The atmosphere is simply divine, a photographer's dream! The courtyard's ambiance is incredible! With blue skies, white clouds, and beautifully carved beams and painted pillars, every photo you take looks amazing. Relax in the courtyard and order a sweet tea, juice, or coffee to enjoy a leisurely afternoon tea. Paired with authentic yak yogurt and cheese dregs, your taste buds will experience the unique flavors of the plateau. 🎁 Must-Enjoy Guest Perks: ✅ Free ******* attire experience (10:30-22:30), can be worn out to explore the ancient city. ✅ 10 complimentary retouched photos from a courtyard photoshoot (makeup and styling at your own expense). ✅ Free entry to the Gesar Gyalpo Museum. ✅ High-altitude amenity gift pack in your room: face masks, hair essential oil, makeup remover wipes, wet wipes. ✅ Free sweet tea in the courtyard. 📍 Prime Location: Right on the Barkhor Street Kora (pilgrim's circuit), just a 3-minute walk to Jokhang Temple. Beautiful hotel that still preserves its historical architecture with modern luxuries. We enjoyed the heated floor (it's so comfortable to walk around) and the oxygen machine (a lifesaver when we just reached Lhasa!). Special thanks to Guest Service staff - 次塔 for coordinating breakfast and housekeeping with us throughout our stay, and for helping to safekeep our forgotten item when we checked out! Her warm hospitality helped us ease into the high altitude environment more easily! Oh and don't forget to try the Indian restaurant within the hotel - it's extremely delicious and the price is affordable! We hope to return soon!

Owner are very friendly & helpful to provide extra service to support my beautiful experience. When the couple is so kind to suggest the best available way to go to airport & make me save money. At the same time the suggestion me to go one hot spring which to me is an unforgettable memory. Before I left, they gave me gift (unscented sticks & post card is totally out of my expectation. Helping me to carry my luggage’s are completely 5 stars hotel experience….hehe….🥰 I felt the whole hospitality is so wonderful & unforgettable to be. So grateful for the owners & met beautiful people there too. 🙏🌹🥰

This Lhasa trip led me to an incredibly pleasant surprise: a hidden gem of a Tibetan-style hotel. It was a perfect, flawless experience! The moment I walked in, I was enveloped by a rich, authentic ******* atmosphere. Exquisite handcrafted ******* doors and windows, alongside handmade wool ******* rugs, complemented by the soothing aroma of ******* incense, created an elegant and solemn space brimming with ethnic beauty. The lobby was clean and refined, and every photo I took looked like it belonged in a magazine, offering a truly immersive experience of snowland ******* culture. The entire room was equipped with an oxygen concentrator, so there was absolutely no need to worry about altitude sickness upon arriving at the plateau, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, the bathroom was clean and odor-free, and the 24-hour hot water supply was stable and ample. A humidifier and comprehensive toiletries were all provided. This hotel perfectly blends traditional ******* elegance with modern, high-end comfort, balancing both aesthetics and practicality.

This quaint Tibetan-style hotel is located just inside Barkhor Street. It is very convenient to the Jokhang Temple and the Potala Palace. There are also many delicious shops nearby. The proprietress is very welcoming. I originally booked another hotel, but because it couldn't accommodate people from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, I changed to this Babao Hotel, and I was very satisfied with the result.

Exceeding expectations, the boss is very good, before going to expect that the accommodation environment near Everest may be general, but this is clean and hygienic. The self-service hot pot is also delicious. The boss is also very enthusiastic, although the moon was too bright on the day we went, we couldn't see the stars. In the morning, customers will also be taken to see the sunrise. The staff will also help us with our luggage

Hotel location is very good, it is convenient to take a taxi from the road. The decoration is also beautiful and distinctive. I didn’t expect that there is an elevator that is very comfortable. The room is also clean and furnished with Tibetan characteristics. I think there is one thing to pay attention to. The floor is not very good. There is a section of the floor (in the scope of the bed) that is made of thick wooden boards. I think it is a natural feeling. Suspense is good, but maybe due to the cost, these boards are very rough and there are a lot of nails left on them. If you like to walk barefoot, you may step on this. Some nails (the tip of the nail is in the eye, so it may be uncomfortable to step on the middle). These manipulating boards I don't know if barefoot will be a thorn. I suggest that the hotel pour a thin layer of transparent glue on these wood. I have seen other hotels do it with this women's toilet. This looks still very primitive, but there is a certain guarantee for customers. I believe the cost will not be expensive because it is only a small range. The main thing is more safe.

The location is very close to the Princess Wencheng Theater, the Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, and the popular S-shaped bay. The staff were friendly, the bedding was comfortable, and the environment was quiet; I slept until 10 am. The two puppies were adorable.
