This hotel is very close to the airport so i recommend to someone who has early or late flight. They say the shuttle from the airport to the hotel is free and it stops at many different hotels.

The location is not too far from the airport. There is also a train station nearby that can be reached in about five minutes. The room is basically clean and there are not many problems.
But remember, if you check in after ''20:00'' at night, remember to inform the hotel first. They will confirm the information with you in advance and then give you the password.
If you use trip, you can ask the service staff to help you contact them. They are very friendly👍👍👍
Pros
-price
- relatively close to the train station
- facilities
- relatively clean except for some mold near the shower area
- coffee machine
- comfy bed
- complimentary shuttle service from airport to hotel, which we weren’t aware of until we got there
- breakfast was decent
Cons
- lack of food options nearby, couple of fast food outlet
- for some reason the bed was made up for only 1 person when we clearly indicated two people in the booking. There was only one mug & glass too.
- only one complimentary water bottle
- coffee pods weren’t replaced unless asked
- housekeeping needs to be requested daily too
- while the hotel is 15mins away from main Zurich station, the area itself isn’t very pedestrian friendly. Little tricky to cross the roads with all the luggages and walk down to the hotel.
Overall, it was a good stay regardless

Really near to station, just no lift or escalator at the train station. So have to hike up a stairs with the luggage. A lot of supermarkets and restaurants nearby (within walking distance). Just 5 stops from zurich hb stations, 15mins journey.
Take note there’s no aircond in the room.
The parking is extremely hard to find if you are driving. When you see the building on your right, after passing by the building, turn right and just stop along the road where it says for pick-up and drop off. The Front office is just right there, check-in, get your key, pay for parking and you can access the parking which is right in between 2 buildings. It’s super misleading and you need your room key. Just be aware as there is a road slightly further down with red “labels” on the ground, you cannot drive on those!! I learnt it the hard way.
Anyway breakfast is very good and well worth it! Rooms are also good.
Service was good. A bit far from the tourist spots. Room was very clean and had plenty of amenities. Woke up the next morning and saw water leaking from ceiling.
The hotel is conveniently located close to the Zurich Airport and has free and frequent shuttle service to the departures area at the airport that goes every 20 minutes. The beds are comfy and the room is well stocked with free bottled water, tea/coffee station with a few options and a mini fridge. The shower was nice with good pressure but has the combined hair/body wash gel in a dispenser so you may want to consider bringing your own bath products. The linens were clean and soft but there were some crumbs left on the chair that made us feel it wasn't as clean as we thought it should be at the hotel. They did provide one small chocolate for the two of us in a small Swiss flag package but we feel they should have two.
The rooms at this hotel run a bit warm even in November and with the window open and it wasn't as restful a sleep as we would like to get before a flight. The lighting in the room is all provided by lamps and we felt it was odd that the left side of the bed had a switch to control the lamp outlet on the right side of the bed. We felt the lamp should have its own control near it and I did unplug it before I went to bed because we didn't discover the wall switch until the next morning and simply unplugged it. That plug in is also difficult to access and I had difficulty getting lights on in the room in the morning because I also unplugged the desk lamp for the tea kettle and did not know where the floor lamp switch was.
Check in went quite smooth and the front desk staff were friendly - They offered to set up an Accor membership account and offered two free welcome drinks to us. The hotel has a bar in the lobby area, offers breakfast for an additional fee and has a small convenience store behind the front desk where you can get snacks or Movenpick ice cream. Check out was quick as well and we were able to get on to the free shuttle bus easily but it is first come first serve so it might be worth going a bit early if you're in a hurry.
We got to the airport a little late to return our car rental and it was a bit tricky getting to the hotel. We went to the hotel shuttle area and could not find the shuttle that went to the Movenpick despite asking a few drivers. It is about a 10 minute drive from the airport itself so we asked a taxi driver and they offered to do the ride for 30 CHF which was insane considering Uber can do it for 15 CHF. The tram was the best option and took us from Banhof to Banhof Balsberg station for 2.8 CHF each and it was a short walk to the hotel entrance.

The good:
(1) Price is decent, located 1 stop away from Zurich HB. Also has Coop and Migros nearby. Some restaurants around the train station but not many choices.
(2) Bed and pillows are very comfortable
The not so great:
(1) No kettle provided, so don’t expect any free coffee / tea in the room, which you will normally expect. You need to get down to the lobby to get hot water which is super inconvenient
(2) No fridge in the room, so expect to consume all cold drinks etc unless you want lukewarm drinks
(3) No safe in the room
Technically, expect a super basic room with just bed, tv and toilet. Not something I expect from a Mercure brand.

