Acropol Beach Hotel

A good hotel, a Russian-speaking administrator can resolve all issues. The sea is close, there are free sun loungers on the beach, the sea was warm and clean. The food is delicious)

We vacationed in this hotel in early summer 2023. We compared different hotels and settled on Acropolis Beach. Why? 1) All inclusive. In our economically unstable years, unfortunately, hotels in Turkey have stopped offering this format at reasonable prices. Especially for 3* hotels. 2) First coastline. Man was created in such a way that he wants to relax comfortably and have views that please the eye! And the first line fully corresponds to these wishes. 3) Positive reviews and testimonials. We read a lot about this hotel, watched videos on YouTube. We realized that the hotel met our expectations, and we decided to relax according to our capabilities. What I liked: 1) Pleasant, helpful staff. Upon arrival, we were met at the reception by the administrator Natasha. A very pleasant and friendly person. But the other administrators were very friendly and communication with them was pleasant. The rest of the staff (bartender, cooks, waiters) were helpful and polite. But we ourselves tried to be polite to everyone, so they treated us kindly. 2) Home style food. Tasty, no frills, but everything is neatly served and looks appetizing. We were surprised that food was served on the grill; we rarely read in reviews that this was offered in 3* hotels. 3) The rooms are quite normal. Quite spacious. Everything worked perfectly, the air conditioner cooled, the water was hot, the refrigerator worked, the water was drained. Of course, there was something to complain about here, but in nature there are no ideal hotels and hotels in the middle price segment, especially with all-inclusive. 4) The sea is PERFECT! Transparent at any depth at which we swam. Clean, salty. From the hotel to the sea 50 meters! 5) No stupid animation or screaming children. Peace and quiet, at least on our check-in dates. Didn't like: 1) First coastline :). Yes, this is both a plus and a minus. If your windows are located on the sea, then in addition to a beautiful view you get karaoke from a local singer from a nearby cafe. Fortunately, his voice was pleasant... And he didn’t sing all night)) But with the windows closed, the noise was minimized, and since you sleep under air conditioning anyway, this is not a big minus. 2) Beach. The hotel is great, they agreed to rent some of the free places on the nearest beach. But the beach administrators do not keep it in ideal conditions. In principle, there were enough sunbeds for everyone. But the sunbeds themselves, as a rule, are broken, although this was compensated for by a thick and soft mattress. The umbrellas were old, rusty, broken, unstable, but they created shade. We could lie under them all day. It takes a man to stick them well into the sand. 3) The hotel is located purely in the resort area. There is no public transport nearby. Although the Moovit application showed a bus under the windows, in fact we never saw it. You'll have to walk to the nearest stop. If you want to get to the city center, you will have to try. But the buses are not very full and the air conditioning works in the heat. As a result, there were only pleasant memories, positive emotions and a desire to return there again thanks to the hospitality

The hotel is good, but our wallets with money and documents were stolen right from our room. As you know, only the hotel administration can enter the room. After viewing the cameras, the administrator did not reveal anything. Most likely, the administrators hid the theft from the camera. It's very disappointing that the hotel did this. Vacationers, be careful! The hotel will not help in this situation if you have a similar situation! It’s a shame that they do this to vacationers!

