首先環境美到心坎裏——小院佈置得精緻温馨，處處都能看出老闆的用心，拍照根本停不下來！衞生更是無可挑剔，房間乾淨得發光，床品還有陽光的味道，強迫症患者表示極度舒適。
最讓人感動的是老闆的服務！完全像家人一樣貼心：主動開車帶我們去景區，當免費導遊一路講解；根據天氣幫我們規劃最佳路線，連冷門打卡點都安排上了；聽説我們想嘗當地特色，還給我們講利弊，省了很多錢，少踩很多坑，大哥還直接現做了一桌菜，手藝堪比大廚！
和對象連住兩天根本不想走，還想多待兩天，可是長者累了。我倆説了有機會還要來。老闆還幫我們聯繫了景區優惠票，晚上一起在院子燒烤看星星。這種把客人當朋友對待的真誠，在商業化景區實在太難得了！已經安利給所有朋友，下次一定要組隊

GGuest UserWe hiked the Great Wall of China from Gubeikou to Jinshanling and chose this hotel to rest after the day. The accommodation is ideally located, right next to the entrance gate to the Wall. The host was very welcoming, and the room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. All the beautiful photos you see of his establishment were taken by the host himself! Since we were there during the off-season and most shops were closed, the host offered to cook dinner and breakfast for us. He is a delicious cook. He also offers taxi services and was able to take us to Gubeikou train station the next morning for our return trip to Beijing. We are extremely grateful for this wonderful stay in Jinshanling and would gladly return!

The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and it is also quite large. The disadvantage is that although the bathroom has a partition, there is no door. It is a bit awkward for two people to live in and the other person to go to the toilet.
It would be better if there was another table or counter in the room. There is no place to put the water cup, and the water can only be boiled in the bathroom, which is not very good. In addition, there is no drinking cup provided.
The shower head is not very useful, and the water flow is not very large.
The breakfast is average, only millet porridge (no soy milk, milk, coffee), with some small flower rolls, small buns, etc.
The homestay has lunch, dinner, etc., and you can order. The taste is OK, but the price is expensive. Example: A bowl of ordinary steamed rice costs 5 yuan, and no bowls and plates are provided. You must buy simple bowls and chopsticks for dining, and a set of single charges costs 2 yuan (a bowl of rice is higher than that of a five-star hotel).
At night, the lights outside the courtyard are on for a long time. The curtains on one side of the room are simple and do not block the light. Figure 1 shows the translucent curtain.

GGuest UserThe hotel is directly opposite the Bifengmen parking lot, and it's about a 20-minute walk to Lizheng Gate of the Mountain Resort. The quad room with bunk beds was very family-friendly for our family with two children.
While the hotel's facilities are fairly basic, I must particularly praise their excellent 9.9 Mountain Resort day tour and the front desk staff.
First, regarding the Mountain Resort day tour: it lasted a full 5 hours, and our guide, Xiao Qi, didn't waste a single minute. He provided thorough explanations, meticulously planned our route, and there were absolutely no sales pitches or additional charges. For such an honest and dedicated guide, the hotel deserves a huge commendation!
And then there's the front desk staff – every single person was beaming with smiles. They offered detailed information, provided attentive service, and went above and beyond to assist with any request. They even helped us cut a watermelon we bought, booked tickets for a show, and thoughtfully provided cushions for us as we were heading out. Truly heartwarming service!
Hidden gem: Just down the stairs next to the hotel is the Temple of Confucius. Plus, there's a highly popular lamb soup spot nearby, serving delicious *shaobing* (sesame flatbreads)!

VValentin VagabondThis is a nice and clean hotel close to restaurants and shops, and they accepted me as a foreigner without a problem.
But it was the very first time on my two year long bicycle journey that I had to leave my bicycle outside the hotel in a car park. I know that China is a safe country, because there are security cameras everywhere, but if something happens to my bike, it might be the end of my journey.
The other disturbing thing was that the staff was talking very loud in the corridor at 6.30 am and I couldn't get enough sleep. Please keep in mind that people want to rest and sleep .You can talk to each other in a more polite way.

GGuest UserThe location is better, next to the half tiger line, it is very convenient to Bailitian Road and Yunzhong Grassland. Especially you can drive a few minutes towards the Yunzhong Grassland, you can find a mountain bag that is convenient to climb, and you can watch the sunrise and sunset.
The room is relatively clean and you can see the mountain view. Now the outdoor temperature difference is large, but the room has sufficient heating and hot water.
Parking is also convenient for eating, and the service attitude is good!

GGuest UserWe were scared of large crowds at the wall, and followimg many online recommendation we found the Jinshanling section.
This hotel is at the great location a short walk from the mid enterance to the wall section, the Gubeikou train station is also very reachable from the Beijingbei (North) train station. It is also quite affordable to reach the place by Didi (550 yuan from the Beijing airport).
The place is clean, and the food really stands out as quite amazing, the prices are also very low, for room and food. Just tell the owner you would want a breakfast and you will be served one first thing in the morning. The ladies are also super nice and very hospitable to the foreign turists.

The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, the soundproofing was good, and the sleep was very stable. Just across the road from the hotel is the Jinlong Shopping Plaza. The front desk service is very enthusiastic, the breakfast is quite rich, and the room is fully equipped and clean. GGuest UserThe room is in line with the price, some simple but very clean. The boss and the waiter are very warm and the service is in place. The dishes are also delicious and the children like it very much. The only thing that makes people uncomfortable is that they didn't say that they would charge when they helped send the ticket gate. I heard the proprietress say that after breakfast, I helped send the ticket gate of the Great Wall. After climbing the Great Wall, I asked me to call again. They came to pick it up. If they didn't mention how much money, they defaulted to the free service. As a result, at checkout, each person was 10 yuan a way, and we received 80 yuan for a big and three small back and forth. If you tell us in advance that this is a fee service will be better, we can have our own choice whether to accept this service. I should also ask if it is free first.
