The hostel exceeded my expectations. Could not relate to the bad reviews about permanent residents dirtying up the place. I didn't encounter any of them. But I did stay in winter, so maybe there were less people. The common area is huge and comfortable. There's a water dispenser in the common area, and also a large collection of beer and drinks. The room can be a little small, but it's sufficient. I've stayed in worse places. The locations is also perfect. Just a stone's throw away from Nanjing Road, and 5 min walk from People's Square station. I see no reason why I would not stay here again.

I stayed here for 1 day and found everything very new, the garden was beautiful and there was a cute cat. But my room is a bit dark, has no windows and it's quite difficult to breathe, but I usually go out to play and only come back to sleep at night so that doesn't affect me. 4.9/5

The situation in the room, the bed is relatively wide, very soft and comfortable, each bed has a curtain, privacy protection is very good.

I have seen a lot of youth hostels, this is the most cost-effective one. I was afraid of poor hygiene before I came here. I didn’t expect it to be very clean. The bathroom is a public bathroom outside, but the aunt cleaned it quite cleanly. The quadruple room has relatively small space. But it’s perfectly fine to come out and stay for a while. There are clothes rails on the bed and cabinets, enough for stuff! Newly renovated, so the sheets and covers are very new, very satisfied!

This is the best youth hostel I have ever stayed in. The location is very easy to find. The famous Changli Road Food Street in Shanghai is nearby. There are obvious signs on the side of the road. Follow the signs and take the elevator to the fifth floor. After entering the door, there is a hall with many chairs and various books to read. There is also a sun room with light on all sides and tables and chairs for rest. There is a pavilion on the roof, and the ground is artificial turf. The environment is quite good. The quilt is too small to cover my feet, which seriously affects my sleep experience.

Good location, downstairs is the platform, about 7 or 8 minutes walk is the subway station. There is a first floor accommodation upstairs, the management is very good, there are terraces before and after, drinking and chatting is very comfortable. The young lady at the front desk and the younger brother will help you ask anything. The air conditioning in the room is also very powerful for such a hot three days. In short, it is a good place to stay in Shanghai.
