Hotel Complutense

Small hotel located in the heart of Alcalá de Henares where access for people with reduced mobility is very difficult, since they do not have a ramp to access it. I stayed in a room on the second floor, the room was very small in size but had everything necessary. The negative is that to access the balcony or the second bed you have to go sideways since the space between the wall and the end of the bed is very, very narrow. Also, a negative aspect is the size of the bed, due to my height (1.70) when I lay down on the bed my feet and part of my legs were hanging. Upon arrival at the hotel, there was a paper posted at the reception notifying guests that the hotel was undergoing renovations and that for this reason, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. construction work would be underway when the renovations, noises, and machines began to work. at 09:25 in the morning. The sink has a dispenser with hand soap as well as the shower and also has towels. If I visited Alcalá again, I don't know if I would return to the same hotel, since I couldn't rest well due to the length of the bed.

I went about 2 weeks ago and I would not recommend such accommodation even to Putin. It is rated as a hotel and there are cleaner hostels than this. The dirt is conspicuous by its absence (just arrived there was hair on the pillows), there was hair in the corners of the showers, the floor of the room I didn't even want to touch barefoot, imagine. If someone is taking a shower in the other room, you can even hear them soaping themselves... DEPLORABLE. In short, if you value your personal hygiene, it is worth paying a little more and going to another one that is nearby.