I stayed at this hotel in August 2023. Among the advantages: 1. Good all-inclusive cuisine - not much, but tasty and, most importantly, fresh. 2. Friendly staff (with rare exceptions) 3. Cleanliness of the rooms - cleaning upon request, but it is available 4. The rooms are old, but everything is in working order. 5. Gorgeous sea view, since the hotel is on the first line. Now about the disadvantages: 1. Unfortunately, in the evenings the main advantage - the location on the first line - “turns into a pumpkin”, since music from coastal cafes can be heard very well in the room. Keep this in mind. 2. It’s better not to use the beach opposite, but to go further to the right or left, since a stinking river flows right under the hotel windows, carrying its icy and dirty wastewater straight into the sea. 3. A logistical hole - the hotel is located in such an inconvenient location that there are no buses nearby, and you need to walk 15-20 minutes to the nearest stop on Ataturk Boulevard 4. And most importantly - the frightening indifference of the hotel staff (and most importantly, its owner) to the guests on the territory of a cat family. On the very first day, I noticed thin, hungry, crying tails attacking guests leaving the restaurant. The kittens fought with each other for every piece of food and asked for more, they were thin, intimidated, it was painful to look at them. Such a desperate situation is strange, since I am used to the fact that in Turkey, the owners of residential sites, restaurants or hotels feed the homeless people next to them, give them water, take care of them, in a word. And here it’s just hopelessness... I talked about this with the reception, and with the hotel owner, and with other employees. And if someone looked at me and with the most honest expression asserted that “they are fed here every day,” then others said that, indeed, no one feeds cats and is not going to do this, that from them only “g *obviously”, and in general, “the management will give 100 liras to everyone who catches a cat” (for what further purposes is not clear). I believed my eyes, and saw a hungry, skinny, frightened herd of small-small tails, for which the staff never poured water or brought out a single crumb of food during my entire stay. For the entire 14 days that I lived there, I brought them dry food, bought wet bags, poured water, and at the same time I noticed how the cats’ behavior changed - they became calmer, stopped appearing at the restaurant doors, began to play with each other (instead of fighting because of food), in a word, they became ordinary cheerful kittens. It was all the more painful to leave and leave them there with these soulless, callous people. But, unfortunately, if you talk to a person about compassion and mercy for the weak, and he responds to you with “****,” then nothing can correct such a callous heart. Only if someday he or his children suffer the same fate in the future, maybe he will understand something... In the meantime, dear tourists, if you relax in this hotel, please leave a little in your heart -a little warmth for little homeless kittens. Bring them a boiled egg from breakfast or a piece

We stayed at the hotel at the end of August beginning of September, for which I can give 5, (for a hotel room 3 points) this is for the food, it is very good and varied, meat, fish, chicken, everything is there, not suitable for children, there was not enough variety of soups , porridge for children, mostly second courses for me. For adults everything is fine. The room is of course old, the dryer barely breathes on the balcony, the furniture is old and not in very good condition, but it was comfortable to sleep, although I am picky, the mattress and pillows were all fine. The bathroom is also not in very good condition, but the water pressure is good, it was always hot and ran well. There are a lot of Russians in the hotel, 80% for sure). The sea is across the road, but the approach is not very flat, for children over 5 years old minimum. There is no animation or entertainment.

The hotel is generally good. The food is normal, there is not much choice, there are no specialties, it’s standard. The room is cleaned if you hang a sign. Towels are changed, but a beach towel is not provided, keep this in mind. Wi-fi in the hotel lobby works well, it worked poorly in my room, and perhaps in other rooms as well. We didn’t check in right away, but faster than expected (until 14:00), thank you for that) The location of the hotel is its main advantage. Across the road is the sea, a beautiful embankment. There are many cafes and shops nearby.

We stayed at the hotel in August 2023, the hotel is very average, everything is tired and needs repair/replacement. The impression was that the staff were not very happy with the guests (with the exception of the girls at the reception) as if they were doing a favor; if lunch is before 2 p.m., then at 2 p.m. they will start escorting you out of the dining room, turning off the lights and air conditioning :D The audience is mostly older people, from time to time you feel like you are in a boarding house, only without health services)) There is enough food, but it is monotonous. When they clean your room, if you put a sign on the door, they won’t come in without it. The hammam and sauna do not belong to the hotel; you can get there from 14 to 16, provided that no one is there. And this is unlikely. A huge plus of this hotel is its location, the sea is very close. Almost all rooms overlook the sea; there is no need to pay extra for see view. Sunshine, the beach where the hotel rents sunbeds, is some kind of pink misunderstanding. Everything is tired, burnt out, sunbeds are pressed through one another, umbrellas are constantly falling, it’s annoying. Cigarette butts are not removed. The music is booming! Sunbeds are provided on the last line; there is no bar on the beach from the hotel. The walking area along the sea is excellent, full of bars/cafes, and there are paths for running, walking, and driving. In the evening, the room is quite noisy; in the bars on the embankment they start singing (it didn’t bother us). Conclusion: if you are not going to spend a lot of time at the hotel, this is an acceptable option, but if you are looking for comfort, peace, service, I advise you to look for other options.

Wonderful holiday in July 2023! Excellent service, the sea is gorgeous. The nearest shops are 10-15 minutes at a leisurely pace. Thank you very much to the staff for their responsible attitude towards tourists’ holidays. If possible, I will definitely come back!
