If you want to take a taxi, you can go directly back to the train station and call the taxi waiting there. It is very convenient! The location is very good and the hotel is very newly decorated! The ingredients provided for breakfast are very fresh, but I feel that the cooking method still needs to be improved. Overall, the convenience is very high. I personally think it is one of the most comfortable hotels in Cambridge!

Email password, all self-service access. It should be noted that the check-in and check-out time of the hotel is very dead. Check-in at 3 pm and check-out at 10 am. The time should be set automatically. You cannot enter the house early, and the check-out password will be invalid automatically.

The sign requesting not to be disturbed was hanging on the door handle inside the room. I only discovered the note instructing me to hang another sign, found with the towels on a chair in the room, on the outside handle requesting ”new towels”, if I wanted the room serviced.
If the cleaners do not enter the room unless there is a visible request for new towels, what is the necessity of a sign requesting not to be disturbed? No one is going to come in.
I fully understand the advantages of not replacing the towels every day - and endorse that. But I would have liked to be clearly informed of the note in the paper that came with my room ”key”.

Here is my ordeal with Travelodge and TRIP.com, on arriving the hotel I discovered the hotel has no air conditioning and it was terribly hot in London, I immediately notified the hotel of my intention to check out which they agreed to and are willing to give me a refund , unfortunately the TRIP customer service kept going round and round with the situation inorder for them to make me finish my stay at the hotel even with the fact that I complained it wasn’t comfortable, to be honest the hotel did their best to ensure I get my refund but trip messed everything up, there was practically nothing they didn’t do to make sure I didn’t check out even when someone from the hotel spoke with them about their willingness to give me a refund this is the hotel Ass. Manager ( Mrs Gosia) .
I had a very terrible experience with trip and it is definitely going to be my last . I couldn’t sleep most of the night because of the terrible heat at night thanks to trip.

It is worth recommending the luxury mattress of this family hotel, I like it. I was attracted by other people's beautiful pictures when I made the reservation. After I checked in, I found it was really good, but I had to drive by myself and check in for free. The room was remodeled from the original dormitory, not quite but adequate, no air conditioning, slightly colder, breakfast quality is good, the environment is first-rate, it is recommended

|2.15km from Newnham CollegeWas visiting a relative so needed a convenient place. My priority is cleanliness. Am coming from Asia / Tropics so was apprehensive over heat and non-aircon. Room was a bit warm but it cools at night esp if you leave window open. I had a handheld fan which served my purpose - I had it on the whole night to cool me. My room was on 3rd floor so it meant I had to climb 2 flights of steps each time I went up. With heavy luggage, this cld be a problem. The room was otherwise, clean, quaint and comfortable. Some may say small & old but that I didn’t mind. Small window overlooking the river and park - nice. Bathroom was small and shower if you are big, you won’t fit in. Otherwise clean. Surprised they provided daily breakfast which was simple but sufficient. Location is 10 mins walk from the city center. I walked to the train stn - that took me 40 mins. I love walking so enjoyed the walks to town and the open country (following the river away from the town centre). I stayed 2 nights; 1st ~ 56 quid and 2nd nite ~75 quid. Great value.

The reception ladies are very handful, and they provided help when we needed it.
Getting an Uber from the hotel is also tricky, as it depends on the time of the day you request one.

Although it is a bar, it is not very noisy at night. There will be some sound of vehicles passing by the room on the side of the road, but the impact is not big.
