Homestays in Gandaki, Nepal

An excellently located guest house. Just off the main road in central Lakeside yet so calm and peaceful. Quite unbelievable really. Beautiful gardens, spacious rooms and 2 min walk to the best section of the lake in this area. Pratigya, one of the owners, helped me decide what trekking route to take and recommended some cool extra sections that turned out to be big highlights for me. She helped, advised and booked everything from buses, permits, taxis and masseuses and made sure I had her number for in case I ran into problems on my trek. As a solo female traveler this was extremely comforting. When I come back to do one of the treks that can only be done with a guide I will be contacting her and her husband. I highly recommend Yeti guest house and especially the owners / hosts.

I stayed at this hotel for three days. Overall, the experience was good, but there were some caveats. The hosts were very nice and friendly, always willing to help. Breakfast is included—pretty basic, but perfectly adequate for a good start to the day. The room is budget-friendly, with a water cooler downstairs and hot water. A few downsides: the room only had a fan, and I couldn't figure out how to control it—I couldn't adjust the speed. The most unpleasant part was that on the second night, I encountered cockroaches: I saw several in the room and in the bathroom. This, of course, greatly impacted my comfort. This was only the second such incident in my travels through Southeast Asia (eight countries in six months), but it still left a bad taste in my mouth. In summary: budget accommodation with good hosts and basic amenities, but the presence of insects is a serious drawback worth considering.

Very good accommodation with a great location and a great price . Very close to Tourist Bus Park, so it's very convenient for arriving and leaving to/from Pokhara. The host is great - very helpful and responsible. If you need anything, including tickets, advice, or anything else - just ask him, and everything will be done, and without an extra fee. )) The room is clean, and the bed is good. But early in the morning, it was a little bit noisy from outside. But it's usual in Asia. )))

Owner was. Dry obliging and welcoming / the room was fine and has great views of city and Himalayas in the back. It’s very well located as well. I like this hotel a lot

Easily accessible amenities and the location of the hotel is also very good. Had a good time.

Because I checked in early, the cheap room I had booked was not available and I changed it to a good grade room for free. The size, cleanliness, hot water and water pressure in the shower were sufficient! I could see Machapchale from the rooftop. I want to stay again.

Prime location, exceptional cleanliness, below average breakfast. Overall good experience but maintenance is needed

For the third time I reserve, everything is perfect! I would come back!
