The stay was fantastic! The room was spotless and well-ventilated. The staff were polite and professional, offering attentive service. The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation access and a great variety of restaurants nearby. They even recommended some local attractions, which was a nice touch. I'll definitely be back!

I used to stay at the Shudu Mansion near Chunxi Road for business trips with my previous company. This time, revisiting the old stomping grounds, I opted for the City Celebrity Hotel near Tianfu Square. The location is excellent and transportation is convenient, with multiple subway lines converging and a 3-minute walk to the Tianfu Square subway hub. It's perfectly situated, adjacent to the Chengdu Museum, Science and Technology Museum, and People's Park. Chunxi Road, IFS, and Taikoo Li shopping districts are just one subway stop away on Line 2. Cultural landmarks like Kuanzhai Alley, Anshun Covered Bridge, Jiuyan Bridge, and Jinjiang Bar Street are also not far. It's a 15-minute drive to Chengdu East Railway Station, 25 minutes to Shuangliu Airport, and 1 hour to Tianfu International Airport. Although the City Celebrity Hotel is a bit old, its former luxurious charm is still evident. The rooms are spacious, facilities are complete, and sanitation is well-maintained. The service is good, and breakfast is decent. Multiple elevators are in operation, making access convenient. The key highlight is its high value for money.

We stayed in Meishan for a week for a sporting event. The hotel has clearly seen better days—especially compared to many newer properties in the area (aging lifts, worn carpets, etc.). We chose it mainly for three reasons: breakfast, gym/pool, and laundry facilities. 1. Breakfast The daily buffet was solid and met expectations. It featured a typical Chinese spread: hot stir-fried dishes, vegetables, meats, buns, dumplings, fried rice/noodles, porridge, plus a live station for dan dan noodles, eggs, and simple meats like sausage or ham. There was also a rotating Chinese dessert (e.g., red date with longan, green bean soup), along with some Western options like salad greens, yogurt, bread, cake, and fresh fruit. Since we stayed a full week, we appreciated the small variations. That said, we were surprised by the limited fruit selection—mainly oranges and watermelon—especially given the abundance of fresh fruit available locally. Breakfast vouchers are issued daily and must be presented before dining. 2. Gym & Pool This was the biggest disappointment. Both the gym and pool were completely closed, and the entire floor was gutted with no visible renovation activity. It looks like these facilities have been—and will be—out of service for quite some time. This was a major letdown, as it was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. 3. Laundry There is only one washer and one dryer for the entire building. We were concerned about availability, but only had to wait once. The 15-minute wash cycle helps with turnover. However, the dryer takes a long time and unfortunately shrunk all my cotton clothing. I’d recommend partially drying cotton items and then air-drying them in your room. Package Perks We booked through Trip.com, which included a small daily package: a plate with two oranges and some snacks, complimentary coffee or tea in the lobby, and a free transfer to the high-speed rail station (must be booked at the front desk one day in advance). There were also canned sodas included, which we didn’t use. Room & Noise We were initially assigned a room facing the plaza, which was very noisy. After requesting a change, we were first told the hotel was sold out—but after some persistence, a park-facing room was “found.” This room was significantly better: quiet, bright, and pleasant, with birdsong in the morning. We were told these were actually an upgrade, and that road-facing rooms are even worse due to constant traffic noise. 4. Smart Room Features (“Xiao Du”) We did enjoy the smart room system—“Xiao Du,” which works similarly to Alexa. It can control the curtains, TV, room temperature, and lighting, which is a nice modern touch. However, it was also a bit frustrating at times—for example, it would automatically turn off the lights in the bathroom sink area. The lighting there is already quite dim and not ideal for doing makeup. It would be helpful if the hotel could improve lighting around the mirror (brighter bulbs would make a big difference), or even better, install a mirror by the writing desk near the window where there is natural light. Smoking Smoking is allowed in the hotel, and we did notice it in the lobby, elevators, and corridors. Thankfully, our room itself was fine. Housekeeping turns off the AC and opens windows when cleaning, which seems to help ventilate lingering smoke. Location & Surroundings The hotel is in a convenient area. A nearby park is lovely, with traditional structures and inscriptions related to the Su family. Within a short walk is a lively commercial plaza with restaurants, bubble tea shops, salons (I tried a newly opened nail salon), and more. Getting around via Didi is easy. Overall For the price, the hotel offers decent value. However, the closed fitness facilities were a major downside. If we return, we’d likely try a newer hotel—but this one works if you prioritize cost and location over amenities.

I came to Chengdu specifically to relax and unwind. After visiting Mount Qingcheng, I returned to the city the next day and booked the Hyatt Centric Chengdu on a whim. It turned out to be an unexpected delight throughout my stay. I especially want to commend Xiaoyan and the several front desk ladies. Their service was friendly and professional. Check-in was efficient and smooth, and all my daily inquiries and requests were handled promptly and appropriately. They struck the perfect balance, avoiding unnecessary pleasantries and simply making me feel comfortable and at ease. The hotel's overall style is young and fashionable, with an excellent aesthetic. The public areas and guest rooms are designed to be clean and sophisticated, never feeling overly flashy or noisy, which perfectly suited my vacation and relaxation mood. The entire process from check-in to check-out was very pleasant, making for a great stay. I'll definitely prioritize choosing this hotel when I visit Chengdu again!

