Not only this hotel is a historic building, but each room has got its own character, the staff is extremely friendly and professional. To access the hotel by car can be very tricky and difficult, depending on the car size, as streets are very small. We tried the surprise 9 course Michelin menu at the restaurant. It was an interesting experience, but 9 course is only for very hungry people. Also unclear, who is the Michelin Star Chef? Overall a very pleasant stay and perfect location to explore the town.

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night on the way down to the south of France. It's too bad that it was only for 1 night :-). Very new , nice and well maintained hotel. We were greeted to a nice room upgrade on our arrival. We had dinner at the restaurant which was good and my eldest son had room service which was equally good. It was too cold to enjoy the swimming pool. They have a nice indoor garage. It was a really nice stay and it will be for sure on my list for a future stay in the area.

Just check out and write a review, especially like this hotel 1. The location is not far from the Palais des Papes, about 5 minutes walk, there are many restaurants nearby, and the downstairs is very lively. 2. The bathroom is very large, although the facilities are old, but the one-off items are relatively complete. The city of Nanfa basically does not provide toothbrushes, and there is no mouthwash, as if only floss... 3. The room is small, the bed is not big, everything is small, but very delicate, I think it is like a home in France. 4. The staff at the front desk has a southern Chinese, gentle and courteous, asking all questions very convenient and very warm and honest. 5. Booking this hotel's favorite is to have a terrace, although the stone wall is too high to see the outside, but the small lawn is really cute. The hotel's joint venture is also in Nice, and I didn't expect it to be Suisse. In Nice, Suisse is dying, under the Castle Hill, but the price of the hotel is really high. If you booked, you can check out Ctrip. I booked for one night in Booking and Ctrip. Ctrip's activities are really suitable.

I stayed at the Avignon Grand Hotel with my partner from 12 to 16 September 22 there were however a number of short comings. The first of these was that the room we had been provided with was infested with mosquitoes - we had discovered this in the middle of the night after hearing the typical mosquito sounds and in the morning we had noticed we had numerous mosquito bites on our bodies. I had complained to the hotel front desk, the staff however appeared dismissive, my fundamental point to them was that the room should have been properly disinfected of the insects prior to making it available to customers. Secondly, breakfast in the hotel was of the bare minimum, in terms of hot cooked food , only bacon and scrambled eggs were available, the latter was of poor quality and almost resembled a paste as the eggs were cooked in far too much cream and milk.Cereal, bread, croissants, yogurt and some fruit were also available. No hot water was available in the hotel in the morning of the 16 September 22. Lastly, all the TV channels were in French, not even one channel was available in English. We had booked this hotel on the understanding it was of 4 stars, given however the shortcomings above together with the standard and quality that were below customer expectations it is difficult to see how the 4 star rating and price being charged was justified.

The hotel is in a small city with the most beautiful trip this time. The whole city only needs to be walked. You can enjoy the rich ancient architecture scenery around, and friendly customs. Good restaurants are all around. There are few bars and very lively, everywhere. It is a beautiful view, the air is particularly good, and the moonlight is beautiful at night. The hotel is a 400-year-old building. A small hotel is directly built and connected. It also has many years of history. I like these poplars, pine trees, etc., looking at the inner garden. Everything is very good at the hotel, the decoration and sanitary conditions are not bad, but there are big problems at the front desk of the hotel. Not all front desk staff, but a thin middle-aged man on duty between 10pm and 11pm at the front desk was very rude. When he returned to the hotel at about 10pm on January 7, 2022, he found the door closed and rang the bell, but there was no one at the front desk. So I pressed the bell a few times, and after a while the tall, middle-aged man on duty came to the door and yelled at me as a customer, then argued with me and accused me of ringing the bell as a customer almost woke the hotel (After telling another front desk staffer the next day, the staff said the ringing was displayed on the phone with the front desk and staff, and strangely, the staff member didn't hear me through the phone while ringing last night Wait a minute, so I rang the bell a few more times). I was uncomfortable expressing the staff's attitude and the yelling seemed to be treating a madman, who replied, ”Yes, it's treating a madman.” In summary, it is not so simple to ring the bell. The professional accomplishment of the staff, and the waiting for people to receive things, obviously do not meet the needs of the hotel staff, and the face of different guests obviously feel racial discrimination, have complained, Waiting for a response from the hotel. Think twice about booking this hotel, and meeting the thin high school man can be extremely uncomfortable.

