"The hotel is located in a relatively bustling area, making shopping very convenient. The parking lot gets busy on weekends, but there's still always a spot for hotel guests. We arrived at noon and had Chengde cuisine on the fourth floor, which was very authentic, tasty, and reasonably priced. The hotel staff were friendly, and the rooms had a separate wet and dry area, were clean, hygienic, and well-equipped. The breakfast spread was extensive, and they refilled dishes quickly. My family found it very comfortable and were all very satisfied."

"The hotel experience was great – it felt safe, clean, and the service was excellent. There's a security guard in the parking lot who is very responsible, and the staff in the lobby are attentive and warm. The room was truly spotless. The millet porridge for breakfast tasted just like homemade – fragrant, thick, with a nice layer of 'rice oil' on top. I'd definitely recommend it to my friends."

GGuest UserWe hiked the Great Wall of China from Gubeikou to Jinshanling and chose this hotel to rest after the day. The accommodation is ideally located, right next to the entrance gate to the Wall. The host was very welcoming, and the room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. All the beautiful photos you see of his establishment were taken by the host himself! Since we were there during the off-season and most shops were closed, the host offered to cook dinner and breakfast for us. He is a delicious cook. He also offers taxi services and was able to take us to Gubeikou train station the next morning for our return trip to Beijing. We are extremely grateful for this wonderful stay in Jinshanling and would gladly return!

GGuest UserLove their home cooked dishes! We rather go back to hotel for meal after Gubei water town. The couple bosses were so sweet to let us indicate spiciness and accommodate our minor diet restriction. They dun have noodles but they used alternative ingredients to make some gourd dish that tasted close to noodles.
The rooms were big, in SG standard, one bed was queen size and the other was super single. Their bathroom was newly renovated and love their heater installed at shower cubicle, making it more comfortable to shower in cold weather.
The couple bosses provided great tips on local transport to help us get to/fro Jinshanling for sunset and sunrise opportunities. They are situated around 5min drive from Jinshanling ticketing.
Love the room doorstep views overlooking the geese and house dog. We will choose this hotel next time!

MMeiyouruguo1992This was my second stay at the hotel. Wulingshan Aranya has added a lighthouse park and a mountain-view restaurant, making it great for families with kids. Right behind the hotel, there's another restaurant and a grassy play area. For breakfast, you can choose from different options. We stayed two nights, so we tried Xiaoye's Japanese breakfast once and Shiwei Shangu's Chinese breakfast once, both of which were quite good. The complimentary public hot spring was also a nice touch, and it wasn't crowded, so the experience was pleasant. My only minor complaints are that the hotel's shuttle service is infrequent, leading to long waits during peak hours, and the staff's attitude wasn't as warm as during my previous visit. Also, we had to specifically ask for the raindrop cake and matcha experience, which wasn't offered as enthusiastically as before.

BBianzhouxishiI booked this guesthouse with a 'let's see' attitude. It was pouring rain on the way there, and I almost turned back, but when I arrived, I was incredibly impressed!
I brought my own stove to barbecue in the yard, and the guesthouse owner (brother) was super patient, helping us prepare everything, even starting the fire and teaching us some tricks. He was also mindful not to disturb us, leaving after he showed us what to do – truly enthusiastic and nice!
Also, the guesthouse owner (sister) was fantastic. The next morning, she made us a huge breakfast spread. There was so much food that the two of us were stuffed, only managing to finish two plates.
The timing of our visit was perfect. There were very few people in the courtyard, almost like having the whole place to ourselves, which made for an amazing experience! The weather was also very comfortable, neither too hot nor too cold, and walking along the path was incredibly refreshing.
I'm planning to go back next time with friends and my dog, and also try the whole roasted lamb that was featured on CCTV2! 😍

The hotel has a traditional Chinese garden style, making you feel like you've stepped into a secluded paradise. On the rooftop, I enjoyed coffee, a gentle breeze, mountain views, and the sight of the Chan Temple – a perfect blend of classical and modern. Traveling solo, I visited museums, paid respects at the Chan Temple, explored the local market, and even fed the hotel's pet deer. It was a beautiful way to enjoy some leisure time away from my busy work life. The front desk, room service, and dining staff were all excellent, and the owner was very kind. All in all, it was love at first sight.

GGuest UserThe location is better, next to the half tiger line, it is very convenient to Bailitian Road and Yunzhong Grassland. Especially you can drive a few minutes towards the Yunzhong Grassland, you can find a mountain bag that is convenient to climb, and you can watch the sunrise and sunset.
The room is relatively clean and you can see the mountain view. Now the outdoor temperature difference is large, but the room has sufficient heating and hot water.
Parking is also convenient for eating, and the service attitude is good!

It rained one day, and the service staff cleaned the room and replaced supplies on time despite the rain. The hotel management can consider the guests. Even after it rained all day, they still used the short rain break to carry out performances and bonfire activities for tourists in the evening. The actors still worked hard to complete the performance despite the wet ground, low temperature and the size of the audience. , touching. One detail is that in this weather condition, the hotel owner (I think his surname is Bao, I can’t remember clearly) has been accompanying the performers at the venue. It can be seen that the management is very attentive. There are also shortcomings. There are few types of breakfast. I hope it can be improved. All in all, this experience was quite satisfactory. The child said that she felt a sense of romance and reluctance. Unfortunately, it was cloudy during the two nights we stayed☁️, and we didn’t see the Milky Way, which made the baby feel the feeling of regret and expectation. GGuest UserLocation is unbeatable!! The hotel is right before the entrance gate to the Jinshanling Great Wall cable car station and trail heads. You can actually hike up to good view points on the Great Wall injust 30-40 minutes. The hotel is in good condition. The room is mostly clean and well maintained. The AC works well. Toilet has a weird smell but didn't bother me that much. Wish they provided conditioner (only shampoo and shower gel were in the bathroom). Restaurant has many options for Chinese dishes and so is the buffet breakfast. If I come back, definitely book it again for the excellent location.
