It's unclear who came up with the idea of building a hostel inside a restaurant. The doors and walls are made of OSB, so the rooms constantly smell of food. There's always noise outside, so you can only rest when the restaurant isn't open. While hostel guests try to maintain silence during the day and especially in the evening, the restaurant and hostel staff simply don't care, and they can talk loudly until midnight. The girl who works the reception desk in the evening is incredibly stupid; she can't understand or answer even a basic question. Also, two days before my departure, I asked for an airport transfer, and even though it was 50 pesos more expensive than the tricycles outside, I agreed because I wanted to be sure they would definitely pick me up since I was booking a tricycle from the hostel. I reminded them of this request the evening before my departure; I was leaving early in the morning. In the end, no tricycle arrived; the night manager said, ”Tricycle not available.” WHAT??? I ended up having to catch a tricycle in the dark on the road because I had no idea how long it would have taken if I'd called one through an app. The hostel itself isn't bad, but the staff's lackadaisical attitude immediately lowers my rating.

The location was nice, not too noisy but still very close to the center. People at reception are very nice and helpful. They can help you book different things such as ferry tickets, transportation and activities. Bathroom was not super clean and some pipes was leaking. They provide one towel and there is a tube of shampoo in the bathroom if you don’t have anything it’s helpful. There is bathroom and toilet in your room but also some in common area if needed. The room was ok, there is curtains to protect from light and people passing. It’s also quite easy to go on the upper bed. AC is not too strong and you can ask reception to regulate. Globally, it’s a good hostel and for the price it really worth it.

We had a pleasant stay in this hostel. The bathroom is nice with warm and cold shower. They had free drinking water from a dispenser located outside the rooms but within the vicinity. The ambience is wonderful with a touch of nature such as plants and small pond with some fiahes. It's affordable and we will come back to this hostel in the future.

This hotel is really, really great, I loved it! Even though I stayed in a shared four-person room, it didn't bother me at all because almost every day (from morning till evening) we were out on excursions or somewhere else. The staff are friendly and caring, rooms are cleaned daily, and the showers and toilets are communal (but there are also a few separate stalls just for women). The breakfasts are delicious and varied – I would fly back to the Philippines again just for these breakfasts! Because here, I only had truly good food three times: first in Cebu, second at the hotel's breakfast, and third at an Italian restaurant in El Nido, that's it! In the shared room, you get a towel, a locker with a lock, and a large bed (unlike other similar hotels). I'm thrilled!

A stunning hostel. The best of the 5 in which I lived in the Philippines. All fresh, clean. There is a place on the balcony to dry things. There are boxes with keys to close things. Minus was-not working a roast.organized me a transfer to the airport-250 peso. Location next to the streets with cafes and restaurants. On the other side of the cafe with dessert pp. Girls are very kind and cute. Towels are. Fen is not.

A vibe, with many backpackers and friendly staff. There is a rooftop pool with a bar area. You can chill and enjoy the view. Shared bathrooms are clean and they give you a towel. No soap, luckily I packed my own. They have really good pizza and a good breakfast menu. The front desk ladies organized my airport transportation easily. Bed was comfortable and clean with a blanket.

The hosts are the friendliest people alive. They were so kind and helpful so I felt so comfortable. The room was great and big. It has an air conditioner and a small fan inside your box. Your capsule has a curtain made of wood and it was so cool. They provide a small breakfast since 7.30 am. It usually bananas, buns and peanut butter. On the first floor they have a cafe and you get a 15% discount if you're a guest of a hostel.

VVictoria&JessiMy overall experience is good! I'm the type of person who prefers active travelling, so the hotel is needed literally just for sleep, shower and storing stuff. My requirements for the hotel were good proximity to the city center and nice room with hot shower. Well, the location is truly good, it's a bit on the hill so to get to the city center you just need to come down. In the same building there is a great cafe DAYO who offer 10% discount per day for the Oceana Bay hotel's guests. During our trip to Philippines, Coron was the last destination and the 4th hotel we stayed at, and that was the only one with some room facilities issues. When we checked-in it turned out there is no water in the shower, the staff truly tried to be helpful, the receptionist girl offered us to stay in another upgraded room before the problem will be solved. The thing is when one day later we had to return to the room the problem with the water wasn't solved, we had to contact staff all the time which for sure was absolutely inconvenient, especially when water could be cut off during taking shower. At that point nobody cared already, there were no offers to change the room or to offer us a discount. The siphon from the sink was leaking, so every time you wash your hands, the bathroom floor is immediately in water. The AC is truly loud, but this is absolutely normal for Philippines, as well as the absence of hair dryer. Nice thing that the hotel unlimitedly provides drinking water in the hall. The hotel also offers tours, bike rent, transfer to the airport, but I'd suggest to check it out in the city first, we've found more convenient and better price offers there.

