Located in Hiroshima's bustling commercial district, this hotel is right next to the bus center and Kamiya-cho Sogo department store, making it super convenient for shopping and getting around. The rooms are spacious, bright, clean, and tidy, with pleasant views from the window. Highly recommended!

Initially i wanted to book a hotel somewhere in the downtown. But the breakfast and the dinner here caught my eyes. Also the view of the inland islands. I stayed 2 nights here, I came from Fukuoka where my plane landed. The taxi fare from hiroshima station to the hotel is about 3000-3500 yen. There is free hotel shuttle bus but i did not take it. Also, there is public bus stopping right outside the hotel (which i found out later). Though the hotel is old, it is well kept and clean. The staff were very eager to assist the guests and there is always a smile on the face. I was given the 17th floor facing east. But the morning sun was too bright. Though it didnt matter much to me. Another reason i booked this hotel is they have speed boat counter for Miyajima island. I booked one way there as I have the JR pass for return and I have plans after. One way ticket from hotel to Miyajima is 2400 yen and return is 4500 yen. There is a convenience store in the hotel. But I believe they closes at 2200. Also, there is hot spring in the hotel. There is a usage charge for it, but i do not recall the price as i did not use. I went up to the bar on the 1st night. The view was great. Most importantly the price are reasonable too. For both days, i ate at the chinese restaurant for breakfast. 1st day was Japanese breakfast set. 2nd day was Japanese buffet style breakfast. They were delicious. The western and Japanese buffet breakfast at the top floor were very crowded. But they had more selections. For my return trip to Beppu, I used the concierge (bell desk) to send my big luggage to Fukuoka. The price was okay. I took the hotel shuttle bus go Hiroshima station. It was a pleasant ride. Do take note it is first come first serve and there’s a queue. I will stay here again, should I come back to Hiroshima. Thank you.

The single room was quite good; it was compact but still had enough space, which is pretty decent for a Japanese hotel. The best feature of the room was the abundance of power outlets everywhere – very modern and meets the current need for charging multiple devices. This definitely deserves a thumbs-up. Furthermore, it was clean and generally quiet, and one of the pillows was a memory foam pillow, which was a nice touch. Of course, the hotel's biggest advantage is its convenience, as it's directly connected to Hiroshima Station. If you exit the central passage's North Exit, turn left, and go to the end of the corridor, you'll find the hotel's second floor. Hiroshima Station itself is a major commercial hub with everything you could need, so it's incredibly convenient. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Hiroshima.

The location is incredibly convenient. The airport shuttle is right downstairs, and you can directly access the JR and Shinkansen stations from the second floor. Shopping and getting around are super easy. The hotel service is excellent. They have a happy hour every night from 5-7 PM with half-price drinks, and you can even order sushi and tempura at reasonable prices. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

The hotel's location is convenient, within walking distance to Peace Memorial Park, the Atomic Bomb Dome, and most attractions. It's also not far from Hiroshima Station and the main shopping street. The hotel is quite international, with Western staff at the lobby, making English communication very smooth. Of course, the front desk itself is also very efficient. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. Our reservation included breakfast and dinner, which offered great value for money. The breakfast was plentiful, with more Western options than other hotels, and the quality was excellent. The dinner selection was also extensive, but it didn't change much over several days, which became monotonous after a while. Perhaps booking without dinner would be a better option.

I've stayed at many Daiwa Roynet hotels, and the room amenities are always standard. However, I can't quite agree with this hotel group's obsession with bath comfort. The bathroom is excessively large, which makes the room too small – there's no space to even open a suitcase. The advantage of this particular location is its proximity to the Hiroshima Station Shinkansen exit, just a 5-minute walk. The downside is the air conditioning isn't very effective; it takes a long time to cool down, and it's even cooler in the hallway.

The hotel offers aesthetically impressive rooms that match the pictures, with the breathtaking view surpassing all expectations in person. The staff also provided excellent service in accommodating food intolerances. Unfortunately, the culinary experience was disappointing; the food was too mild and underwhelming for the price paid. Furthermore, the Onsen facility was inadequate: it lacked variety with only 2 warm pools and a steam sauna, offered no varying water temperatures (and the cold plunge pool was not cold enough). Additionally, the desired peaceful atmosphere was disrupted by having more of a socializing gathering in the onsen, which lowered the overall impression and value of the wellness area. In summary: excellent rooms but we would have expected more value for money regarding the food and spa.

After all, it's a high-end IHG hotel, so the facilities are very complete. Although the room isn't huge, it has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. There are many 24-hour convenience stores nearby, and it's also very convenient for dining and business meals. The front desk staff are warm and welcoming. If I travel to Changdao again for business, I'll definitely choose this hotel.

💯 The experience truly exceeded my expectations! The location is incredibly convenient, close to Hatchobori Station. Just a few steps outside and you have plenty of food and shopping options, and getting to attractions by streetcar is no problem at all. The biggest surprise was the in-room amenities – it actually included a private washer-dryer combo and a microwave! After a few days of travel, you don't have to accumulate a pile of dirty clothes; they come out clean and perfectly dry, which is so convenient. The room design is modern and clean, and the mattress is really comfortable. I highly recommend it for both solo travelers and those on longer trips. I'll definitely consider this place again next time I visit Hiroshima!

The hotel staff were all very kind, and the room was clean and comfortable. The most convenient thing was the free bus from the hotel to the station, which was very helpful after eating my way around Miyajima. I'd definitely stay at this hotel again.