Very nice hotel for very good value. (Great value for money) not too far from the railway station TGV high speed services from here across central France. The highway is very close by and offers direct cases to a major auto route in France. Hotel staff were beet friendly and accommodating when advising us on solutions for our travel requirements this short trip. Hotel room was clean and and well equipped. Local area offers many eateries that are excellent. Hotel location is tremendous, 8-10 minutes walk to the railway station Avignon TGV. Superb location. Highly recommended.

We have stayed at the mercure next door ~5 years ago & the rooms were so hot (in July..& they showed us 3 different rooms!) that we couldn’t sleep, so we thought we would try the Kyriad this time. Even though they have the same type “central” heat/ac, I was actually able to adjust the temp in my room. We stayed in Jan & sometimes hotels in Europe have the heat on full blast(too hot!) so I was happy to be able to have some control in order to sleep well. I also appreciated how new & super clean the room was. The mini bar had a few cold drinks for sale inside & the rest was open for your items (No freezer section). The coffee supplies were very adequate👏The bathroom was spotless! Our room overlooked the square & with the windows closed, we could not hear a thing. The young lady & man working reception were very nice & their English was excellent. Best location & price that I could find for the amenities

This accommodation met my needs very adequately. It is a spacious appartment, utilitarian but comfortable. Particularly good if one is staying more than one night. I was able to walk in to the old town - about 20 minutes on foot. The bed was comfortable. The shower was hot. The staff were friendly and helpful. The wifi worked. And there is secure parking. Everything I needed.

Stayed here for 5 nights whilst visiting the area so had plenty of opportunity to assess its merits and overall I would give it a four out of five. Initially I was a bit doubtful as it seemed rather soulless but its one of those hotels that grows on you the longer you stay and we really enjoyed our time there. It's fairly small for a Best Western and situated in a commercial/industrial area to the south of Avignon and beyond what most people would consider to be a walkable distance so you need a car or you can make use of the local bus service that stops close to the hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable and had a small balcony overlooking the pool and garden which was all well-kept and pleasant to use. We also ate in the restaurant on 3 evenings and enjoyed the food but the menu is very limited with only four starter and main course options so not perfect for everyone. The big plus for the hotel was the quality of its staff who all seemed to be bi-lingual, enthusiastic and engaging, particularly Fabiola who was wonderful. If I was visiting the Avignon area again I would happily book BW Le Lavarin.

The biggest problem for the old hotel in Europe is the elevator, or it is not very small, so it is best to travel lightly. European small hotels are generally old and the equipment is not too good. The service has been counted. But I won't find a way to help you solve it.

It is impossible not to notice the high level of service provided by the staff, it is genuine kindness, humility and helpfulness. The staff are down to earth and are quick to help if there is anything you wonder about or need. The hotel is of older stucco and has an interesting history and there are beautiful details. There is also a beautiful and spacious courtyard where you can eat breakfast and smoke if desired, without disturbing others. We chose a smaller room but there are also slightly more modern rooms at a higher cost. In the smaller twin room there was nothing extra such as a minibar, coffee maker, hair dryer etc. but it worked well without this. One thing that might be good to think about, however, is not to have any biscuits in front of you, we experienced that on the day of check-out when the package was full of small ants, but apart from that, we didn't notice any bugs and the room was very fresh. They work to promote the environment and to not change towels more than necessary. The breakfast had everything that was wanted, there are two options in costs which were 6€/person and night for a cup of coffee, a cup of juice and a croissant. The other option was €12/person and night for the basic breakfast such as bread, cold cuts, hot breakfast, eggs, yogurt, pastries, coffee, tea and juice. Parking costs €13/night which is an affordable price and it is stated on their website. The private parking of our hotel will also provide you with peace of mind as you will not have to worry about finding an available space in the surrounding streets and finally security as the parking is closed by a code door and under video surveillance. However, it can be good for those who travel with a huge amount of packing and do not have the opportunity to bring it into the hotel The garage door also states that you yourself are responsible for everything you leave in the car. The garage door has a long delay, so for yours and the other cars in the garage, it may be good to stay until the door actually closes. The only downside I see with the hotel was the expensive breakfast at €48 for two people for 2 nights. Today, hotel breakfast has become a luxury item, so if you have the opportunity to have it included in the hotel price, take that option! Alternatively, if you eat at one of all the cozy cafes that are right nearby

