When you walk into the lobby you're astounded by the richness of it. It's shiny and modern and lovely. Everyone is professional and friendly, and you're literally attached to the airport, so all your anxiety melts away knowing you'll get there on time.
You go up the elevator to your floor and the musty smell of mildew slaps you in the nose. You push your luggage through deep pile carpet, trying not to think about how long it's been there and swearing you've seen it in some classic 80s films. You get to your room. It's the smell that hits you first. Moldy. It's overwhelming. You go to open a window but it's secured shut with screws. The warped walls and carpets tell you this hotel was a gem thirty or forty years ago and they've done very little to it since. The refillable water bottle is amazing. I loved it. The shower was hot and the bathroom was clean. Excellent. The smell gave me a headache and I slept poorly because the ac had to stay on and stay cold to keep the smell at bay. The breakfast was a good break from the bleakness of the room. I guess what bothers me is it wouldn't take a whole lot to make some improvements. New carpet. Air purifier. I know there's more than a thousand rooms, but there's no way they're filling them all up at these prices. Just fix it up section by section.

A clean and nice hotel for a night near the airport before departing. The staff were mostly helpful and friendly.
However, amenities like places for food and convenience stores were terrible. The expo nearby was practically a ghost mall. Most stores close early or are expensive and have poor reviews (check Google Reviews).
I suggest grabbing your own food from the city centre before getting there.

It was a pleasant stay. Good location, easy access to transportation. Close to water front so we can enjoy morning walk and enjoy the view.
Room was nice, good for value for room size. Service was pleasant, room service frequently provided what we needed without being asked repeatedly.
Hopefully next stay we can get room with view to the sea.

Travelled with family of five, glad that i have booked this hotel with two separate rooms. Big and spacious rooms with separate living spaces considering Hong Kong hotel room sizes. On top of that. The view was perfect, unblock view of harbour though not the harbour. But for the price, it's super worth it. Was thinking of rebooking it for my next hong kong trip upon checking into the room, but unfortunately, I'm not available anymore.
It was indeed like other reviews have said. it's in the middle of the market with poultry stalls lining the street. But are you just touring that area or hotel lobby? At most, you will be spending like 5-10mins in out of the hotel to your destination of day (disneyland, oceanpark, etc), right? And like other reviews have mentioned, no toiletries (toothpaste toothbrush) provided, but lots of provision stores just outside of the hotel. Well, again, for that price, I have no complaints.
Do try out the local dimsum breakfast take out shop just opposite of the hotel. Super nice and budget friendly. For 30hkd, you get four Pan fried buns and fried bee hoon.
I'm definitely gonna book it again for my family the next trip.

Panda Hotel is a good choice if you want a comfortable stay in Hong Kong at a reasonable price. The location is convenient, just a short walk to the MTR and surrounded by shops and restaurants. Rooms are spacious for Hong Kong standards and generally clean. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Facilities include a gym, seasonal outdoor pool, and a shopping mall downstairs. Some areas of the hotel are a bit old, and the air conditioning can be tricky to adjust, but overall it’s a great value for money.
Perfect for families and travelers looking for convenience without spending too much.

My stay at Regal Hong Kong Hotel was fantastic! 🏙️ Booking the executive room was a game changer, granting us access to the fabulous Executive Club Lounge, perfect for relaxing with tea or coffee during the day and savoring a selection of spirits, red, and white wines at night. 🍷 The room was spacious, spotless, and offered stunning city views that made every moment special. 😍 The mini bar, refilled daily, was a delightful touch. The pool was refreshing and well maintained, and the gym had everything needed for a solid workout. 🏊♂️💪 Its prime location in Causeway Bay, just steps from the MTR, convenience stores, malls, and tons of restaurants, made exploring a breeze. Highly recommend this hotel for a luxurious and convenient stay! 🌍 #RegalHongKong #CityEscape
The place is very clean, quite and the staff are very accomodating. The bed is so good and comfortable. I highly recommended this place and this is one of my #1 choice of stay. Away from crowds, busy and noisy surroundings. The public transport is very accessible and there is a public market nearby which you can buy and cook your own food at the hotel , Mc'Dies and other restaurant are just around the corner. The hotel is near to Aberdeen and Ocean Park and even if you want to go to the beach, there is a bus stop near the hotel that you can hop in to go to deep water bay, repulse bay going down to stanley. There is also buses going to central and causeay bay and on the other side of the road are the buses going to the airport and macau ferry. The nearest MTR stn from the hotel is Wong Chuk Hang Stn.
I am currently pregnant and came back to Hong Kong to visit family before giving birth.
The hotel staff is very accommodating and considerate, they upgraded me to a hardwood floor room for better safety. The room is much bigger than a normal hk hotel room. Room services are available everyday and the cleaning ladies are very nice.
The environment is quiet and convenient, as there’s lots of restaurants just right downstairs in the shopping mall. Delivery is also available and can be picked up at the hotel 24 hours reception. I extended my stay 3 times 6+7+3 nights.

