Hotel Complutense

Comfortable room, although not very big, quiet and very well located.

The reception staff were very friendly at all times; the hotel is welcoming and quiet.

The room was very small and attic-style, and the bathroom door opened inward, blocking the toilet, so you had to close the door again to get to the toilet. Breakfast isn't served at the hotel; it's served at a nearby bar and is quite limited. The staff is friendly, and the price is affordable.

The accommodation is in an excellent location. The facilities are simple but clean. The bed in the single room is small.

It wasn't easy to get the air pump working. On the last day, they didn't make my bed.

The best thing about it was the location for walking, close to the center and supermarkets. The average thing was the parking and service. The worst thing was the cleanliness: the bathroom was dirty, the room wasn't swept, and the breakfast was not good. We requested a double bed and were told they didn't have any "economy" ones. We also informed the cleaners, and they promised to come the next day to clean them, which they didn't. Regarding breakfast, it's at a nearby bar and only includes orange juice, coffee (not hot chocolate, which is more expensive 😳), and toast with butter/tomato, or a croissant. In short, this isn't the place for us. Thank you.

The reception staff were excellent, professional, and friendly. The cleanliness was a bit disappointing; just because it's a budget hotel doesn't mean it has to be dirty! For that reason alone, I wouldn't book this place again.

We had a family event and I chose it because of the location close to my mother's house. We arrived at 12 noon and they already had the room ready, very kind and pleasant. Some things to improve are the pillowcases that had some stains and the shower holder that was broken and if you moved it a little the shower head fell 😅.
