Excellent booking and living experience! It can use the bathtub to relax my body. Even though the assistant do not speak English, they always keep clam and be willing to help me, on one side for enjoying my breakfast , the other for my needing a taxi to train station. Finally, Almaty is a picturesque and hospitality city for traveling. Thanks đ
Pros - convenient location, cleanliness, fairly large room, separate beds for 3 people. Availability of everything necessary in the room (hair dryer, kettle, robes, slippers, toiletries). Breakfast is ordinary. Cons - the rooms are cool, we turned on the heater. And the location of the amenities in the bathroom is puzzling, you can only use the sink from the toilet)))
The room is quite big, but the corridors on both sides are very noisy, the bathroom is very musty, the bed cover is very soapy, the mattress is uncomfortable
The front desk lady is very good, help find the bus
The restaurant is large, the breakfast is not particularly large but complete, very delicious
This hotel is not far from the city but the traffic is not very convenient. Travel is not recommended to live here.

We had great time at Tenir Eco. At first, im a bit worried as im unsure how to go up and bring luggages direct from airport since we arrived direct from istanbul trip. But actually its quite easy. The hotel arranged to bring luggages up to hotel with payment of 5000 tenge(from shymbulak station to hotel reception). U have a choice to bring it yourslef but mind you that it is quite slippery from combi 2 to reception. So if u want to enjoy the moment just ask the hotel to bring the luggage for u.
The hotel will give QR code for cable car ride from Medeu station to combi 1-combi 2 and back down. If u want more can ask them to buy for you. Around 4000 tenge.
The hospitality is amazing , they provided all the necessity. And fast action too. They fixed the netflix so we could enjoy our 2nights stay. And although -12celcius was a challenge but the room got quite nice heat â and u can always heat urself in the bathroom sauna, even the floor was heated. So we never feel tortured with the weather.
Bring some food for dinner if u dont want to spend time going down too much. And u can heat it in sauna as wellđ. Host (ingkar) was a very nice person. He gave us two nice cheesecakes since netflix took time to be fixed.
We stayed in Room Tenir 10 which was the last end room with nice romantic vibe and view. Thereâs night skiing and the skiers sometimes stop and wave to us while we watch them pass by. We also hike to nearby mountain and enjoy the scenery. It is super cold during winter and like a dream come true stay for us.
As per going back you can request them to bring down luggage as well with same 5000 tenge tilk symbulak station. The food at syn32 also yummy n good. Go try the blueberry mint tea with mountain view. Its amazing. U can ski in ski out from the room itself. Sunset is perfect as well. I will return again in future. Perfect stay in Shymbulak 3200mâŚ. Never regret it.
And may try the paragliding as well. Looks fun too!

KKannika_YI recently stayed at the Novotel Almaty City Center and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to explore the city. The proximity to Republic Palace and the Abai Metro station is particularly convenient1.
The rooms are modern, clean, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. I appreciated the comfortable bed and the quiet atmosphere, which ensured a good nightâs sleep. The view from my room was also quite pleasant, offering a nice glimpse of the city2.
The staff at Novotel Almaty City Center were exceptional. They were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with any requests. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient2.
One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet. It offered a wide variety of delicious options, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. The restaurantâs ambiance was also very welcoming1.
The hotelâs amenities, including the fitness center, indoor pool, and sauna, were top-notch. It was great to have these facilities available for relaxation and exercise after a day of sightseeing1.
Overall, I highly recommend Novotel Almaty City Center for anyone visiting Almaty. It offers excellent value for money, a prime location, and outstanding service.
IIsfp-Solo TravelerOne of the best hotels Iâve stayed at so far! I arrived at the hotel around 5 AM, and fortunately (thank you for the receptionist who attended me), they had a room available for early check-in (for half the price).
The view was absolutely amazing, and the room was well-equipped with a mini-fridge, TV, hair dryer, disposable slippers, bathrobe, towels, and complimentary coffee, tea, and water.
The breakfast? I highly recommend booking a room with breakfast included! Itâs a buffet with an extensive selectionâmains, soups, and desserts change daily. They also have pies, cheeses, breads, cereals, and so much more. I didnât even recognize some of the dishes and didnât get to try everything, but everything I did taste was absolutely delicious.
