"The breakfast is good and the location is great in the heart of Agueda. The environment is OK and there is free parking.
The front desk staff is very good and friendly."
"I really like the hotel, super comfortable, nice, clean. The only negative detail is that they ask you to bring a swimming cap to use the pool, I'm not saying it's bad, but who brings a swimming cap when travelling? Otherwise everything is very nice... Very attentive and friendly those who serve at reception"

"The cleaning ladies are very friendly. Carina, who is at the reception, is very friendly and very helpful, in contrast, I only have to point out the staff who were serving breakfast. I asked if I could have a table next to the window, since the tables that were prepared were all on the opposite side, they said yes, that I could take the dishes and take them to the other table. I did so, and sat down at a large table (I had only noticed these tables next to the window). When I went to get food, the two employees, who were always in the middle of the room, told me to use smaller tables. The room was quite empty, and from the number of tables prepared it was obvious that few customers were waiting, who would not use all the tables, as happened. The attitude of these two employees did not sit well with me. They could have taken the trouble to at least indicate the tables they wanted the customer to sit at (at the time I didn't notice the tables because they were on the side). They waited for the customer to change, and, in a law of least effort, they indicated that they had to change tables again. This difference in attitude from the reception to the restaurant makes all the difference in service.
Very clean and heated room with regulation. Very silent."
"Fabulous. Impeccable service and staff, spa with very good heated pool. Sauna and jacuzzi included in the spa. The spa was free for guests to enter. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the chef deserves a Michelin star at the very least. It was simply divine. The breakfast was also very good. What an unforgettable experience, we felt as if we had enjoyed first class service in the 1920s. The whole atmosphere makes the guest feel like they are traveling back in time with all the luxury. The rooms are modern and comfortable. I've been to many guesthouses, but I've never been to a place like this that met all the requirements and gave that feeling of lost luxury. A jewel to (re)discover. The best historic hotel in Portugal. I will definitely be back very soon as there is no other palace hotel or guesthouse that comes close to this one."
"Very good, there are many parking spaces near the hotel without parking in the hotel parking lot. From the hotel, you can walk to the city center along the river. In the evening, there are Fado singers singing in the front hall."
"The hotel is very close to the train station and it takes less than five minutes to walk, but the train has no sound that affects sleep. It is a kind of hotel that is not luxurious but very warm and comfortable, clean and tidy. The price is high, probably because it is the tourist area. This place has a town called Venice in Portugal."
"Aveiro is a quaint city - access to main attractions was easy from hotel. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff helpful with luggage storage. Breakfast was excellent. Recommend it."
