Aparthotel Paladim & Alagoamar

We have stayed in the Apartotel on at least 10 occasions and it never lets us down. The staff are efficient and friendly. The hotel is always very clean and it is located in a great area directly between the old and new towns.

Great hotel.centrally located 4 everything. Spotlessly clean,great staff and entertainment every night,even in January.

Overall great experience at this hotel. Minor issues, such as door lock to balcony raised and addressed quickly. 2 nice pools. Restaurant and bar priced fairly for a hotel. Staff are good. A little bit of noise on one night but that's hardly the fault of the hotel. Would be more than happy to return to this accommodation.

The hotel was excellent, we paid for a poolside room and were located on the -1 floor. We couldn’t find this at first and reception weren’t much help. Would of liked a guide to help us as we spent a good 15 minutes looking for our room. The service could of been better as a whole from the staff, they were friendly enough however, they were not very customer service oriented. I came in one night and asked the reception for a glass of water as I was severely dehydrated from a long walk back from the old town, I was told to wait in line at the busy bar. I waited for at least 20 minutes. We had a noise compliant on the second day regarding the previous night which was fair enough, as we had too much to drink and were admittedly very noisy. This did not go any further which was great. The room we got 003 poolside was a brilliant room very spacious and the sofa bed was better than the actual beds provided in the bedroom. Our rooms were cleaned to a good standard. You have to pay a €50 deposit for each person incase of damage upon arrival. We were dubious about getting this back given the noise complaint however, there were no issues. Overall I would say this is definitely a family hotel and no ideal for young lads but i would certainly return with my wife and kids, just not a group of young lads.

The location of the apartment was great - easy to walk everywhere (although if you don’t like walking you’d perhaps have to get a taxi to old town as it’s an uphill walk on the way back). There was a bad smell of sewerage in our bathroom. The lady at reception said the maintenance guy would take a look on our first day there, but the smell didn’t leave and we weren’t offered a different room. Our stay was ok, but we probably wouldn’t return.

Just got back from this hotel and we had an amazing stay. We had a room with pool view, very satisfied with the size of the rooms and balcony, had everything we needed. Beds comfy, extra pillows and covers in wardrobes. The rooms aren’t very soundproof - this didn’t bother us but may be a problem for light sleepers. All staff from reception to bar staff were very friendly, nothing was trouble for them. Was never a problem in getting a sunbed no matter what time of day, two nice sized pools. Amazing location, in the middle of both old and new town and right next to a supermarket and taxi rank. We ate at the restaurant once during our stay and was really tasty food and good service. Next time I come back to Albufeira I would choose this hotel again and recommend to family/friends. Thank you Paladim for a great stay!

Great location. Shopping center with a big grocery store next to it. Another grocery Pingo Doce a block away, this one was a bit more expensive, but nice. Historic town, 1 km away.

location was great walkable to oldtown, grocery across the street , felt safe even at night .
