"It was a pleasure to stay here. We spent 3 months in Thailand and 3 days in Houayxay, but we never experienced a European standard like this for a similar price. The road up to the accommodation might be challenging for older people with their luggage. However, to be fair, the hotelier helped me with my 30–40 kg backpack and transported it on his motorcycle – thank you very much for that! The room itself is spacious and very clean. And the bed… just amazing to sleep in! The breakfast was also delicious: dragon fruit, banana, watermelon, a variety of eggs (fried, boiled, omelet), four slices of bread, butter and pineapple jam, as well as coffee or tea. Thank you for everything you did for us and for your great hospitality 🙏🏼"

GGuest UserPHASOUK GUESTHOUSE is a newly opened, family-owned guesthouse with clean, comfortable rooms and brand-new facilities. Please note that staff have limited English proficiency. However, you are welcome to contact the owner via WhatsApp if you need any assistance or information during your stay. She is friendly and will be happy to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. Especially, every rooms have window with good views. I recommend this guest house for staying at Muag Xay.

225iiii25I think it's a good place to stay overnight at Park Ben while traveling alone. The bed was clean and gave me drinks, shampoo, body soap and toilet paper. However, the shower and toilet of the person staying in the dormitory were in the same private room, which was a bit inconvenient. There was no air conditioner! But there were some big fans and it was cool enough. Oh, I forgot the hair dryer, but when I told the staff, he was willing to lend me. Thank you very much!

GGuest User+ Amazing view I recommend it! It was really -Very good location sunset point, river views offer Mekong and a hearty breakfast in the morning. A unique view of the Mekong River from the terrace in front of the room. Possibility to see elephants on the other side of the river.free pickup from the pier to hostel and drop off.

FFanhaikoGreat place, extremely relaxing in this month of April. Being outside the tourist season and in an extremely hot period we were able to take advantage of the swimming pool, great on the banks of the Mekong. It's actually not very far from the main street of Pakbeng. We were even able to see the elephants bathing opposite. If you stay long enough, go and spend some time at Mekong Elephant Park, it's a magnificent project.
