Motel 6 Arcata, CA – Cal Poly Humboldt

Okay for one night.

There’s bright outdoor lighting around windows. Curtains do nothing to keep the light out. The doors at this it’s property were also extra noisy with the way they slam shut. Both situations made it difficult to get any sleep.

I stayed during the expensive graduation weekend. The price was much lower than most other hotels. Front desk was friendly at check in. There were a couple of insignificant issues with the room like poor lighting, and the bathroom fan was loud, but none of the issues that seriously interfere with feelings of safety and comfort that you often face with hotels priced this low. I highly recommend if you're on a budget.

our original room was not cleaned. when informed they were quick to give us a new one. changed to a clean one. We have never had that happen before and it was a bit schocking. was happy for the fast change.

Person who checked me in, I’m guessing the owner because he was there in the morning as well, was so friendly and suggested other stops for us while in the area. He also checked in to ensure we were happy with the room which was very kind. The room was standard and what you expect for a motel 6. I tend to choose the chain when traveling with dogs because they don’t charge extra.

I liked it well enough. It's a budget hotel, so hardly luxurious, but the bed was comfortable and sleep was what I went there to do. The staff people were very nice and helpful. On the minus side, I wish there had been shampoo. Even budget hotels these days provide shampoo and body lotion, but not here.

e bathroom faucet was not secure. the motel was convenient for an overnight stay, we did not need to spend much time in the room

We had pleasant stay. Everything was near by and place is very quiet and nice

I have a nice stay. The staff was friendly and the room was very clean.
