Holiday Apartments in Prague

The floor hygiene wasn't very good. The bedsheets had stains and hair on them. After speaking with the front desk, we waited about half an hour for a cleaner to come and change them. The location is convenient, close to the MTR and tram stations. The service was okay, and they allowed luggage storage. The kitchen facilities were good, but the cups, bowls, and dishes need to be replaced periodically.

The location of the shop is very good, quiet in the middle of noisy, walking to Prague Square, Charles Bridge. Many restaurants near the hotel choose, praise!

Overall the location is perfect for exploring all of Prague and has a lot of access to public transport. The actual accommodation is also nice, we loved the beds and the kitchen was very convenient. However there were a few issues that are rooted in a lack of communication from the organisation. Firstly, we contacted the hotel a week before as well as the day of arrival as we were late check in so needed information on how to access our room. We were told we would be contacted with this information yet this never happened. Instead we had to phone them and wait for instructions at the airport late at night. Secondly, for the entire duration of our stay we had refurbishments/ building work in the room next door from 8am-7pm every day. This was very loud and very inconvenient especially since there was no pre warning or apology. Both these issues definitely dampened our stay but there are still many positives to be taken from Royal Prague City Apartments.

Excellent location. The apartment is a decent size and has good sound isolation, there is no sound pollution in the apartment whatsoever. For a short stay you will find whatever you need in the apartment, including but not limited to shower gel and towels, dishes and glassware, and proper coffee machine. Our stay was not pleasant though, as the AC in the living room (doubling as a second bedroom given the sofa bed) was not functional and warmed the room up. Result: 28-31 degree Celcius from 9am to midnight. Adrez sent a technician who confirmed the problem resided outside of the apartment but they later said they were unable to fix the issue during our stay. Through Trip they said ''The air conditioning in the apartment is functional — however, its performance is naturally affected by outside temperatures during periods of extreme heat. This is a system limitation, not a malfunction. Fans were provided as an additional measure to improve the guest's comfort.'', which is of course a load of BS because the bedroom's AC was functional and actually doing its job. We got a pair of fans to make do. No proactive approach from them whatsoever. They did offer to relocate us to an apartment we deemed a downgrade. They disagreed but they are not the ones that can decide what's an upgrade or a downgrade for a family traveling with an infant. In the end I did accept a 15% discount which was mostly to save myself time talking to a wall. For what it is worth, we had friends staying in a different Adrez property near the old clock and they were very satisfied with their stay.

The apartment is perfect for the price. Send all your documents i.e. passport and selfie in enough time for a smooth check in. Easy to access room/ building with a code released at check in time- no key. Building beautiful, courtyard at the back, pub opposite and convenience shop next door. Parking tricky but always found a space nearby. 5min walk to Museum and main shopping street. From there tourist spots such as Astronomical Clock on the main square are a straight walk down. Visited in winter so snowy and cold, outdoor eating possible as they provide blankets and heaters at most restaurants. Rented a car opposite the main train station. Drove to Bratislava also, it's just over 3 hours. From there Vienna was 1 hour. Well worth considering we did it in a day. More time spent in Vienna as it's huge! Felt safe in the Prague, used Bolt for taxis and public transport pass was £10 for 72 hours.

The hotel is 5min walk away from the tram station Stepanska, being away from the main circuit of the old town means you will have some level of peace at the night. The room is clean with only some level of hot water tuning is required everytime but not really a big nuisance, the TV is able to connect to Bluetooth for you to watch your movies through phone and speaker through the TV. The washing machine and dryer is free of charge only need you to stay awake for the long cleaning cycle, do bring your own detergents. I like the service of the hotel being the fact the receptionist is very helpful to my request on lending the phone call due to emergency. Staying at the hotel also grant you 10% discount to the Wellness Center on basement - do give it a try, it relaxes you on a long journey . Overall I like the stay on Mamaison and do not regret my choice of stay in Prague with this hotel.

Really comfortable apartment. Extremely clean. Booked for 6 people. It was a 3 bedroom apartment. Each room had a double bed and huge sofa, coffee table, side table with lamps and wardrobes. The dining kitchen was completely equipped with all the appliances and tableware and a dining table for 6 people. The apartment had beautiful traditional vibes with huge windows overlooking the library. It had traditional tiled kitchen and chevron wooden flooring in the bedroom. The apartment was on 1st and it was as 10min walk from the reception which was not too bad as we walked through the Christmas markets on the way. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was very clean. The apartment had a single bathroom and a single toilet, both very clean. The location is perfect for all the sightseeing places in walking distance. The clock and the Christmas markets were just 4 minutes walk and the bridge is 5 minutes walk. The apartment is above shops and restaurant which was very helpful. The uber airport taxi service is very quick and comes right to the door.

Excellent location and amenities, can cook since there's a kitchen fully equipped with pan and utensils but we didn't cook. Was really upset with the check in as there was no one at the reception when we arrived at 8 pm +. This was supposed to be self check in but I didn't receive any information on the room number and door code. The confirmation email and pin code from Trip.com did not work. There is a notice at the reception asking us to call them but this is very inconvenient for tourists. After calling them, the staff claimed that the registeration was incomplete and we spent 30mins filling in some online form which could be done in advance if the hotel emailed us earlier. We only manage to check in after 9pm and couldn't get dinner at many places since they are close. McDonald's and Burger King are nearby for those who encounter the same issue. There is a Christmas market just below the hotel too.

Great location! It's super convenient for dining and getting around on public transport. The room is incredibly spacious with large windows offering fantastic views, which was definitely my favorite part. The amenities provided are very comprehensive. Just a heads-up, the bathroom has a bathtub, and the lighting fixtures are a bit unique, so taller guests might need to be careful. There's no air conditioning, but a fan is provided. The only downside is that the elevator is extremely noisy when it's operating.