The hotel had a beautiful decoration, the location is perfect not far from the city.
I was very well treated by the team.
Grateful for the experience.
Much success,
VP
Room is generally clean and spacious. Love it that it comes with fridge and microwave and cutleries. Didn't encounter the issue with not receiving access code as I duly submitted the documents and registered a few days in advance. Suggest that prospective visitors drop them an email to confirm everything is in order after completing the online check-in. Only issue is the bathroom area whether it gets flooded easily, guess it is due to the consideration for the physically challenged.

FFrancisco VicenteGood location, only 20 minutes walking from the main train station and 9 minutes in public transport with several options to travel around the city. They allow you to use their microwave and kitchenware if you bring your own food.
Breakfast does not worth for the price you paid.
Highly recommended if you are coming to Zurich for few days.

CClaire MOur family of six stayed a the Capsule Hotel - Alpine Garden Zurich Airport to have a few hours to sleep comfortably between two connecting flight with an overnight layover. The Capsule Hotel is right at the airport in Zurich, easy to find, to access, to check in and out even at late or very early hours - everything is automated, so no personal contact is needed. When booking I could add that I would like the capsules to be adjacent to each other and received an email that that will be taken care of. So it was. The capsules were super clean, quite spacious (our cabin luggage fit in conveniently) and nicely set up, lighting was warm and for my taste perfect. It said that the air in the cabin is being exchanged 22 times a day, so the feel should be like the window in a room is always open. I had a quite good night. My husband and one of my kids felt like there was not enough oxygen in the capsule despite the air exchange. Obviously, we could hear the guest of the other capsules (altogether 26 in that room) come and go even though everyone tried to be as quiet as possible, but that was acceptable, given the fact that the capsule hotel concept includes coming and going whenever the respective flights arrive/depart. If you get an upper capsule you'll have to do a bit of an exercise to get up and down, but that's not so bad after all. 😉
Access to the capsules is via code that will be sent to you after check-in and is also access to the room where your block of capsules are in. There is a women and men bathroom, each set up nicely, with separate shower and changing cabins, a pile of floor mats to use, toilets, basins, mirrors - all was clean and looked very natural with a lot of wood being used for decorating/building. Altogether, I great concept, a convenient stay, I'm very glad that we could try it out! The next morning, we were at our check-in in no time - seriously cool!
KKLC2025The staff are very helpful and friendly. They arranged a free upgrade for us as there was not enough additional bed for my kid. Good location and the hotel is being renovated.
AAnonymous UserOur room was spacious and comfortable, elegantly decorated and equipped with modern facilities. The magnificent mountain view outside the window was a pleasure to wake up every morning. The bed was very comfortable and ensured a good sleep quality.
GGuest UserHotel room was clean and modern.
Customer service needs a lot of improvement, particularly a receptionist called Natasha.
After collecting our luggages from the storage, I proceeded to asked her for the hotel room key as we have yet to check in. She then said ”she wouldn't know anything as I did not provide any details to her”. As a front desk staff, I would think it is part of your responsibility to maybe ask?
On another occasion, I asked her if it was okay to get something delivered to the hotel tomorrow as I forgot something and needed it urgently. Her respond was ”Isn't it too late now that I ask her?” The look on her face was a look of annoyance.
I told her I could cancel it if it wasn't allowed. Eventually, my item was not delivered as she probably did not cascade the information to the staff on duty the next day.
Would appreciate if she could respond nicely, especially when you're in the service line.
I'm not sure if it has anything to do with racism?? I've observed that she was very friendly and accomodate a guest of a different race whom asked her for a favour.
If you'd like consistently good service, I'd suggest put your money elsewhere. The accomodation doesn't come cheap as well.
SSteven JoonI had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, offering great value for money. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming, and eager to assist with anything I needed. Overall, it was a pleasant and hassle-free stay — I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent service at a reasonable price.
NNurzakiah HanimMy experience with this hotel was not that pleasant.
Arranged my luggage from Bern to this hotel. It was supposed to arrive on the 15th between 8am - 8pm. I arrived at the hotel around 8:40pm. When enquired if my luggage had arrived, I was informed that it not there yet. I had to call SBB using my IDD since they had no phone in the room, only to be informed that SBB had delivered my luggage on 15th at 8:50am. I went down to the reception and enquired regarding my luggage again, only to find out that my luggage was in their luggage room. The expense incurred on personal account was truly uncalled for. These could have been prevented if the front desk staff checked the luggage room when I enquired initially.
On the second day, an engineer opened my door when I was in the bathroom. Maybe he knocked but I couldn’t hear. He said that he’s gonna check the window. Why check on the window when a guest is still in house? I do understand that he’s just doing his job however, this can be done prior to a guest’s stay or could have waited for the guest to check out first.
The wifi is not that great too.
