Good service. Each room is equipped with a locker. They can let you borrow a lock if you don’t have one. The room I got had 2 bunk beds and. was assigned the lower bunk. Each bunk has its own dedicated lamp, charging space, sleeve where you can place small items, and a drying area for damp towels, etc. They hostel also has a daily room service for cleaning.
Rooms include daily buffet-style breakfast which starts at 6 am. It was sufficient and their eggs and pancake station is never a miss. They have plentiful staff that can assist their guests throughout their stay.
Booked the hostel for 1 night just because it was close to the airport at a fair price, the room is ok, I'm not very picky about it as long as it is clean. I guess for the price it was fair. and the staff was extremely polite. What disappointed me was that my booking was breakfast Included which in my experience as a guest and staff I. several hostels should include at least coffee/tea, cereal, toast and spreadable (butter, jam, Nutella, peanut butter,...) what I got two pieces of bread one spoon of jam and one frozen slice of butter, paid for my coffee and when I asked if I could have one more toast there was no more bread, there was however for the eggs I ordered and paid additionally, my advice if they can offer decent basic breakfast just don't offered as an option with the booking.
A vibe, with many backpackers and friendly staff. There is a rooftop pool with a bar area. You can chill and enjoy the view. Shared bathrooms are clean and they give you a towel. No soap, luckily I packed my own. They have really good pizza and a good breakfast menu. The front desk ladies organized my airport transportation easily. Bed was comfortable and clean with a blanket.
I went on a 13-day trip around Palawan and Coron was my first stop from Cebu. In Coron, I stayed in Dayon Hostel. I was alone for the duration of my three-night stay in the six-bed female dorm. You can choose to lock the door at night for security. I made sure that I turned off the AC every time I went out.
The restrooms are clean especially the toilets although the shower rooms need to be upgraded as some showerheads do not function that well. It will also be nice if they do a thorough cleaning of the shower rooms and the sinks as they looked dirty and unkempt.
There is a restaurant on the rooftop but the options are limited. If you exit through the back, it leads you the main road where you will find a wonderful cafe that serves good sausage meals. There are also several local options available if you want affordable options.
The price I paid was worth the quality of the stay. The hostel is known by tour operators and guides and so it was not a challenge when it was time for pick-up and drop off.
I loved the staff especially when I had to leave early in the morning to head to the port for my trip to El Nido. They arranged my transportation and made sure that I left the hostel on time.
Will I go back? Maybe not and it's not because I don't like it. It's just that I felt that my next stay should be in a private room for another worthwhile experience in Coron. But for those solo travelers on a budget, Dayon Hostel is your best bet in Coron in as far as affordable sleeping option is concerned.
This hostel is right at the beach . The personnel is wonderful and very helpful . The rooms are ok but my advice would be not to have the ones with the curtains as this hostel is a party hostel and it tend to be very noisy at night .
They provide good food at a reasonable price and a free breakfast who is very good ( the pork Tocino is perfect )
They don’t provide transportation from airport to the hostel but the other way round is possible and will cost you 400 peso.
There is no hot water in the whole hostel ( not really needed for shower ) but take it into consideration is you eve need to do laundry.
At night this hostel is very lively and have a lot of activities like beer pong or quizz which makes it not hard to get on well with other customers .
Finally I will definitely recommend this hostel to those who like to party and have a great time in el nido , for families it might be too noisy .
Overall a great experience
The location was nice, not too noisy but still very close to the center. People at reception are very nice and helpful. They can help you book different things such as ferry tickets, transportation and activities.
Bathroom was not super clean and some pipes was leaking. They provide one towel and there is a tube of shampoo in the bathroom if you don’t have anything it’s helpful. There is bathroom and toilet in your room but also some in common area if needed.
The room was ok, there is curtains to protect from light and people passing. It’s also quite easy to go on the upper bed. AC is not too strong and you can ask reception to regulate.
Globally, it’s a good hostel and for the price it really worth it.

Great party hostel with lots of events and very good well trained staff.
The location is ten minutes by tuk-tuk to town so isn’t the best but in return you do get to chill right on the beach.
The food and drinks at the bar are amazing but they are a little more expensive than downtown el nido.
The beds and the bathroom facilities are clean and well looked after with plenty of bum guns to sort you out after eating a bad meal in town.
The entrance and exit could do with improving especially at night as you have to get in from the beach which isn’t ideal at night when there is a high tide and/ or loads of rabid dogs barking and running toward you.