The location is also excellent, with bus stations and the subway just a short walk away. I was able to walk to several tourist spots like Panfilov Park, Green Bazaar, and many more. One of the best features of the hotel is the keycard system â you can only access your assigned floor and the first floor, where the reception is located (from there, you can easily walk to the breakfast and spa areas)
GGee WooHotel receptionist were really professionals to help me any cases
Hotel was classic and beautiful
Ceiling was very high and rooms were clean and classical also like old Hollywood movie in good mood
Very quiet and convenient location to famous tour spots and fancy restaurants
I really enjoyed to stay here
Very relaxed and really appreciated
GGuest UserThe room is very clean, very close to Saiyiran Station, there is a bus stop at the door, very convenient, the common space is large, the boss is also very good, the only drawback is that the bed is a little small, I am 190cm tall and a little small
DDaniilMy stay at MuTu hotel was absolutely fantastic! The interior design is modern yet cozy with beautiful attention to detail. The living space features comfortable purple sofas and elegant sheer curtains that let in plenty of natural light. The dining area is stunning with a large dining table, stylish chairs, and thoughtful plant decorations that add a touch of nature indoors.
What really impressed me was the kitchen - it has gorgeous colorful mosaic tile backsplash that gives a vibrant personality to the space, contrasting beautifully with the two-tone cabinetry (dark and wood finish). Everything was immaculately clean and well-organized.
The staircase area with its contrasting dark and white railings shows the careful design elements throughout the property. The light pink/beige walls create a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout.
The owner is an incredibly kind Chinese gentleman who goes above and beyond to assist guests with anything they might need. His hospitality made the stay even more special.
If you're looking for a beautifully designed, comfortable place with excellent service, MuTu hotel is definitely worth booking!
HHAICHAOForeigners staying in Kazakhstan for more than five days need to register with the local immigration office, but the hotel does not help with the registration. It can only find visa personnel to handle it, which is a bit inconvenient.
DDeepanjanSubject: Excellent Location, but Overpriced and Outdated Rooms
I stayed at Hotel Kazakhstan in Almaty for more than 10 days, drawn initially by its prime location. The hotelâs location is indeed its biggest strengthâbang on the main road with excellent accessibility to various parts of the city, making it convenient for travelers.
The property itself is a heritage hotel, and while it has its charm, the overall experience was mixed. The hotel is quite old, though the upkeep and concierge services were commendable. However, the parking facility was a major issue. During snowfall, it became extremely messy, and entering the hotel was quite challenging.
Regarding the rooms, my experience varied throughout the stay:
⢠The initial superior room booked online was decent, offering good space and facilities.
⢠The âsupreme premium superiorâ room I opted for later was disappointingâit was smaller, with a worse layout and fewer amenities than the superior room, which was surprising and frustrating.
⢠For the last three days, I upgraded to a junior suite. While it offered more space, the layout and overall upkeep of the room felt outdated, leaving much to be desired.
A consistent issue across all three rooms was the drainage system in the washrooms, which was poorly maintained and created unnecessary inconvenience.
The breakfast provided as part of the stay had a wide selection and was good. However, the menu did not change for all nine days, which became monotonous for a longer stay. Room dining, though available, could be significantly improved in terms of quality and variety.
Overall, while the location of Hotel Kazakhstan is unbeatable and perfect for those who want to stay in the heart of the city, the property feels overpriced given the outdated facilities and lack of variety in services. I would only recommend it to travelers with a good budget who prioritize location and heritage charm over modern amenities.
NNorehanFrom my point of view, the Holiday Inn Express Almaty is truly exceptional. The accommodations are comfortable and well-maintained, providing a relaxing environment for guests. The customer service is outstanding, with staff going above and beyond to meet guests' needs. The food offerings are diverse and delicious, catering to various tastes. The hotel's location provides breathtaking views of the surrounding area, adding to the overall experience. Additionally, Mr. Nurbek Dauitov, the front office manager, deserves special recognition for his exceptional assistance and dedication to ensuring guests have a memorable stay. His professionalism and helpfulness contribute significantly to the hotel's excellent reputation.
GGuest UserGood afternoon.
The location of the hotel is far from the center, but close to the airport. At the same time, public transport stops are nearby. There are supermarkets, cafes and restaurants nearby.
Gorgeous, tasty, powerful breakfast (varied, good and tasty products).
Not everything is perfect at the hotel (Iâm not writing to complain, but to encourage the management to invest in new beds (ours creaked) and mattresses, and we will be happy to return to you), but the staff is trying very hard. The staff is friendly, polite, pleasant, helpful, and answered âyesâ to all our requests.
The hotel has an excellent sauna, you can fry yourself to the very bones, a swimming pool with cool water, a gym, and itâs all free.
Cleaned every day, water, toiletries, towels, new sheets, etc. provided every day.
Good luck and prosperity to you!
AAlvenAiThe hotel is located in the center of Almaty. There is a big shopping mall opposite the hotel, which is very convenient for eating. The hotel is a little old, but it is cost-effective for this price range. I met several Chinese people.
