Staying in the special bed room of this Wanda homestay, the price is really high. After comparing several listings on Trip.com, this hostel stood out based on its reviews, and it fully lived up to my expectations. The photos are accurate and reflect the property exactly as it is. The host prepared the bed sheets and pillowcases right in front of me, which immediately reassured me about the cleanliness. Everything was spotless and well maintained. Cleanliness is one of my top priorities when choosing accommodation because I value my health, and I felt completely comfortable staying here. I saw no pests or anything unhygienic, so if you’re concerned about that, you can rest easy. The host speaks basic English and was very welcoming. Since I had just traveled from Hong Kong Airport to Shenzhen North, he even kindly offered to show me around the area. There are plenty of food options nearby, I enjoyed Lanzhou noodles and stinky tofu just steps from the building. For clarification, the hostel is located inside an apartment building and operates in a dorm-style setup. Shoes are removed at the entrance, and guest slippers are provided. There is a comfortable common area with a sofa and dining table, free drinking water, and complimentary toiletries including a toothbrush and disposable towel, which was especially helpful since I had forgotten to pack one. The bathroom is modern and equipped with a Western-style sit-down toilet. Each bed has its own privacy curtain and personal light, which I appreciated. There are also power outlets conveniently located at each bed. Wi-Fi worked smoothly without any issues, and free laundry is available, which is a great bonus for travelers. There are designated quiet hours, so you can sleep comfortably. During my stay, it was peaceful and no one snored. The host even asked whether I snore, which shows he is considerate of all guests. The other guests were polite and respectful. I was the only foreigner staying there, and the rest were Chinese travelers who were likely in the same situation, unable to secure train tickets that night. The property is non-smoking, which I also appreciated. The only minor downside is for taller guests. I am 183 cm (6 ft), and I had to curl up slightly since the bed length appears to be around 180 cm. It was manageable, but something to keep in mind if you’re tall. The location is very convenient. It’s next to the train station, and you can easily take the subway if you have luggage. It only cost me 2 RMB to ride, so there’s really no need to take a taxi. In the morning, I bought pork steamed buns and soy milk from a nearby vendor, he was friendly, and the food was great. For $4, this was outstanding value. If you’re looking for a clean, affordable, and convenient place to stay near Shenzhen North, this is an excellent option. They also offer stylish and elegant complimentary tea rooms, both large and small, for guests to relax and enjoy tea. The room's lights, air conditioning, curtains, and bathroom are all smart and very convenient to use. Cleanliness: If there's one outstanding feature of Huiyuan, besides its beauty and tastefulness, it has to be its impeccable cleanliness! It's the cleanest hotel I've ever seen. I stayed here for an exam at Huazhong Agricultural University, and despite the rainy weather, my second-floor room didn't feel damp or unclean at all. From the lobby to the room, everything was exceptionally spotless. Robot vacuums and cleaning staff were all diligently at work, meticulously cleaning the stairs and corridors. There wasn't a speck of dust in the room, no strange odors, and the solid wood furniture also had no unpleasant smell – very comforting! Environment: It's like a beautiful garden villa. The podocarpus trees, hydrangeas, lemon trees, orchids, ponds, and koi fish – all the plants and animals are so well-cared for. There are also several tea rooms on the first floor with a wonderful ambiance... Sitting there sipping tea and practicing calligraphy is one of life's true pleasures. The hotel owner truly has great taste and vision. Service: All the hotel staff are very gentle and approachable, making you feel right at home. On the first day, when I was checking in and about to go upstairs, the owner proactively helped me with my luggage. When I wanted to throw away some trash after lunch, the cleaning uncle told me to just give it to him. While I was exploring the courtyard, the room cleaning staff were also very enthusiastic and provided excellent service. The owner heard we were here for an exam and even offered to drive us there; all we had to do was tell the front desk the time. The next morning, on the day of the exam, the owner punctually drove us. He said he does this for all guests taking exams, as long as they inform him in advance. Waking up to a full panoramic view of the ocean right from my bed was incredibly soothing and therapeutic. 🏠 I chose this beachfront villa, located right on the first row of Jiaoweichang. It offered unobstructed sea views, meaning I could watch the ocean and sunrise 🌊 without even leaving my room. Perfect for a lazy summer escape! It's also super convenient, with the beach right outside and plenty of dining options nearby. 🛋️ The suite itself was very spacious, featuring two floor-to-ceiling windows. From one window, I could enjoy the sea view directly from my bed, and there's also a private hot spring tub 🛁 where I could soak while gazing at the ocean – truly delightful. The other window overlooked a beautiful view of the mountains and city, with a tatami area perfect for enjoying tea 🖼️, which offered a unique charm. The room facilities and cleanliness were top-notch. They even provided a coffee bar, snacks, drinks, and a sleep kit with a steam eye mask, making for a very comfortable stay. Every spot here is picture-perfect 🖼️, from the 'Sky Mirror' to the private ocean-view hot spring and the swimming pool... every corner feels designed for photography, and any shot you take turns out amazing. It's ideal for family trips, couples, or solo travelers looking to unwind. Plus, the guesthouse offers a travel photography service, so even if you're traveling alone, you don't have to worry about getting great photos. Very dirty place. The common area for the ladies was full of trash, tables dirty and the bathroom dirty. The beds were hard, matresses very thin and for a tall person above 1.72m it is not advisable. They also have shelves at the head of the beds so if you are talles you will slam your head in those. The balcony was full of dirt and people's clothes. It was very hard to find and the front gate was locked and had to spend good amount of time with the security guards until they understood that I have a reservation. Basically these are big apartment buildings so some rooms will be in complex B, others complex C. The receptionist were kind but very disorganized. People in the common area were super unfriendly and actually rude. All in all, I don't recommend this place.

