The accommodation was newly built, clean, and well maintained. The price was reasonable, and everything was excellent. I would highly recommend it to travelers who are driving their own vehicle.

The highlight of our trip to china. Highly recommend staying here for your trip to Jinshanling. We arrived to train station around 5pm and were driven straight to wall. He sorted our wall tickets and then picked us up after we’d finishing (1 min drive). Food was delicious. You are really in their home. In the morning we walked the 3 min walk to gate and up for sunrise. Just us and maybe 8 others in the whole wall. Most amazing stay- you must do it!

There are deer, black pigs, and poultry nearby. You can climb a small hill to the observation deck to enjoy the breeze, bask in the sun on a lounge chair, watch ducks swimming in the water, and see bubbles bursting in the sun. There's also a big, spoiled dog. The cafe is perfect for playing chess and reading. It's a perfect place to lie down and daydream. Falling asleep under the starry sky with the sound of gurgling water is quiet and comfortable. A light rain in the morning brings another scene. The breakfast is simple but delicious, especially the pickled vegetables I pickled myself. I like it here and will come again.

It's very enjoyable to watch a movie on the huge projection. After a day of play, taking a bath in the big bathtub at night can eliminate a day's fatigue. There are also drinks, souvenirs and afternoon tea on the day of arrival. The owner and staff of the B&B are very kind and down-to-earth. The owner also recommended a free attraction, which is great! We were scared of large crowds at the wall, and followimg many online recommendation we found the Jinshanling section. This hotel is at the great location a short walk from the mid enterance to the wall section, the Gubeikou train station is also very reachable from the Beijingbei (North) train station. It is also quite affordable to reach the place by Didi (550 yuan from the Beijing airport). The place is clean, and the food really stands out as quite amazing, the prices are also very low, for room and food. Just tell the owner you would want a breakfast and you will be served one first thing in the morning. The ladies are also super nice and very hospitable to the foreign turists.

The Hotel is located at a busy central road. Lots of shops around and a good popular grocery store. The staff is welcoming and helpful as it can be. 5 stars. The room is small but okay. The bed is comfortable like most chinese beds. The bathroom is super tiny and had some plumbing problems also the grey water from the shower runs across the floor to the sink, bear in bind when you put dowm a towel for your feet. The light in all rooms is very dark and everything in the room was laying under a urine smell caused by the aircon. That's the reason we would not stay here again. The breakfast is great but the room is too small to fit all guests, so it gets super busy. Plus point: you can tale your bicycle to the rooms.

The B&B is in a prime location. There is a No. 28 bus to the Mountain Resort and a No. 516 bus to Chengde South Station at the door, which is very convenient for going out. The interior layout is warm, the lighting is soft, the sanitation is clean, the quilt is of appropriate thickness, and the surroundings are quiet, suitable for sleeping. The most thoughtful thing is that there are snacks such as candy and biscuits in the house to relieve stress and relieve hunger. The building is backed by Sengfeng Mountain, surrounded by lush vegetation, and there is a winding mountain road.