VVictoria&JessiMy overall experience is good! I'm the type of person who prefers active travelling, so the hotel is needed literally just for sleep, shower and storing stuff.
My requirements for the hotel were good proximity to the city center and nice room with hot shower. Well, the location is truly good, it's a bit on the hill so to get to the city center you just need to come down. In the same building there is a great cafe DAYO who offer 10% discount per day for the Oceana Bay hotel's guests.
During our trip to Philippines, Coron was the last destination and the 4th hotel we stayed at, and that was the only one with some room facilities issues. When we checked-in it turned out there is no water in the shower, the staff truly tried to be helpful, the receptionist girl offered us to stay in another upgraded room before the problem will be solved. The thing is when one day later we had to return to the room the problem with the water wasn't solved, we had to contact staff all the time which for sure was absolutely inconvenient, especially when water could be cut off during taking shower. At that point nobody cared already, there were no offers to change the room or to offer us a discount. The siphon from the sink was leaking, so every time you wash your hands, the bathroom floor is immediately in water.
The AC is truly loud, but this is absolutely normal for Philippines, as well as the absence of hair dryer. Nice thing that the hotel unlimitedly provides drinking water in the hall. The hotel also offers tours, bike rent, transfer to the airport, but I'd suggest to check it out in the city first, we've found more convenient and better price offers there.

LLisaLPWe stayed for five nights, booking one double room and one family room. Both rooms were sufficiently furnished, and there were tables outside that we made good use of during the day. We were also offered the use of a fridge in the common area, which we really appreciated. From what I understand, only the family rooms come with water heating.
The location is very good—tucked away in a safe, lively neighbourhood and within walking distance of both NCCC Mall and SM City Puerto Princesa Mall, where there are supermarkets and plenty of food options. We were also able to walk to several places of interest in the city, including the Boardwalk, Chinatown, the Heritage Centre, and the Immaculate Conception Cathedral. There’s a laundry just across the road that charges reasonable rates.
The hosts were the best part of the stay. They were family-oriented, warm, hospitable, accommodating, and very communicative. They helped organise tours at prices better than those offered on online platforms. We had a whale of a time at Honda Bay and the Underground River—both are must-experience attractions when visiting Palawan.
Highly recommended for travellers looking for a welcoming place, great hosts, and a convenient location.
IInbar GeraThe place is really top notch, from every aspect.
Phisically, it is very nice - the room is clean and well maintained, has a working air conditioner and water heating at the shower, and it is very quite at night.
Breakfist is cheap and good.
The stuff is very friendly and available.
Two thing that bought me:
1) Breakfeast is said to be up to 8:00, one day I woke up late and it was offered to me at around 11:00 (it is manually cooked for each customer, so it is hassle)
2) On checkout, i did not remember if i had a deposit or not, the owner enevtually agree to give me an equivalent ammount, even though he did not think i had the deposit (still not sure if i had) just to keep its reputation, it is not going any more honest than that.
Highly recommanded !
GGuest UserThe hotel has a decent location, and everything about it is actually quite good, except for the management. We booked a deluxe room with a large bed and a balcony. We arrived late and were checked into a very basic economy room on the first floor of an annex building (Room B – more like a tiny closet than a room). All the receptionists, one after another, kept assuring us that this was indeed the room category we booked, claiming it had a sea view and they simply hadn't updated the photos, and that the balcony had been removed after a typhoon. They also said they couldn't reach the manager, and without the manager, they couldn't move us. We decided to leave for a Tour A, gathered all our belongings, and moved them to the luggage room, hoping they would be transferred to a different room later. However, upon our return, we were again given the key to the same economy room. After an hour of 'trying' to resolve the issue at reception, we were finally given a room on the second floor of the annex building (Room D) – it had no balcony, but it was bigger and cozier than the previous one (it had a safe, kettle, and a table with chairs – none of which were in Room B). This situation ruined our first impression, even though the hotel is otherwise not bad. It's in the heart of the action and convenient for those who came for sightseeing. The lingering feeling is unclear. We had little time for this place and really didn't want to spend it on arguments, room changes, and listening to people smilingly lie to your face. The photo shows Room D, the one we were moved to.
MMafetsgOne of the best hotel that fits for families and dont want to buy expensive food from outside, coz villa Pamana Inn hotel allows you to cook to enjoy a meal with your family, very accommodating staff 10/10,very clean rooms and their pool was well maintained, decided to extend 1more night to stay.Kudos to the handa on owner👏👏👏
ZZyLocaI recently stayed at Casa Belina and was thoroughly impressed with the value for money. As a budget-conscious traveler, I was blown away by the 5-star services offered at this affordable hotel. The complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off service was a huge perk, saving me a hassle and some extra cash. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with friendly staff always willing to lend a helping hand. Overall, I would highly recommend Casa Belina to anyone looking for a great deal without sacrificing quality - it's an absolute gem!
