We arrived at noon and had Chengde cuisine on the fourth floor, which was very authentic, tasty, and reasonably priced. The hotel staff were friendly, and the rooms had a separate wet and dry area, were clean, hygienic, and well-equipped. The breakfast spread was extensive, and they refilled dishes quickly. My family found it very comfortable and were all very satisfied."

"The hotel experience was great – it felt safe, clean, and the service was excellent. There's a security guard in the parking lot who is very responsible, and the staff in the lobby are attentive and warm. The room was truly spotless. The millet porridge for breakfast tasted just like homemade – fragrant, thick, with a nice layer of 'rice oil' on top. I'd definitely recommend it to my friends."

GGuest UserThe B&B is small but feels cozy everywhere. The owner is very kind; they specially drove us to the Jinshanling Great Wall entrance in the morning, even though it's only a 7-8 minute walk from the hotel. I've been to several sections of the Great Wall, and I've always wished to stay in a hotel where I could see it! Today, that wish finally came true. You can see the Great Wall from the third floor of the B&B! Very comfortable.

AAnonymous UserHands down, the best guesthouse at Jinshanling Great Wall. The location is superb, just a five-minute walk to the ticket office. The rooms are new and well-equipped. Facing south and north, with two windows, the natural light is excellent. The bathroom is especially good, spacious and even has a window. On the second floor, there's a large public balcony with tables and chairs, perfect for drying clothes or enjoying a cup of tea. The restaurant serves delicious food at very reasonable prices. You absolutely must try the amazing dipping sauce made by the owner!

FFrankBayThe views are fantastic! On the day of departure, the front desk even sent a text message with directions for driving there, which was incredibly thoughtful and considerate. It took about two hours to drive from Beijing to the hotel. We pre-registered our car and were able to park it in the parking lot. They even have fast-charging stations.
We also pre-booked the public hot spring and enjoyed the Eye Stone hot spring. The breakfast quality was also excellent. I highly recommend coming here for the experience!

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Their kindness, warmth, and attention to detail were exceptional throughout our stay. Every interaction felt sincere and heartfelt, which made the experience even more special.
The property itself is stunning. Surrounded by mountains and nature, it offers a peaceful atmosphere that feels like a true escape from everyday life. The infinity pool was absolutely breathtaking—especially at sunset. Swimming while overlooking the mountains felt like something from a dream.
Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail had clearly been carefully considered, and the views from the room were spectacular.
The breakfast and afternoon tea were another highlight. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, delicious, and presented with great care. More importantly, you could feel the effort and hospitality behind every meal. It wasn’t just food—it was an experience that reflected the passion and dedication of the team.
What truly sets this place apart is the people. The staff consistently went above and beyond to make sure every guest felt cared for and at home.
I have stayed in many hotels and guesthouses, but this place is truly special. If you are looking for beautiful scenery, tranquility, exceptional service, and a memorable experience, I cannot recommend it highly enough. We will definitely be returning in the future.

GGuest UserI stayed at the Puning Hotel for two nights and three days, and it was an amazing value. The hotel has a traditional Chinese garden style, making you feel like you've stepped into a secluded paradise. On the rooftop, I enjoyed coffee, a gentle breeze, mountain views, and the sight of the Chan Temple – a perfect blend of classical and modern. Traveling solo, I visited museums, paid respects at the Chan Temple, explored the local market, and even fed the hotel's pet deer. It was a beautiful way to enjoy some leisure time away from my busy work life. The front desk, room service, and dining staff were all excellent, and the owner was very kind. All in all, it was love at first sight.

GGuest UserThe location is better, next to the half tiger line, it is very convenient to Bailitian Road and Yunzhong Grassland. Especially you can drive a few minutes towards the Yunzhong Grassland, you can find a mountain bag that is convenient to climb, and you can watch the sunrise and sunset.
The room is relatively clean and you can see the mountain view. Now the outdoor temperature difference is large, but the room has sufficient heating and hot water.
Parking is also convenient for eating, and the service attitude is good!

It rained one day, and the service staff cleaned the room and replaced supplies on time despite the rain. The hotel management can consider the guests. Even after it rained all day, they still used the short rain break to carry out performances and bonfire activities for tourists in the evening. The actors still worked hard to complete the performance despite the wet ground, low temperature and the size of the audience. , touching. One detail is that in this weather condition, the hotel owner (I think his surname is Bao, I can’t remember clearly) has been accompanying the performers at the venue. GGuest UserLocation is unbeatable!! The hotel is right before the entrance gate to the Jinshanling Great Wall cable car station and trail heads. You can actually hike up to good view points on the Great Wall injust 30-40 minutes. The hotel is in good condition. The room is mostly clean and well maintained. The AC works well. Toilet has a weird smell but didn't bother me that much. Wish they provided conditioner (only shampoo and shower gel were in the bathroom). Restaurant has many options for Chinese dishes and so is the buffet breakfast. If I come back, definitely book it again for the excellent location.
