TravelifeJoThe hostel offers some conveniences but overall, I would rate it 3/5. Its location is a major advantage, with a shopping center and supermarket just a 5-minute walk away, making it easy to access essentials.
However, the experience was marred by several issues. The hostel was difficult to find due to the lack of clear signage, which was frustrating upon arrival. Additionally, the noise insulation was very poor—I could hear footsteps and movement from upstairs throughout the night, which severely impacted my sleep and caused insomnia.
While the hostel has potential, these issues need to be addressed to improve the overall experience. It’s a suitable choice for budget travelers prioritizing convenience, but light sleepers may want to consider other options.

Because it is off-season, the Youth Hostel does not provide catering services, so it seems a bit troublesome. Lofoten public transportation is inconvenient, it is recommended to drive here. The Youth Hostel has a shared kitchen and the kitchen is fully equipped. The wooden room is a bit poorly soundproofed, but fortunately there are not many people staying in the off-season, so there is basically no impact. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is good.

Guest UserA very charming hotel located in a small village right on the fjord. We had an apartment with a living room, bedroom, and a private bathroom. The living room had everything we needed, and the staff even provided salt upon request. The kitchen was fully equipped. The only downside was that everything was quite old – the fridge was antique, the kitchen looked dated, and the lamp on the wall above the stove was coming loose. However, it offered a wonderful view of the mountains and the fjord, and there was a private table outside the door to our room. A sauna was available nearby (for an additional charge). Ground coffee for the coffee maker was provided, but there was no tea or sugar.
Additionally, there's a great spot for breakfast/dinner – a large table and chairs with an excellent grill, all sheltered from rain and wind.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
