Facilities: The facilities are basically complete, with bathroom supplies, hairdryers, water cups, tableware, coffee machines, and toasters in the public areas. The only regret is that slippers are not provided.
Cleanliness: The cleanliness inside the room, corridors and public areas is very good.
Environment: The housing environment is great, the layout of the room is warm and comfortable, the house is located in a residential area, and the scenery after snow is very beautiful! ! (Look at the picture😄) The room is very close to the subway. You can enter the subway in about two minutes' walk. The transportation is very convenient. One disadvantage is that since the rooms are made of wood, the sound insulation is very poor. You can hear clearly any movement next door and upstairs and downstairs.
Service: I didn't see the owner during the entire check-in and check-out process. He only took the key from the combination lock. It was not very adaptable at first, and because I didn’t receive the room password, I had to call the host to confirm. If I need to ask any questions, I basically call them by phone (not very friendly to friends who are not good at English). But after getting used to it later, I felt that this was pretty good. There was no need to wait or socialize (I was very happy😄). This is a matter of opinion.
We stayed for two nights, and overall everything was good – clean, cozy, and comfortable. The location was convenient. The room didn’t have a full kitchen (only a microwave), but there is a shared kitchen for guests on the ground floor, which makes up for it. There was no sink for washing dishes in the room, only a dishwasher. This is fine overall, but running it for a single cup isn’t really an option, especially since there was only a minimal amount of dishware. The bathroom also lacked a toilet brush. One small detail: the blanket was arranged a bit unusually, like a “sandwich” with sheets around it instead of a proper duvet cover. These are minor points, but they could be improved for future guests.

Me and my mom enjoyed our stay here. It took us a while to find this and also took a while before we got the code for the lock. You really need to have a Canada number (which my mom has thankfully) to contact them so maybe not for E-sim users like me.
The unit was very nice and cozy. Automatic lock with a passcode so very convenient. Also they have a washing. And drying machine which was very helpful. They also provided the laundry pods as well.
Aircon and heating was good and the water pressure was good too. Very close to a lot of restaurants as well. I really loved my stay here with my mom😊
The location is so convenient. One can take metrobus800 which connects the city centre, the fall, supermarket Maxi, metro plus. It is a frequent route, easy to travel. The ground floor is still under construction, not so easy to walk. The building is without elevator, it may not be easy for all travellers. According to the description of the rooms, all rooms should be equipped with washer and dryer, however, the room assigned was without any wash and dry, we requested for a change. The person in charge helped change for us. There’s no room cleaning and tidy service throughout the three nights we stay. But everything looks new and clean. They provide sufficient tissues, toilet papers and washing tablets even. The building is close to the traffic, convenient but rather noisy somehow. The air conditioning was locked but lucky that these few days are not extremely hot. But it’s definitely quite hot and it won’t be that comfortable without air conditioning in hot weather.
It is a very good hotel, very close to the train station, the old city attractions can be visited on foot, the next day at 5:30 train, so I chose a room with no breakfast with kitchen, its kitchen utensils are complete, with various electrical appliances, very clean, comfortable to live, the price is reasonable, if you stay at night, You have to contact before check-in, otherwise you don't have a password and a specific room number to enter the shop. This is a hotel with no front desk service and a locked door. The first time you stay in such a hotel, you have no experience. You can try it!
The building is a bit old, but it's vintage and pretty! It was difficult to drag the carrier and climb the stairs myself, but the location was really good.
With a stay at Auberge l'Orpailleur in Val-d'Or, you'll be a short 3-minute walk from City of Gold and within 2 minutes by car from Pourvoirie du Rapide-Sept. This guesthouse is 1.2 mi (1.9 km) from Centre Air Creebec and 1.2 mi (2 km) from Theatre Telebec.
Take in the views from a terrace and make use of amenities such as complimentary wireless internet access.
Free self parking is available onsite.
Stay in one of 10 guestrooms featuring Smart televisions. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and digital programming is available for your entertainment. Bathrooms with bathtubs or showers are provided. Conveniences include separate sitting areas and coffee/tea makers, and housekeeping is provided daily.
All self served, easy access, free car park, but room is noisy cos it’s only 2nd floor, felt like next to the road, lots of bus/car and wind noise, no facilities but easy reach to mall nearby, location is good only if you are arrived by car, very smelly oily cooking smell flooded in room, I believe from the ventilation system from downstairs or flats cooking in the same building, very bad smell and choking and makes us hard to sleep. Few towel with stains and bedsheet felt like unchanged. Other than the above, it’s spacious but a little bit over priced.

GGuest UserAt the time of our visit, there were no frontdesk. We had to go to another motel to get the keys to the cabin. When ask questions, obviously they say they dont know anything. The guy sitting at the front desk seems to be uninterested to help. Once we got at our assigned cabin, i find the place to be very cute. Except, the front door was left open. Then we went inside, every single curtain missed pieces, privacy was so so. Then we realised that the back door (patio) cant be locked. So dont leave your belonging unsupervised. There were a lot...lot lots of bugs (spiders, mosquitos, other insects). Then, the tv does not work. We followed the instruction, but it showed on the tv that we have no access to this service. I guess they did not renew the subscription. Then the cherry on top, there is NO hot water. We took our shower in freezing water. Inside the cabine, there were some dishware, cooker, microwave, mini fridge, mini toaster, keurig coffee maker. I cant tell if it works because i didnt use any of it. The shower is very very small. If you are taller than 6ft your head will be over the shower, I am 5ft 100pounds and i barely had space to move in it. Oh well, the view on the Fleuve St-Laurent was nice.

GGuest UserAn absolutely beautiful property! Book this hotel if you want a boutique type experience with excellent service from absolutely all the staff, the most comfortable bedding, delicious breakfast and coffee. The furnishings are all custom made by local artisans and many of the original woodwork and fireplaces are intact. Just gorgeous! And steps away from the Chateau Frontenac, dining, walks along the Plains of Abraham and everything Quebec City offers. Thank you Paule and Raphaelle!
GGuest UserThis place has beautiful views, ask for the third floor. The balcony view is majestic in the morning. The shared bathrooms are not a problem during the week, I have not been there on the weekend but during the week I had no issues at all in fact, I was the only one in the bathroom every time I highly recommend this place for a soul reset. A beautiful walk close to the city and when you return to the hotel, beautiful views to soak in and enjoy creation.
SSelinda NgaiThe hotel is nice and clean. Their swimming pool was under repair but the hotel refunded CAD20 as compensation. We travelled with a child aged 7 months and they also provided a baby crib and kettle for us. The food at the restaurant was good and the staff were very nice. We had a pleasant stay there. Thank you.
GGuest UserHostess was extremely personable & a pleasure to deal with. Maison Rose is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed at. Everything within the Maison was wonderful including our petit dejeuner. Highly recommend & would return in a heart beat. I’m

GGuest UserI live in Building 8 of the wolf chalet room type. 2 rooms on the 2nd floor can observe the gray wolf on the opposite hill. There is a kitchen, living room, floor-to-ceiling glass on the first floor. There is dry wood next to the stove. The match is used to make fire. The wolf pack called several times at night, and occasionally a few jackals would walk past the floor-to-ceiling glass. It is said that there are more wolves gathered in Building 12 and 13.
