Homestays in Aceh, Indonesia

The hotel was centrally located in the city. However, the hotel really need major renovations as it looked so worn out and like abandoned place. The walkway to my room looked like it hasn’t been cleaned and maintained properly especially the carpets (refer attached photo below). Inside the room, the toilet was not really clean. There were many black stains on the toilet bowl and the room’s floor had many dusts. The breakfast provided was not a buffet but just a very simple a la carte mea. The receptionist wasn’t there all the time and you need to wait for some time (more than 5 minutes) after press the bell before they entertain you. Overall, this is gonna be the first and last I am staying at this hotel. Not recommended.

I had a great stay at this hotel .The staff were very helpful and friendly. They even assisted me with booking a motorbike. The hotel was clean. After I check out,the staff kindly allowed me to store my luggage at the reception.This gave me the oppurtunity to explore Banda Aceh before my scheduled ferry to Sabang at 4pm. Overall, the hotel was great .

Hotel environment has nothing to say Restaurant spa has also experienced it very good The only thing that is not satisfied is that the introduction of the room is not clear, and a fan room is booked. If there is no air conditioning in Southeast Asia, it is really a crime (this problem has been reported to Trip.com add room instructions)

Before that I stayed at Freddy's, which is top class in comparison. We booked a cottage, above all praise. The place is beautiful, well-groomed, clean. The bed is huge, comfortable, gigantic bathroom with everything that should be there. The staff is top notch, the food is excellent and varied. Pizza, fries, etc., plus local dishes for every taste. The administrator resolved all issues, such as changing dollars when exchangers were not working (Chinese New Year), organizing a taxi for the ferry, buying tickets for the ferry, renting a scooter, etc. One thing lets me down: the sea is not very swimmable, shallow and the bottom is so-so, but the beauty of the place outshines everything and the scooter solves all problems.

Hot water for drinking does not work. Breakfast is not according to the arrival time. The bathroom has a lot of hair stuck in the water drain.

Excellent trip! food,room,staff,guests and so on…Everything is so nice. We had a big problem but the owner Wiwi solved smart and gently. She is such a good owner. We definitely will come again here. Thank you.
