"Nice hotel near Kawasan waterfall. Friendly employees. Has its own cafe. There is a rocky beach nearby, but it is shallow for swimming. Wi-Fi was paid, it didn’t work in the room, we had to go outside. They have guides who can take you canyoning. If you just want to swim at the waterfall, you are allowed only to the first level."

"We rented a room for two, it turned out that this room was of indigenous Filipinos (they always lived there with us))), the attitude towards us was excellent, everyone suggested where and what to go and what to visit, helped with renting a motorbike, and with ordering a taxi . But it seemed to us that we were living with a Filipino family (the children were constantly making noise) and the constant presence of the owners bothered us. We stayed for 7 days, but we left a day earlier and rented a room in Cebu to sleep. If you shoot for a couple of days, then it’s good."

"Very good hotel, the rooms and the lobby are clean, the rooms have hot water and air conditioning. Downstairs in the lobby there is a cooler with hot and cold water, available 24 hours a day. Also on the 3rd floor there is a large dining table, very convenient 👍 no need to eat in the room. We stayed for 5 days, they allowed us to dry our laundry on special ropes on the roof. We had a room with windows facing the hall, but if you turn on the air conditioner, it is not a problem. By the way, the air conditioner is noisy, pay attention if you have problems with sleep
The staff is polite and friendly. One of the big minuses is that you need to go to the beach, so it is better to rent a bike here. We went to Moalboal to the beach with turtles and sardines and later to White Beach. The route by tuk tuk to the center of Moalboal is 25 pesos, and then they took us by bike for 40 pesos per person.
You get out next to a food market and a bunch of cafes. 300 meters to the right along the highway there is a large Supermarket, inexpensive, with fixed prices. We went from Cebu by bus, it stops on the road 100 meters from the hotel, we left the same way, but across the road, the ticket price is 225 pesos - payment is taken on the bus air conditioning. There are also tuk-tuks or as they are also called - jeeps to Maolboal, the price is 25 pesos to the center. Along the highway to the right and slightly up for about 15 minutes, it is reflected on the map as a waterfall - but this is the point of issue of equipment and support to. Kawasaki Canyon, there you can order an excursion from them. We concluded that it is ideal to live there, but a bike is definitely needed"

"The Badian Resort is best for the secluded getaway or just a quiet rest. You must get yourself by taxi or other vehicle to their pick-up pier where you be greeted by someone from their security team. He will verify you are expected and call one of their speedy water taxis and in 5 minutes you will arrive on the island where you will be met by one of their friendly staff. I was given a welcome flower to wear. I was quickly checked in, then personally escorted to my cabana. The room was very attractive, clean, safe, well laid out, quiet, roomy, and comfortable. Note: the room (my room) had neither teIevision nor phone - which was fine by me. WiFi was great. Cellular was zero. Yes, this is secluded. I arrived too late to use their pool, which closes at 5pm. Had a great dinner there with a large selection to order from. Breakfast was good, but not as good as dinner. The Badian’s grounds are fairly large. There didn’t seem to be other businesses or places to go on this island, so the focus is the resort.
I liked it very much and would definitely recommend it for anyone looking a laid back experience."

"A small, quiet, cozy, family-run hotel, practically on the seashore. It's surprising that there was room for a swimming pool in such a limited area.
Interestingly, the water in the pool is fresh, but in the shower it's salty. )))
I don't like exclusively ”marmalade” reviews, so I'll mention the disadvantages, of which I saw only two:
1. Well, the order is very long to complete. Agree that 40 minutes of waiting for dinner is too much.
2. Swimming in the sea with a mask, or just swimming in the sea, will be difficult for you because of the shallow depth and the bottom, completely strewn with broken corals. However, this does not depend on the owners of the hotel. But the cleanliness of the coast and the ”sea up to the knees” depend on them )))
As Exupery said in ”The Little Prince”: ”When you wake up in the morning - clean up your planet”
I don't want to go into details, so as to spoil the generally positive impressions, including the price, received from staying in this truly cozy hotel."