RRich7677We stayed for 4 nights,i booked 2 rooms for me and my sister. Location is good.near to bus stop and tram,10mins walk to causeway bay mtr. Hotel is clean.everyday has housekeeping service. Breakfast was average, everyday the same. But over all,we had comfortable stay.
YYong xiMy favorite hotel to stay in HK whenever I have business trip . Walking distance to HKCEC exhibition and super convenient lot of Eataries around. There is airport bus behind hotel. MRT is opposite of hotel walking distance 2mins .
GGuest UserIt is a good stay in the hotel— although the location is not perfect and it’s located a bit away from the town Centre, the hotel provides regular shuttle bus running throughout the day. the sea view room has magnificent view, and you will see the sunrise and dawn in front of you
OOsca ChoiOur experience at the hotel was truly wonderful, thanks to its spacious rooms with modern amenities, professional yet courteous service, and prime location near key attractions. With a few adjustments to the breakfast variety, our stay would have been flawless. While the morning meal featured high-quality, flavorful dishes, the selection was somewhat restricted. Expanding the menu to include more diverse options-such as plant- based or gluten-free choices-would better accommodate different dietary needs and preferences. That said, the staff's outstanding hospitality truly stood out. They were warm, welcoming, and proactive, often anticipating our needs, whether arranging transportation or recommending local gems. Their dedication elevated our stay, making it both relaxing and memorable. We'd gladly return and look forward to seeing how the hotel continues to refine its offerings!
GGuest UserReasonably clean but could tell the building was very old with a musty smell. You could say the decorations were quite vintage/old depending on how you look at it. Room was big for hk standards and staff was friendly. One thing to note is that they are cutting down on disposable amenities according to chinese regulations but some that are not provided can be bought from a vending machine in the gym. Wanted to buy a dental kit but the touchscreen pad said it was sold out although it was stocked.

CCoconut331It’s a nice and clean hotel, it’s slightly cheaper than the average price of 4-star hotels so it’s a choice for travellers who doesn’t want to live in 3-star hotels but at limited budget.
The room is a bit smaller than average, but at such price I won’t be unhappy about it. And it even came with free morning refreshments!
However, the water speed from the shower is very slow. And thank god the water is still hot - It’s still barely sufficient for me to get a shower but that would be one thing that I hope the hotel could improve on.
Overall speaking it’s not perfect, but undoubtedly great for its price, highly recommended for ppl travelling on a relatively tight budget.

AalccitronI've had one of the most frustrating stays I can remember. Even though I can't say it was really hotel's fault, just a bad sequence of events. When I first got into my room, the room had a bit of a smell.. nothing terrible, it's almost 30 years old hotel and well carpets etc. also the hotel doesn't provide drinking water and there is only a box of tissues in the bathroom. What was worse, was that wifi was very unstable, when I tried to contact front desk about it, I couldn't reach them because of the ridiculously long queue for check in or they wouldn't answer the phone. Also the toilet was a bit dodgy, but it mostly worked. In the morning at 5 some guests made really a lot of noise, so at 6 I came to the front desk to complain about all, because, well, there won't be queues at such time. The receptionist offered to change me to a different room. Few hours later, I wanted to take a swim, but the pool was closed despite sunny weather.. apparently the government issued a storm warning. At that time I just wanted a refund and leave the place, but they would refuse, just insist on the room exchange. I went out for the day and when I came back there was an hour-long queue at a reception desk, which I refused to join. I asked concierge for help, but the guy refused to help me and had really bad attitude. So after loud argument with the men, I stormed directly in front of the front desk and demanded my new room. They gave it to me in 30 seconds and after I called to fix the wifi, rest of my stay was actually pretty great. The harbour view from 31st floor is really nice, especially early in the morning.
All in all, if one expects a 4-star hotel, this is not it. However for a budget accommodation (as was the price I paid) it is more than nice.
WWei HianThe hotel is nicely located and a simple no frills hotel. All the basic amenities are well maintained. Good clean environment. Only gripe will be the all to simple breakfast.
