I recommend it well, very quiet place

The hotel facilities are very complete, which is very convenient for long-term family residents. The supermarket is also very close, and shopping is convenient, so you can cook for yourself, and you can minimize going out during the epidemic situation that night.

I think what stands out as a good part of my stay was the staff - very friendly, very courteous & helpful. The location is great! What stands out as very disappointing was the condition of the hotel, and how "thin" the walls are. I heard all kinds of noise from other guests every night, which made it very difficult to get sleep for work. Carpet, room areas and bathrooms are in dire need of a facelift!

We stayed at this property for four nights over Thanksgiving 2023. From the moment we arrived, very late in the evening after a long day of travel, our stay was excellent in every way! All staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful. Our one bedroom suite was perfect for the two of us. It was spacious, bed was extremely comfortable, and small kitchen located by the living area was great for warming up food and having a full size refrigerator was nice! The breakfast buffet provided ample choices for both hot and cold foods, as well as coffee, tea, juice, etc. Outside the back door from the dining area there was a large patio area which was relaxing, clean and beautiful ( pool below ). The only issue we had that was a negative was our bathtub drained very slowly, but I reported this to the front desk for maintenance to take care of, as we were leaving. Overall it was perfect choice for what we required and we will definitely be staying there again on our next trip to Austin! ( location was great as well )

This place is cheaper than other properties in the Domain area, but it's pretty dated and the rooms are tired. Service is extremely limited (no housekeeping, one person on the front desk that's all). Hallways smell of whatever's cooking in the kitchen and can be a bit noisy at night.

The door to the room stopped working and no one was able to open it. They put me in another room but all of my belongings were in the other room. I didn’t brush me teeth or change my clothes for 18 hours.

Sonesta ES Suites exceeded expectations. The room was spotless, the breakfast delicious and the staff welcoming and friendly. I would stay at Sonesta EC Suites again. Great value for the money.

The stay was great, the service was very good and the people were friendly. the breakfast not so good. Loved the peceful, wooded court yard and basket ball court for the kids.

The staff of this hotel is the best I’ve encountered at a hotel in this class. Hands down. Other than needing some TLC and updates, the place is great. Breakfast is exceptional, and the choices are nice. Location is very convenient, and the whole hotel is kept very clean. The rooms would be so much more comfortable with coffee in them, rather than just a coffee maker. Nothing is really walkable, but if you have a car, the location has a bunch of stuff very close.

Just a really nice place with friendly, helpful staff. The room was so big (2 rooms with 2 queen beds) that they let me cancel my second room, saving me a lot of money. The building is getting old, but is well-maintained. The breakfast only went from 6:30 - 8:30, but was comprehensive and delicious. In a really nice, safe area convenient to everything we needed. Good value for money.

The room was fine for our needs. We continually needed to ask for new room keys, either because we forgot them or (more often) the cards stopped working. When we asked for new keys the desk clerks never verified that we were booked into that room. This seems like a significant security problem - anyone could ask for a room key and steal from a guest. The room had a very heavy, fruity air freshener. It was highly offensive at first but was better when we opened windows.

Breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our room had an odd smell and there were bugs. The hotel was very conveniently located for the purpose of our stay.

Loved the location of the room! The only thing I can bring to attention is that the floor in the room needs to be shampooed, and the sofa needs to be replaced. Other than that, enjoyed our stay.
