Roms very clean but bathroom very small, my daughter and I are both 5' 10 so really felt the tight squeeze but was no real problem. Came here to visit daughters friend whose family was kind enough to show us all the local area. Great base for exploring.

I think it can't be helped, but as mentioned in another comment, the front desk's response is somewhat lacking. Not all people are familiar with geography, so prepare a map, or write in the parking lot in front of the hotel that ”This place is for temporary use only, and guests staying at the hotel should move to a nearby area after checking in.” Or, I thought there was a way to devise a little more. It didn't feel like there were only regular customers.

While shopping for raw oysters, I searched for a nearby hot spring where I could relax with my children (although it wasn't), and it had good reviews, so I went. It's not a hot spring, but it was nice to have an open-air bath with a view of the sea. Since I went there on Saturday afternoon, it was empty, and there was a guide at the entrance only for bathing, so the response was better than that of a famous hot spring hotel. I still want to use it.
