Chengde Hotels with Pools

I took my parents to Jinshanling for a three-day, two-night off-peak getaway. **Environment:** The hotel's location is excellent. Right outside, you'll find restaurants and a bakery, and just a short walk away is a large lawn. The interior environment is simple and quiet. **Service:** What's truly commendable is that I added Si Han from the front desk on WeChat during check-in. She was very gentle and polite in person, and always resolved all our issues promptly. Because I was with my parents, she often anticipated our needs. The next time I go to Jinshanling, I'll definitely look for her again. **Private Hot Spring Experience (2 hours):** We used the private hot spring for two consecutive days. It's indeed much smaller than the one at Wulingshan, and the tea and snacks provided weren't as refined. However, the excellent service made up for it.

The price is very high, the small courtyard is also very warm, the farmhouse dishes are fresh and delicious, swinging, table tennis table, a few children have a great time playing together, will choose here next time.

I went to Saihanba on November 1 and booked a loft room in this hotel in Weichang Town. Because we had to return to Beijing early the next morning, we stayed here at night after visiting Saihanba. It was very close to the highway. This is simply a surprise in this trip囍囍囍囍~ The hotel as a whole is very new, and the decoration is as luxurious as a palace. It really made us feel like we were treated like a royal aristocrat. LOFT is children's favorite. It is on the top ten floors of the hotel. It is clean and tidy, with complete settings, spacious space and comfortable layout. The decoration style is similar to that of a palace, with flowers and birds soft furnishings complementing each other. The fourth-floor corridor can directly lead to the VIP building for dining. The corridor with carved beams and painted buildings is beautiful. It’s a little cold on November, but outdoor dining is also possible. Most of them are private rooms, which are very suitable for family gatherings. The prices of various dishes are moderate, the taste is very good, and the dishes are large! There was still a lot left after three people had three dishes and one soup. The hot spring ticket was given as a gift. The children's play area is small and suitable for babies. Overall, it's a pretty good place. The food is good and the accommodation is good. I hope to come back next year for a summer vacation!

Overall it's very good, less than 500, and it's very suitable to bring water park tickets for two mornings during the National Day Golden Week. It is basically configured as a four-star hotel, with clean sanitary facilities and free parking. The room is large and the bed is very comfortable. It is a 45-minute drive from Jinshanling Great Wall and a ten-minute drive from Luanping City. Highly recommended for a family vacation, but unfortunately I didn't get to experience the swimming pool. It's just that some guests are of poor quality and make loud noises in the middle of the night, and the room staff have given proper warnings, 🙏 Breakfast is good, average, with freshly ground coffee

This Chengde trip to the Huanyu Holiday Hotel was a great experience: the hotel is close to the Wulie River and a 15-minute walk from the main entrance of the Mountain Resort. It is very convenient to travel. The front desk intimately upgraded the river view bed room for us, and the elderly and children had a good rest. The hotel terrace is very popular with children, with its own parking lot, self-driving travel is very worry-free, breakfast is rich in variety, taste online, the whole process of eating and living comfortably, play is particularly comfortable.

The grassland in winter is as beautiful as ever. This is the transfer station from Beijing to Wuyuan. It is suitable to stay here on Friday night. This hotel room is relatively large and the bedding is more comfortable.

The hotel has complete supporting facilities, including fitness, swimming, sauna, and karaoke. The room is clean and sanitary. As soon as you open the door, you will feel the Instagram style. The big bed is super spacious, and it is stress-free for two adults and two children to take a nap. Unexpectedly, there are also Lego toys and a small tent! The baby is having fun and the mother is relieved! In addition, I highly recommend their 5-story barbecue shop! I haven't even found such delicious and authentic barbecue in Beijing! The taste is amazing! There are no blind spots! The picky kids who are used to staying in various 5-star hotels said they haven't stayed here enough! On the way home, they were still discussing what to play next time haha! Conscience evaluation, it is definitely No. 1 in Kuancheng.

Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, so I'm giving it a 4.5-star rating. What I liked most was the hotel's core strengths: the room facilities were complete and new, spotlessly clean, and the bedding was comfortable, making for a very relaxing stay. The hot spring area was fantastic, with a wide variety of pools and clear water. After soaking, I felt completely relaxed, and all my fatigue vanished. I especially loved the infinity hot spring pool. I do have a few small suggestions: First, it would be perfect if the hot spring area could add a body scrubbing service. For many, a good scrub is a must-have with hot springs, and it would make the experience even more complete. Second, during holiday periods, there were many guests, and sometimes calls for service were a bit delayed. I understand staff might be stretched thin, but I hope the service process can be optimized. Third, the fitness center on the third floor was really too cold in winter; it was impossible to take off my jacket while working out. I suggest relocating the gym.

I don’t speak Chinese, but the staff there were very friendly and helpful. From checking in to checking out, the front desk staff helped me like a personal assistant. She even scheduled a massage and taxi service. Local guests I met at the hot pools were also very nice and welcoming. This is somewhat old place, but I like places with history. Be aware of the large portion of dishes you get at the restaurant. I couldn’t finish all the dishes as a solo traveler.

The hotel boasts a beautiful environment and fresh air, and both the facilities and cleanliness are impeccable. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were delicious. Overall, the service was satisfactory. However, I have to complain about a front desk staff member who answered the phone between 7 and 10 PM on the 31st. The first time I reported the washing machine wasn't working, she actually told me it was leaking and advised me not to use it. I ended up fixing and using it myself. The second time I called about the shower water not getting hot, her response was even more ridiculous: she told me to just keep running the water until it got hot. I wasted nearly half an hour, and the water never got warm. In the end, a housekeeping staff member came and simply inserted the gas card, which solved the problem. What's worse is her terrible attitude; she was argumentative and refused to admit her incompetence in handling issues, acting as if she knew everything. She definitely deserves a bad review! On another note, the hotel is very close to Jinshanling Great Wall, which is absolutely worth a visit!
