Highly recommend! Before heading to Hong Kong, I stayed a few days in Shenzhen at the Amy All-Female Youth Hostel, and it was an excellent choice: 1) Extremely clean; the aunties cleaned very thoroughly. 2) All the ladies were incredibly quiet and considerate, even in the 10-bed dorm I stayed in. 3) The common area is spacious and perfect for relaxing, using the internet, and so on. 4) The front desk staff were all very warm and friendly. 5) Oh, and the coffee is good too! I had a black coffee every morning for only 7.9 RMB – great value for money. 6) It's right next to the subway station, with plenty of dining options nearby. 7) They provide disinfected slippers and disposable toiletries, and the toiletries in the bathroom are also brand-name products.

The environment is beautiful, with an endless expanse of blue ocean right outside the window. The air is so fresh, and it really lifts your spirits! The room was clean, tidy, and cozy. Dining was convenient. After dinner, I hit the hotel gym, worked up a good sweat, and then came back to the room for a refreshing shower before falling into a deep, beautiful sleep!

I usually never bother to write reviews for accommodations, but after having a simple lunch for over 100 RMB in Huaqiangbei today, I suddenly felt compelled to review the Qiyou Hostel where I'm staying. For just 88 RMB a night, it's not only clean, comfortable, and has warm, attentive service, but it's truly a condensed five-star hotel experience. The lobby is spacious and bright, and they offer free freshly ground coffee – yes, free! Many five-star hotels I've stayed in don't even offer complimentary freshly ground coffee! They also have free tea, direct-drink hot and cold water, and separate male and female rest areas. The guests all seem very respectful; the lounge area is really quiet. The sleeping pods are incredibly comfortable too; the bed is spacious enough, there's air conditioning, a locker for personal items, and hooks to hang things. Everyone in the sleeping area also has a locker that can fit a large suitcase. The lovely front desk staff told me that if I have a lot of luggage, I can store it in their baggage room. They have a wide selection of books available for free loan. In the evenings, you'll see groups of guests sitting in the lobby, chatting softly – many foreigners, men and women, old and young, all looking very relaxed. Besides not providing disposable toiletries, they offer everything else a star-rated hotel would. Oh, and you can buy toiletries and other common necessities from the vending machine in the lobby, and the prices are very reasonable. You can tell the owner genuinely cares. Highly recommend!

I've stayed in both the single room and the quadruple room, and honestly, the single room wasn't great... As soon as I walked in, there was this strong smell of sweat, which was really off-putting. Then, after my shower at night, someone nearby was smoking, and the smell got ****** into my room through the ventilation fan. The air conditioner is way too close to the window, so no matter what, it blows directly on your head. If you turn it on, it's breezy; if you turn it off, it's hot. Plus, the room was incredibly damp, with condensation everywhere. And I'm not sure if it was a leak from the neighboring bathroom or my own, but there was a mysterious puddle of water in my toilet. The bedding was really good though. Next time, I'll probably book the quadruple room or a capsule bed instead. The room's layout and the odd temperature/humidity just made for a strange experience.

1. This four-story hostel is incredibly well-organized, with each floor and area having distinct functions, creating a clear and efficient separation. Luggage is stored outside the rooms, which helps maintain a quiet environment and excellent hygiene. 2. The hostel is very clean, and the mattresses are super comfortable. 3. The front desk provides common medications and feminine hygiene products. The bathrooms are also stocked with hair ties, sanitary pads, and other essentials. There's a vending machine for disposable travel items, a dedicated sterilizer for slippers, and even an iron available for use. Overall, this hostel feels very professional and incredibly thoughtful in its attention to detail.

Overall, this is probably the best hostel I've stayed in so far. 1. Great location, very close to the high-speed train station and border crossing. You can get there by bike, and taxis are also convenient as it's right by the road. Downstairs, there are claypot and BBQ restaurants. 2. The staff at the front desk are amazing – they can cook, play instruments, and often organize movie nights, late-night sweet soups, coffee, simple meals, and more. 3. The interior environment is excellent. There's a common dining area, gym, a dedicated slipper area, bright and clean bathrooms and rooms. It's gender-separated, with a separate vanity room for women. You switch into your own slippers upon entry, and you get your own individual pair every day. 4. They also have private rooms, excellent private rooms! 5. They're open to suggestions, like having self-forming English corners. 6. No age discrimination, hahaha, I'm a 'big youth' of over 400 months old.

The hostel is friendly and there are lots of international guests. The staff were kind and very helpful. The location is great, with popular tourist sites nearby - maybe 20min walk from Beijing street and a 5min walk to the metro. The female 4-bed dorm room was nice, with a spacious and comfortable bed with a curtain, and a cupboard/locker each, and aircon. The lobby/communal area was colourful and quirky with a pool table and lots of chairs and tables. It was a bit messy in some areas with piles/boxes around, and the kitchen was quite dirty and always had food and dishes left out and in the sink so I didn’t feel very comfortable using it. There is a washing machine to use for a small fee but when I was there most of the coat hangers and places to hang clothes were taken so it can be difficult to find places to dry clothes. Overall it was good but I wish some of the guests would be more thoughtful and respectful of others.

We recently stayed here for two months for a business trip with about 10 people. It took my boss 2-3 days to find this hostel, and we were all really happy with it. It's quiet yet conveniently located. The common area is super comfortable, and the shower water pressure is great and relaxing. The owner even provided good quality shower gel, shampoo, and toilet paper. The washing machine and dryer were reasonably priced to use. Honestly, it felt just like staying in a mid-range hotel, and the cleanliness of the bedding even surpassed some! The owner was always accommodating and helpful. A big thank you to the owner for taking care of us for a whole month. I specifically wanted to leave this good review to commend them.

The room was well-equipped, and the Wi-Fi signal was good. The owners were a very nice family, the room was very clean, there was plenty of hot water for showering, and the courtyard was decorated very warmly. I would definitely stay here again next time!

The location is fantastic! The subway station is right downstairs, and a bustling commercial street is just across the road, making it super convenient for getting around and dining. The room was spotlessly clean, and the front desk staff were incredibly kind and helpful, promptly resolving any issues we had. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shenzhen! The owner mentioned they have weekly activities every May, which sounds pretty cool. I happened to be there on a Saturday and got to watch a movie with other guests, haha!