This is a small little hotel in the heart of the city, the staff are very friendly and helpful, made us feel very welcome. Prices are good for a city centre, my room was very big and the bed was very comfy, if you wanted to be slightly picky you can say a little love could be given to the room just to tidy up some of the rough edges since it was last decorated, but this really is being picky, it was a lovely room with aircon. Breakfast was really nice, the normal pastries where there, but some specialty breaks and cakes, and lots and lots of jams, massive selection, very pleased with breakfast and I would recommend taking it. My room overlooked the main street and with the windows closed I couldn't hear anything, very quiet and in a great location.

The hotel is located in the old city and needs to find a place to park by yourself. But fortunately, we can find a nearby location every time. The hotel room was rebuilt from an old house, the bathroom was slightly smaller, but it was not worth mentioning compared to the style of the old city. Bathing is enough. The room intimately adds heating equipment in different locations, so there is no need to worry about the cold in winter. There is also a family-style breakfast, elegant and delicious. The boss is very interesting and will introduce the hotel and nearby dining very interestingly. Warm and rich in French humor, it is a very good person. Usually walking to the nearby church market or the papal palace is very close. We drove to Arles and Stone City, also within an hour. It is recommended to experience the style of the medieval ancient city.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and modern. The restaurant was a plus. The room was fine, except the internet had really slow connection. Did not like sharing a room when there was a bathroom with no sink (how do you watch your hands when your roommate is in the shower area?). The shower area had only a curtain - so no sound protection. Could not get the room cold enough even with the lowest setting for temperature and the fan on high. We were both too hot.

I’m not a snob but I’d like to think there’s a minimum level of cleanliness every hotel should provide regardless of the price. Well this Ibis Budget defied all expectations…in the worst way possible. Never have I felt so dirty staying at a hotel. The walls and floors were covered in a bizarre sticky residue. The bathroom was covered in water stains and the toilet paper was oddly crispy. Not to mention the mice scurrying around the courtyard during breakfast. As for the positives, at least the staff were nice.

An interesting stay . As a silver Accor member I wasn’t overly impressed with the welcome. . It’s not all about the free drink , which we didn’t get , but no advise offered re the local restaurants , places to go or even the free map which of course was in the information stand . But would have been a nice touch to have been offered it The room was clean . The towels and bed clean . However thankfully for us we are both 5 foot 1 thus the smallness of the room not a problem The bathroom is small and you have to have the door open for space . The shower is great though , hot and powerful . Towels fine The room walls are paper thin and noisy loud guests don’t give a good nights sleep . But for the price ok for overnight stop or our case two nights We had the breakfast which was worth it at 10euros . Selection of cold meats , bread , yoghurt , scrambled and boiled egg , pigs in blanket , meat and cheeses . croissant and cakes plenty of hot drinks and orange or apple juice For us the only side is the parking which effectively is not the hotels problem however you need to be aware . The parking at the back near Chemine de courtine isn’t safe . We had our van broken into and items stolen . At night the road is full of white vans offering “ladies” with the white light on for ‘services’ As I say not the hotels fault but I feel the need to share our break in so folks can avoid parking there . We ate at the Novotel a short walk up the road . Exquisite food and service and great price Forewarned is better than the surprise

