With the high temperatures in Suzhou and Hangzhou, this is a great escape to the heat in the northwest, featuring a lovely guesthouse village. Nan'an is the largest guesthouse complex in the area, with 40 rooms out of a total of 100. This time, we stayed at Taojiaying West House, with a swimming pool in front and a farm/ranch/ranch in the back – very pleasant. The room details were also very well done, suitable for large families or groups of friends. Both restaurants in the village are good for breakfast: 🌻Xiangke (more variety), 🍜Lao Wang Ji Breakfast & Midnight Canteen. Special praise to Nan'an's management team, including Da Yuan and her group; they communicated with us before our arrival and were very attentive. During our stay, our drone got stuck in a tree in the yard, and the management team helped us find a solution from evening until morning, finally fixing it with a tree trunk over ten meters long. - Climb the Great Wall (five-minute climb to the top) for panoramic views of the Yellow River and the village. - Feeding lambs, riding camels, milking goats. I call it the Yellow River version of ”Wuzhen Village”; the entire village has an integrated design with a Mediterranean feel, perfect for photos.

A very artistic homestay with a very tasteful decoration style. Every decoration is just right, and even the breakfast is so exquisite. There were only two breakfasts originally, but we brought children with us, so the boss made a special breakfast for children, which was so thoughtful! There is also a beautiful souvenir. Although it was opened in 2018, the whole homestay does not seem to be old, and it is still as new. It is a great experience. I recommend it to friends!

Watching the Milky Way from inside a desert tent was an amazing experience! We played in the sand and went sandboarding during the day, and enjoyed a bonfire and fireworks display at night – the atmosphere was incredible. The owner was very punctual with pick-up and drop-off, and the ability to shower in the desert was a pleasant surprise. The photos were amazing, I'll definitely come back!

The facilities are clean, convenient and practical, and the environment is beautiful. Hygiene is also quite clean The service staff were very enthusiastic and very nice. Everyone had a great time.

This self-guided desert tour is absolutely amazing! The desert scenery is majestic and magnificent, and the afterglow of the setting sun shines on the golden sand dunes, as beautiful as a painting. The campsite facilities are complete and the staff are warm and caring. The food is diverse, the roasted whole lamb is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the aroma is overflowing. Camel riding, sand boarding and other activities are super exciting. Moreover, the self-guided itinerary is free and allows you to deeply experience the charm of the desert. Highly recommended, looking forward to coming again next time!

Staying in a tipsy dreamland at the foot of Helan Mountain – this guesthouse was the most pleasant surprise of my Yinchuan trip! It's located right in the Helan Mountain Eastern Foothill Wine Region of Ningxia, and you can feel the rich wine country atmosphere just by looking out the window. I booked the 'Cloud Dye' King Room, and the decor was incredibly stylish, especially the tea room setup. With the afternoon sun streaming in, sipping tea here and gazing at the scenery outside made time feel like it slowed down. The smart room control and Serta mattress made for an exceptionally sweet night's sleep. The most noteworthy highlight has to be the complimentary wine tasting and winery tour! As a complete beginner to wine, this was a real eye-opener. Not only did I get to taste delicious wines, but I also took many beautiful photos. Plus, there's a pick-up and drop-off service, which is incredibly thoughtful for travelers with luggage – no need to worry about transportation at all. The butler service also gets full marks; their response speed was super fast, and any request was resolved immediately. Coupled with a hearty and abundant breakfast, it was a truly complete accommodation experience.

Pushing the door to see the sand sea, sleeping with the stars. Qingming even ate 2 days of sandstorms. The weather was so good on the last day of the holiday. Suddenly I didn't want to rush home and find this homestay. The service was super intimate. The butler contacted in advance to confirm the arrival time, guided us to park our car and sent us directly to the door of the room. Drive us to see the bonfire party and fireworks show at night, and then walk back in the desert at night, looking up at the stars. In the morning, you can see the golden sand dunes rolling and rolling. You can walk to the desert for 5 minutes. The sandboard is free to borrow. The children play in the afternoon and the whole liberation of their mother.

Before I went, I looked at the pictures very beautiful. Because of temporary overtime, it was dark at the hotel and missed the sunset, but I was shocked by the warm lights and stars of the hotel. It was really like a fairy tale cabin! ! The toiletries in the room also smelled good lavender! Although I can’t pick grapes in winter, there is no bonfire. The weather is a bit cold, but it’s worthwhile to see this beautiful starry sky. I also met our Dali fellow sister here. It’s really not easy to meet fellows in Yinchuan. I hope I have the opportunity to find you again in the future! My friend also gave a ”northwest is much more fun than the northeast” evaluation. Overall, the experience is very good. The room is very beautiful and warm. The hot red wine is very delicious. The breakfast is exquisite and delicious. I look forward to picking grapes in summer and autumn! !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this family run guesthouse. There is a lovely courtyard where you can relax and meet other guests. The breakfast was delicious. The decorations around the property are beautiful. The room was large, clean and well equipped. Our lovely host helped organise our taxi to the forest park, as well as our onward bus journey to Pingliang. We highly recommend this homestay.

Sit quietly in the folds of time, and listen to the hourglass chanting like a sutra, healing the cracks in this world. Dusk spreads over the ridges, and fireflies mend the sky. The wind-eroded promise turns green again on the grass tips, and when the new moon rises, it reunites in the sparkling waves - that is the unsealed secret language of heaven and earth, the star falling on the fingertips of Buddha.