Stepping out, you can immediately dive into shopping, with a full range of fashionable brands, cultural and creative shops, and leisure establishments. This makes both relaxation and shopping incredibly convenient. Whether it's a short getaway or a business stay, your travel routes will be exceptionally smooth, and you won't have to worry about commuting hassles at all. My high-floor room was a delightful surprise. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered an expansive, boundless view, bringing the entire city landscape right into my sight. During the day, I could look down upon the sprawling buildings and intricate street networks, taking in the vibrant pulse of the city. As night fell, countless lights twinkled on, and the shimmering flow of lights unfolded before my eyes, allowing me to solely enjoy the romantic nightscape of the city. Just standing by the window dissolved all travel fatigue; the view and ambiance were absolutely top-notch. The in-room amenities were incredibly comprehensive. All the equipment was brand new and fully stocked, including smart home features, branded bathroom fixtures, high-quality bedding, and comfortable soft furnishings. The space was elegantly arranged and organized, with a thoughtful and practical wet/dry separation design in the bathroom. Everything was impeccably clean, and the hardware functioned flawlessly. It was quiet and peaceful during rest, striking a perfect balance between quality and practicality, so even a long stay wouldn't feel cramped. Downstairs and in the surrounding area, there's a rich and diverse food scene. Local specialties, exquisite Chinese cuisine, creative light meals, and unique snacks are all scattered around. The variety of cuisines is incredibly wide, with a rich, inviting aroma of local life lingering in the air. Finding meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was abundant, and I could savor diverse flavors without traveling far. Food lovers will definitely find it hard not to adore this place. What impressed me most was the exclusive butler service; their sense of discretion was just right. From check-in and luggage assistance to travel route inquiries and responding to daily needs, the entire process was meticulous and thoughtful. Their responses were prompt and gentle, proactively caring without being intrusive, fully balancing guests' privacy with an excellent service experience. The location, views, facilities, food, and service were all top-tier, offering both convenience and a high-end living experience. The next time I visit this city, I will definitely choose this place again. I sincerely recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable travel experience!

I chose the Vienna International Hotel Jiuzhaigou for my trip to Jiuzhaigou, and it was truly a comfortable stay. The hotel is set back from the road, so it's really quiet at night; you can't hear any cars, which is a huge relief for anyone who struggles with sleep. The room was very clean and well-maintained. We had a minor issue in the room, and as soon as we told the front desk, they came right away to fix it. They even followed up to ask if we needed anything else – the service was absolutely top-notch. Breakfast had a good variety of options. The most convenient part was the free shuttle to the scenic area in the morning, saving us the trouble of finding a ride or a taxi. They also have a laundry room and a gym, which is essential for travelers. Overall, it was a great experience.

Our stay at the Pushi Hotel near Chengdu's Kuanzhai Alley far exceeded our expectations, and a special thanks to the hotel's personal butler! Their responses were incredibly prompt, and any questions or requests were answered quickly, patiently, and thoroughly, making the service truly thoughtful and attentive. The hotel room was clean and comfortable, the environment was elegant, and the location was super convenient for getting around. Overall, our stay was very pleasant. The butler's meticulous and warm service added a lot to our family trip. We highly recommend it and will definitely choose to stay here again the next time we visit Chengdu!

A truly thoughtful hotel. From the front desk to room service, and the restaurant, every aspect made us feel right at home. The service was attentive and warm, the breakfast was rich and delicious, and the rooms were clean, bright, and well-designed. Initially, we only booked one night for two rooms, checking in late. To ensure we could stay on the same floor, the front desk upgraded us to a suite. We immediately decided to extend our stay for four nights. Our Chengdu trip was warm and pleasant, highly recommended!

I came to Chengdu to see the pandas and visit the Leshan Giant Buddha, and I really enjoyed staying here during my trip. The location is excellent, very close to IFS and Taikoo Li, with lots of shopping, restaurants and cafés nearby. The breakfast buffet was amazing, with a huge variety of choices. I especially enjoyed the Chinese food, including fresh pork dumplings made on the spot. There was so much to choose from, and breakfast was one of the highlights of my stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful whenever I needed assistance. I had a great experience here and would definitely recommend this hotel to other visitors to Chengdu.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is super convenient, within walking distance to Kuanzhai Alley, and there are tons of great food options like串串 (chuanchuan) and hotpot right behind it. Plus, there's a convenience store nearby. All in all, it's a very convenient place to stay! However, the cleanliness on the first day wasn't great, but after we talked to them, it was very clean from the second day onwards. Overall, it's still pretty good, and I'd choose to stay here again next time I'm in Chengdu.