Small room, which was probably dependent on the type of room booked, the description was so drastic but not to draw where practically only bed took the room and between bed and wall at the foot you just passed through. No cups or glasses in the room, the pipe water (no bottle of water for the guest) had to be taken directly from the hand! at the washing basin. The bathroom was clean and completely OK. But the wacky door to the room was unappetitely old-flecky. The lift was terribly old and you were afraid to stay sticked. The breakfast room was very nice, but when 2 more guests came to us, they had to set up new coffee for them because the cane was empty, which took, also the few plates of salami and cheese had almost eaten from us - the poor guests after us. The evening before we wanted to take dinner in this moodful room, which wasn't going, just in another restaurant room (also ok, but not so beautiful), but the next evening we saw guests at the big beautiful fireplace in the “breaking room” eat there.. I find that without explanation a bad service. in the early evening. Because of the lift and lack of comfort in the room, I would book somewhere else at the next trip despite the location directly at the Pope Palace.

We have stayed at the mercure next door ~5 years ago & the rooms were so hot (in July..& they showed us 3 different rooms!) that we couldn’t sleep, so we thought we would try the Kyriad this time. Even though they have the same type “central” heat/ac, I was actually able to adjust the temp in my room. We stayed in Jan & sometimes hotels in Europe have the heat on full blast(too hot!) so I was happy to be able to have some control in order to sleep well. I also appreciated how new & super clean the room was. The mini bar had a few cold drinks for sale inside & the rest was open for your items (No freezer section). The coffee supplies were very adequate👏The bathroom was spotless! Our room overlooked the square & with the windows closed, we could not hear a thing. The young lady & man working reception were very nice & their English was excellent. Best location & price that I could find for the amenities

Small room, which was probably dependent on the type of room booked, the description was so drastic but not to draw where practically only bed took the room and between bed and wall at the foot you just passed through. No cups or glasses in the room, the pipe water (no bottle of water for the guest) had to be taken directly from the hand! at the washing basin. The bathroom was clean and completely OK. But the wacky door to the room was unappetitely old-flecky. The lift was terribly old and you were afraid to stay sticked. The breakfast room was very nice, but when 2 more guests came to us, they had to set up new coffee for them because the cane was empty, which took, also the few plates of salami and cheese had almost eaten from us - the poor guests after us. The evening before we wanted to take dinner in this moodful room, which wasn't going, just in another restaurant room (also ok, but not so beautiful), but the next evening we saw guests at the big beautiful fireplace in the “breaking room” eat there.. I find that without explanation a bad service. in the early evening. Because of the lift and lack of comfort in the room, I would book somewhere else at the next trip despite the location directly at the Pope Palace.

Not only this hotel is a historic building, but each room has got its own character, the staff is extremely friendly and professional. To access the hotel by car can be very tricky and difficult, depending on the car size, as streets are very small. We tried the surprise 9 course Michelin menu at the restaurant. It was an interesting experience, but 9 course is only for very hungry people. Also unclear, who is the Michelin Star Chef? Overall a very pleasant stay and perfect location to explore the town.

I’m not a snob but I’d like to think there’s a minimum level of cleanliness every hotel should provide regardless of the price. Well this Ibis Budget defied all expectations…in the worst way possible. Never have I felt so dirty staying at a hotel. The walls and floors were covered in a bizarre sticky residue. The bathroom was covered in water stains and the toilet paper was oddly crispy. Not to mention the mice scurrying around the courtyard during breakfast. As for the positives, at least the staff were nice.

Sehr charmantes Hotel mit freundlichem Empfang. Liegt ruhig aber trotzdem sehr günstig innerhalb der Stadtmauer. Punkteabzug gibt es zum einen für die Dusche. Die ist wirklich sehr klein und man bleibt ständig an der Armatur hängen und macht das Wasser an/aus, kalt oder heiß - je nach dem. Außerdem war der Duschgel-Spender leer - es waren dafür kleine Tütchen mit Duschgel vorhanden. Auch sonst ist das Badezimmer sehr klein. Weiterer Punktabzug beim Frühstück. Der Kaffee hatte zwar eine schwarze Farbe aber keinen Geschmack. Das war praktisch heißes Wasser. Und das Brot/Baguette war teigig und nicht richtig gebacken. Croissant war dagegen gut. Für manche ein Pluspunkt, für andere geht es gar nicht: es hat Katzen im Hotel