LLisaLPWe stayed for five nights, booking one double room and one family room. Both rooms were sufficiently furnished, and there were tables outside that we made good use of during the day. We were also offered the use of a fridge in the common area, which we really appreciated. From what I understand, only the family rooms come with water heating. The location is very good—tucked away in a safe, lively neighbourhood and within walking distance of both NCCC Mall and SM City Puerto Princesa Mall, where there are supermarkets and plenty of food options. We were also able to walk to several places of interest in the city, including the Boardwalk, Chinatown, the Heritage Centre, and the Immaculate Conception Cathedral. There’s a laundry just across the road that charges reasonable rates. The hosts were the best part of the stay. They were family-oriented, warm, hospitable, accommodating, and very communicative. They helped organise tours at prices better than those offered on online platforms. We had a whale of a time at Honda Bay and the Underground River—both are must-experience attractions when visiting Palawan. Highly recommended for travellers looking for a welcoming place, great hosts, and a convenient location.

--IVI-During my recent visit to the Divine Castle Travelers Inn in Coron, Busuanga, I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The inn stood out for its exceptional cleanliness, which was a welcome relief after a long day of travel. The pristine condition of the rooms and common areas was truly impressive. What truly set this inn apart, however, was its picturesque location nestled next to a gentle hill. The scenic beauty of the surrounding landscape added an extra layer of charm to my stay. Waking up to the sight of lush greenery and the soothing sounds of nature was a true delight. The inn's proximity to the hill also meant that I could easily take a leisurely stroll and explore the natural beauty of the area. It provided a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, allowing me to unwind and recharge. Overall, my experience at Divine Castle Travelers Inn was nothing short of delightful. The combination of cleanliness and its idyllic location made it a memorable and enjoyable stay. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat in Coron, I highly recommend considering this inn.

GGuest UserThe hotel has a decent location, and everything about it is actually quite good, except for the management. We booked a deluxe room with a large bed and a balcony. We arrived late and were checked into a very basic economy room on the first floor of an annex building (Room B – more like a tiny closet than a room). All the receptionists, one after another, kept assuring us that this was indeed the room category we booked, claiming it had a sea view and they simply hadn't updated the photos, and that the balcony had been removed after a typhoon. They also said they couldn't reach the manager, and without the manager, they couldn't move us. We decided to leave for a Tour A, gathered all our belongings, and moved them to the luggage room, hoping they would be transferred to a different room later. However, upon our return, we were again given the key to the same economy room. After an hour of 'trying' to resolve the issue at reception, we were finally given a room on the second floor of the annex building (Room D) – it had no balcony, but it was bigger and cozier than the previous one (it had a safe, kettle, and a table with chairs – none of which were in Room B). This situation ruined our first impression, even though the hotel is otherwise not bad. It's in the heart of the action and convenient for those who came for sightseeing. The lingering feeling is unclear. We had little time for this place and really didn't want to spend it on arguments, room changes, and listening to people smilingly lie to your face. The photo shows Room D, the one we were moved to.

FFABRICE MATHIEUThis hostel is right at the beach . The personnel is wonderful and very helpful . The rooms are ok but my advice would be not to have the ones with the curtains as this hostel is a party hostel and it tend to be very noisy at night . They provide good food at a reasonable price and a free breakfast who is very good ( the pork Tocino is perfect ) They don’t provide transportation from airport to the hostel but the other way round is possible and will cost you 400 peso. There is no hot water in the whole hostel ( not really needed for shower ) but take it into consideration is you eve need to do laundry. At night this hostel is very lively and have a lot of activities like beer pong or quizz which makes it not hard to get on well with other customers . Finally I will definitely recommend this hostel to those who like to party and have a great time in el nido , for families it might be too noisy . Overall a great experience

DDeeRFOur stay at this inn in Puerto Princesa truly exceeded my expectations. We arrived from a long trip, and even before we could get off the van, a staff member was already there to warmly welcome us and assist with our luggage. That small gesture immediately set the tone for the kind of service they provide—attentive, proactive, and genuinely caring. Since it was only a short stay, I didn’t expect much at first. But the level of hospitality we experienced was nothing short of exceptional. The staff were consistently courteous, accommodating, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. It’s rare to come across a place where service feels this personal and effortless. They made us feel well taken care of from the moment we arrived until we left. I would definitely recommend this inn to anyone visiting Puerto Princesa, especially if you value warm and reliable service.
