The hotel lobby smells particularly good, and when we go at Christmas, a huge Christmas tree is projected on the wall, which has a festive atmosphere. There are drinks while waiting. The restaurant on the top floor is also great and worth spending. Hotel location is also very convenient, very good ~

Staff at The Waldorf are incredibly attentive to any / all needs. I asked for a later checkout and plates for food early in the morning after a night out and they accommodated that for us. The hotel is placed in a prime location, just a stones throw from Covent Garden and about 28-30 minutes walk from Regent Street. The hotel is only accessible by key card after hours; to ensure guest safety. Amenities in the room included an iron and board, kettle, drinking glasses and coffee / tea cups. The shower had fixed shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers. The mini bar was fairly priced for central London, but hadn't been cleaned (hence the slightly lower score on cleanliness). The air conditioning dried my throat out throughout the night, but turns off automatically if the window is open, so had to deal with that / just had water next to the bed throughout the night. The downstairs bar had a great a**osphere and boasts a large menu. Great for a late nightcap. Overall the experience was great. Our Queen room cost £179.00 for the night (excluding breakfast). I was offered two forms of upgrades. A larger Queen Room with breakfast included was only an extra £40.00, and a Kings Suite with access to the executive lounge and breakfast was £80.00 extra.

Stayed as a solo female traveller for 3 nights and never felt unsafe once. Room was really small and next to other single bedders so if you’re a light sleeper - bring ear plugs! Room comes with filtered water (in a cute red bottle) which you can refill in the hotel’s water station.

We arrived to be greeted by service and manners from the start to the time we left. Fantastic location, beautiful lobby and eating areas.A lovely reading room where you could read newspapers and have a drink in a quiet place. The whole place was a quiet place really. The swimming pool is good plus the steam room and sauna. The food was excellent too. We went to see Back to the future musical and it was only over the road, that’s how good the location it is as well as Covent Garden being more or less over the road too. You really do feel like a film star staying there.Amazing place.

Stayed twice in a short period of time Advantages: - Central location - Large and comfortable room, air conditioning and heating are very useful, flowers, fruits, chocolates and juice are provided - My companions had difficulty walking for a few days, and the hotel also prepared a gift box with muscle relief cream, snacks and poker (?) - Friendly concierge service - Generally quiet at night, only one night I heard loud music from the street downstairs Can be improved: - Breakfast service standards are not very standardized: sometimes you have to wait for a few minutes before someone takes you to your seat, sometimes butter and jam are provided, sometimes not, and sometimes only provided when requested; the staff can't remember the room number - The room service mistakenly took our own tableware as hotel tableware and took it back, and called the next day to find it back - Two times, one of the dial phones in the room was not working, one was not connected, and the other could not make calls - The magnetic door of the bedroom makes a loud noise when opening and closing at night, and it is better to add a buffer sound insulation ***** - The laundry service is also relatively slow, and it is not returned the next day. It was returned after communicating with the front desk - The bathroom is a little cold after taking a shower - Some of the decorative paintings in one of the rooms are a little creepy

Location and service was great. The only bad thing was the aircond system of the room was really bad and every night we have to make complaints to the counter to fix the aircond. Our last night was worse as the aircond totally broke down at night but front desk was really helpful to help us solve the issue. Overall experience was good still except we were unlucky to got the room with faulty aircond system

Amazing front desk and housekeeping team! There’s a lady from Bangladesh who has big smiles and very helpful when we have late lunch at the lobby restaurant. One thing that I don’t really like is that there’s a scaffolding wrapping around the entire hotel and they started the drilling and pounding work at 9 am sharp.

If you live in the lobby, you will hear loud noises at night, the wifi speed is a bit slow, and if you leave your luggage for more than 24 Hours need to go to a specific website to make an appointment.

I have been to multiple hotel in london. I would say this hotel is the most reasonable price with best location. The only things I was not expected was at least they should provide a bottle of water and a slipper... Apparently the carpet was bit marked and I have to wear to shoes all the time... Apart from that overall, I am happy with this places.

Really good hotel with friendly staff and nice amenities! Everything looks nicely furnished and there were no issue with the cleanliness. Food was good too were decent variety. The only issues were the missing table as shown in the photos for Family Room and the hotel only use bathroom curtains instead of glass, which was weird aesthetically given how nicely furnished the rest of the room is. Other than that, it's a great stay and I recommend this hotel.

Very nice stay at the Bankside hotel though not without some difficulties. We had asked for a quiet room but were placed right next to the lift lobby and opposite the water dispenser, and with hard floors throughout the lift lobby and entrance area of the rooms this meant a LOT of noise coming in the room at all hours. In fairness, the front desk tried to find an alternative but it was not what we were looking for so we opted to stay where we were and made the best of it. Aside from this everything else about the stay was great, a really lovely modern hotel with very friendly and fun staff, great breakfast (though not cheap) and good location on the South Bank. We would definitely stay here again (though ask not to be in this room location). Special mention to breakfast staff who helped get extra fruit for our toddler and concierge who gave him Christmas gifts from the tree... lovely touches.

Everything was very good. Breakfast offers a lot of coice - except warm breakfast is only on Weekends. On the Trip site the check in time is incorrect (ov voucher it says after 12, but it is after 14) - despite us coming too early, they gave us the room and made coffee for free. The hotel is locked over night and the staff is really friendly. We were in the hotel trought the hottest days in history but they prepared a ventilator - because they don't have AC (normally).

Accommodation is close to places to eat such as the KFC Burger King Nando. Tesco Lotus Express is open 24 hours. Anyone traveling by subway is convenient. Not far from the accommodation, large room with a double bed, but the disadvantage is that there is no water provided. And change the sheets every 2 days. We stay 5 nights, change just 2 times but rearrange the bed every day. Overall, very satisfied. Lovely staff Very informative and helpful, very impressed. If there is a chance, I will go back to stay again. Also nearby is Harrods, just 25 minutes walk. For those who like to walk, can walk straight away.

Mimi's Hotel Soho
4/5116 Reviews
London
|0.76km from city centre
My wife and I had a stay at Mimis recently, and overall, we enjoyed it and would stay there again. However, I suggest doing some research beforehand, as the rooms are quite tiny. Even though we were aware of this before arriving, we were still a bit surprised by just how small they were. Despite this, it didn't negatively impact our experience or spoil our stay. The room and bathroom was nicely decorated. I only have a few minor observations rather than complaints. Upon check-in, we requested a late check-out, but the person at the reception seemed a bit abrupt, as he did with an older couple in front of us who had questions about their room location in the annex and that they hoped to stay in the main building. The pillows provided were not very supportive, as they deflated to almost nothing. If we had stayed for more than one night and asked for extra pillows, they would have been accommodating. Regarding breakfast, we inquired about the options available and were informed that they offered coffee and pastries. Unfortunately, they couldn't provide hot food, which was a bit disappointing. It would have been nice to have the choice of continental-style breakfast with cold meats and other items; we would have been willing to pay for it as we only wanted somthing light. Despite these very small things, they did not affect our overall enjoyment of the stay. We still had a pleasant time, and we are looking forward to returning to Mimis in the future. Location is great!

There are also most shops and a lot of food. The breakfast service in the hotel is very good. The waiters Soad and PedRo Briton are very enthusiastic. The buffet breakfast also has optional items, such as grill fish. The room is very tidy and has a clean bathtub. At this price, you can't find anything else in London that is this clean and tidy.