The B&B, named 'Zen', truly lives up to its name – it's incredibly quiet and peaceful, a perfect place for introspection. Our little one had an absolute blast here. It was the perfect ending to our Chinese New Year trip! The service, whether from the older lady or the younger woman, was absolutely wonderful and incredibly warm-hearted. They were so thoughtful, and we'll definitely be staying here again on our next visit.

Absolutely loved this bamboo forest courtyard! It's an immersive experience, nestled within acres of bamboo. The rainy day ambiance was simply divine. As soon as I stepped into the courtyard, I was enveloped by lush greenery. The drizzle pattered on the bamboo, the leaves rustled, and the air was filled with the fresh, damp scent of vegetation – so peaceful and therapeutic. The glamping tent accommodation had a wild luxury feel, and the private courtyard offered complete privacy. Inside, it was clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding. Hiding in the tent on a rainy day, listening to the white noise of rain on bamboo leaves, created a truly wonderful atmosphere. The environment is tranquil and elegant, far from the city's hustle and bustle. The owner provided thoughtful and attentive service, making the entire stay from check-in to check-out completely comfortable. The bamboo forest on a rainy day had a unique charm, misty and ethereal, with swaying bamboo shadows. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind, whether you're seeking solitude or a gathering with friends. It's already on my list for a second visit, highly recommended!

This beautiful hotel is right next to Akanantara Resort. The room was clean and spacious, and it even had a sea-view balcony with a bathtub! The surrounding scenery was truly stunning, and we appreciated the complimentary drinks and fruit. It's a shame the weather wasn't good enough to catch a gorgeous sunset 🌅. We'll definitely come back with family next time.

When I booked, the front desk informed me that there would be some noise due to renovations next door, but they were very welcoming and upgraded my room to one with a balcony and a soaking tub. The room was super clean, and the bed was really comfortable. There's a mini-fridge in the room, and the mini-bar snacks are complimentary. They also gave us breakfast vouchers, and the breakfast was delicious. The views are amazing, and it's super convenient for activities – the beach is right there, and there's a really photogenic cafe. Plus, there's a kids' club and a pet park. The beach has crystal-clear water, like a 'glass sea.' I can't wait to come back in the summer to swim! You could easily spend a whole day and night here. Nearby, there's Egong Bay, which is also worth visiting. Honestly, I think staying two nights wouldn't be a problem at all. I'll definitely be back next time! I do have one small suggestion: the soaking tub isn't very private. It's visible from many angles. It would be even more perfect if the hotel could add a movable screen that guests could use for privacy if needed. 😊
