot Spring Hotels in Chengdu

Me and my son are coming to this hotel for the 4th time since last August. It is my place of Harmony and Healing. Every corner of the hotel brings me joy, it is a pure art and satisfaction to all senses. They have 8pm sound healing meditation every day, and it relaxes me on the deepest level. They cook fresh dinner every day and I love Kung pao chicken the most. They offer variety of teas and I love it too. I stayed in each room category and all of them are spotless, amazing. All rooms have private onsen on the balcony. It is extremely satisfying to have a hot bath regardless of the time of the year. The hotel is getting very popular so make sure to book in advance. The location is excellent, especially waking up to a view of lush greenery from bed. I have to particularly highlight their Chinese food, which was delicious. We ate three dinners in the ancient town. Our first was here. For our second, my husband insisted on trying a highly-rated place he found online, but... not a single dish was good. So, for our third dinner, we came back here. We had the cured meat platter three times, it was especially good here, and the 'fish擺擺' (a local fish dish) was also tasty. We just didn't get around to trying the hot pot, so we'll have to come back for that next time. **Facilities:** Pretty good, with smart toilets and a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. **Hygiene:** Considered quite good for a guesthouse. **Environment:** The location is superb, and the atmosphere both upstairs and downstairs is great. Kids can play in the small river, and if adults don't want to be in the sun, they can have tea at the bar on the ground floor. Sitting at the bar in the evening is very pleasant, and the prices are reasonable. **Service:** Excellent! The owner contacted us in advance. When we arrived, someone specially helped park our car, and when it was time to leave, we just let them know and they brought the car back out. It's perfect for lazy people, haha, no need to walk far for parking or be out in the sun.

The hotel's scenery is exceptionally beautiful, with a Chinese-inspired design and blessings extended to every guest. The courtyard is adorned with crape myrtle, pomegranates, and magnolia flowers, creating a sense of abundant beauty and prosperity. Flower-lined paths lead to picturesque spots, making every step a delight, and allowing one to forget all worries and simply immerse in the moment. The public hot springs are spacious, available both indoors and outdoors. The rooms are private villas, some with their own hot spring baths, and the温泉 water is natural radon spring water. The front desk managers, Helen and Li Yilin, were very attentive. I would definitely choose Fairmont Chengdu Hot Springs again if I have the chance; it must be even more beautiful in the autumn. This was a wonderful trip.

I was very satisfied with my stay. There are many accommodations in Qingcheng Mountain, and I chose this one. Before check-in, a staff member called to ask if I needed the hot tub filled in advance, which was great – I could just soak right upon arrival. The private hot tub in the room also offered good privacy, with a canopy overhead. The hotel is located directly opposite Qingcheng Mountain High-speed Rail Station. Parking is also very convenient, with its own underground parking lot. There's also a playground for kids, making it quite suitable for family travel. They provided afternoon tea, which included cold brew tea, fruit, and pastries. This place is pet-friendly, allowing dogs, which is perfect for those traveling with their furry friends. The breakfast was light but quite delicious. The front desk was responsive. It's definitely worth staying here; I plan to bring my kids next time for a cool escape. There's also a 24-hour FamilyMart right at the entrance, making it very convenient for buying things.

Overall, a perfect experience! It's a great place for a relaxing mountain getaway and definitely worth a second visit!

The Xishang Hotel offers an amazing experience with attentive and prompt butler service. The food is made with fresh local ingredients and tastes authentic and delicious. The private hot spring is secluded and quiet, and the environment is tranquil and a great escape from the summer heat. Overall, the stay was very comfortable and I highly recommend it.

I specifically booked a king room, and it was spacious enough to move around comfortably. The mattress was just right—not too soft, not too firm—so I slept really well. The whole place was clean and odor-free, the facilities were comprehensive, and the location was convenient. I was very satisfied with my stay and the overall travel experience.

Facilities: The hotel and room facilities are quite old, and the walls are severely waterlogged due to years of rain. Cleanliness: The hotel is mediocre, with some mosquitoes and insects hanging around corners, and the bedding has a damp smell. Environment: Sitting on the balcony or in the lobby bar, you can see the lush mountains in the distance. The air is especially fresh after the rain, and the mist is shrouded in clouds, creating a very picturesque atmosphere. Service: The hotel staff will do their best to provide services upon request, so it's generally acceptable.

The hotel environment is very nice, the room facilities are good, and the staff are very attentive and warm. The only downside is the location is a bit out of the way. Driving is fine, but there's a flight of stairs to the lobby from where you park, which can be inconvenient with luggage. However, the staff will help you with that once they realize it. It would be great if there were luggage carts available.

Traveling with kids, the most important things are cleanliness, hygiene, and good parking, and this place excels at all of them. The room view is also absolutely stunning. The chairs and sofas in the room are super comfortable; I even considered buying the same swivel chair! The shampoo and shower gel are amazing; it's the first time my kids asked me to buy hotel shampoo to take home. When I asked the hotel staff, they were very patient and helped me find out. It's also just a short walk to the old town. Thank you to the hotel and staff for giving us such a pleasant travel experience!
