I had a flight with an overnight layover in Qingdao, so I opted to stay locally in a hotel.
'Locally' meant riding two stops on the subway, and catching the bus for two stops which altogether cost me less than £1. Probably about $1 US, or €1.
However, I had to wait a while for the bus, so it took me about an hour.
Upon arrival, the landlord treated me like a king and was exceptionally helpful.
I can speak Chinese, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless people can speak a little Chinese and can read basic sentences.
The hotel is fairly basic but, as I said, the proprietors are extremely accommodating and told me to ask if I needed anything.
The landlord showed me where to eat locally (and physically took me there!) and when I left, he showed me where the nearest bus stop is (photo).
I couldn't make the hot water work for a shower, but had I asked I'm sure they would have sorted it.
I was in a bit of a rush in the morning and I didn't want to make a fuss.
The bed was hard (like I Chinese prefer) but I slept well.
There was no kettle in the room, but boiling water was provided.
The area is out in the country, so if you want to see how ordinary Chinese live, this is a good opportunity.
City hotels are quite westernised but this place is authentic Chinese.
Pictures are of the bus stop and the subway station. Although I was told that a taxi might only cost me a little over a pound.

Guest UserThis was an absolutely amazing stay! First off, the hygiene was impeccable; the beds were clean and soft, and the privacy curtains really ensured personal space. It was also very quiet at night. Secondly, the location is superb with convenient transportation and plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. The best part was how warm and welcoming the owner and staff were, offering lots of practical tips to avoid tourist traps. To stay in such a cozy and stylish hostel for just a few bucks is truly incredible value for money. I’ll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

The accommodation is also very nice. You can go to the May Fourth Square right outside the door. It is very convenient to enjoy the sea breeze and watch the light show. After graduation, I returned to Qingdao again. It felt like meeting an old friend. Everything was so familiar. See you later, Qingdao❤️❤️❤️

grace7575Traveling solo, even though I'm past my youth, my experience at this hostel far exceeded my expectations. The female-only quad room offered great privacy, and the cleaning was meticulous. The amenities like fresh air ventilation and a vanity table were a thoughtful touch. The location is excellent, just a short walk to May Fourth Square to enjoy the night view, and the environment is quiet and peaceful. The staff were patient and friendly. Even for a middle-aged solo traveler, it felt comfortable and at ease. The value for money is outstanding, definitely recommended for anyone traveling alone.

Great Location Close to everything. Rooms are ok even with heatable matrasses. This ist not a Cat Hostel, but a Hostel for Cats. Facilties are worn out and it is not clean. Do I recommend it? If you are on Budget, have no alergy against cats and can stand the smell of cat pee, then it is Ok for a day or two, cause it is really cheap.

Anonymous UserThe room was quite clean and had air conditioning. My room also had a private shower, so I didn't have to use the communal bathrooms, which seemed to be mixed-gender. They don't provide purified water, a water dispenser, or disposable cups. There's only one kettle on the first floor where you can boil tap water, but I found the taste of the tap water to be a bit off, so I went out to a small shop to buy bottled water. A nice bonus is that they have two well-behaved and friendly cats that you can pet.

A villa with different heights. Both the double bed and the 6-person bed are very soft and nice. It is very interesting. There is a garden, a swing, a billiard table, and an air-raid shelter. It is quite interesting.

Advantages: very close to Qingdao North Railway Station, starting price for taxi
Air circulation, sleep at night is very cool
What is the sheets and quilt cover?
The entrance is very easy to find
The public space is large
Disadvantages: I didn't see a disposable cup, it was inconvenient to brush my teeth.
The toilet trash can can be bigger
Shampoo is so thin
A bit far from the subway
The toilet ventilation doesn't seem to work well

Guest UserBest hostel I've ever been to!
This hostel opened recently so thanks to this there currently aren't a lot of guests staying, which is great for a quiet stay.
Everything is clean, the rooms and bathrooms are large and convenient, and most importantly the manager is really nice! He will accommodate your stay to make it as pleasant as possible.
The area around the hostel also seems newly built (the building where the hostel is also doesn't have many businesses at the moment) and everything is available within walking distance.
If I have to stay in Weihai again, I will for sure come back to this place!
