It's really excellent, far exceeding my expectations. The environment is great, and it's convenient to get around. Most importantly, the owner is incredibly helpful. The stay was very comfortable, the room was spacious and even had smart technology – a lazy person's dream! The owner promptly resolved any issues and was very thoughtful, even providing small gifts during exams. It's truly unbeatable value for money and has become my top choice for hotels. The bedding was also very comfortable, and hot water was always available.

Location: this is a one-minute walk from the Middle Gate / entrance to the Jinshanling Great Wall (the best location for an early start as the gate opens as early as 4-5am) and has great value for money compared to other farmstays or hotels with this proximity to the entrance. Cleaniness: spacious and clean room with all the necessary amenities, though most are single-use so bring your own if you would like to be environmentally-conscious. The bathroom also had only a half-door so there was a chance that water from the showerhead may spill out a bit. Service: the host was super friendly and knowledgeable. Ms. Li is able to tell you about the best hiking paths, hiking time, and ways to get around / get back. She can also help you arrnage transport to nearby Gubei Watertown or tell you how to get back to city centre Beijing if you ask. As all farmstays do they have their own restaurant that can cook just about any typical home-cooked meals (and they are flexible with portions and pricing, depending on the size of your group). There is a small shop area at reception if you need some last-minute supplies for the Great Wall (food and drinks mostly). 100% recommended for those who wish to get an early start to the Great Wall with a decent night's sleep and some comfort meals.

I came here for the 2026 Jinshanling Great Wall Ultra Marathon. This hotel is definitely the best and only choice for participants due to its super close proximity to the starting line. Although it's an economy hotel, it truly exceeded my expectations (referring specifically to the new building; I haven't stayed in the old one so I can't comment). The owner is incredibly kind and generous. After the race, my checkout time had passed, but they specially found a room for me to take a shower, which was a huge blessing for someone returning from a mountain run. The food at the guesthouse was also good and very convenient. This will definitely be my top choice for any future visits to Jinshanling Great Wall.

A very enjoyable trip. Wuling Mountain in winter wasn't as cold as I imagined. The guesthouse reception was excellent; the manager sent a lot of information about the park and the guesthouse's location in advance, providing thoughtful and responsive service. The guesthouse was very warm, with underfloor heating and air conditioning. The rooms were very cozy and fully equipped. I really admire the owner's aesthetic sense; each room is full of art, and the kids guessed the owner must be an art student. I wonder if they're right? There were also two adorable kittens in the park, unafraid of people. The private hot spring experience was also fantastic. My first experience at Wuling Mountain was perfect! 💯

The highlight of our trip to china. Highly recommend staying here for your trip to Jinshanling. We arrived to train station around 5pm and were driven straight to wall. He sorted our wall tickets and then picked us up after we’d finishing (1 min drive). Food was delicious. You are really in their home. In the morning we walked the 3 min walk to gate and up for sunrise. Just us and maybe 8 others in the whole wall. Most amazing stay- you must do it!

We were returning from a group tour to Inner Mongolia and decided to visit Jinshanling Great Wall on the way. We found Qingfeng Inn on Trip.com. It's clean, hygienic, and the environment is lovely. Both accommodation and dining are very convenient. The owner is super friendly; we were exhausted after coming down from the Great Wall, and the kids didn't want to walk anymore, so the owner even came to pick us up. When we left, they even gave us some cucumbers from their own garden for the road – truly appreciate it! Highly recommend staying and eating here.

The Hotel is located at a busy central road. Lots of shops around and a good popular grocery store. The staff is welcoming and helpful as it can be. 5 stars. The room is small but okay. The bed is comfortable like most chinese beds. The bathroom is super tiny and had some plumbing problems also the grey water from the shower runs across the floor to the sink, bear in bind when you put dowm a towel for your feet. The light in all rooms is very dark and everything in the room was laying under a urine smell caused by the aircon. That's the reason we would not stay here again. The breakfast is great but the room is too small to fit all guests, so it gets super busy. Plus point: you can tale your bicycle to the rooms.

Facilities are sufficient for our type of travel; that are trekking and Great Wall viewing. Location is excellent with easy access to different parts of the of the Great Wall. Breakfast and dinner were at the stay and the simple local cuisine of good food suited our taste buds .. Topping all is the extra mile service by the owner 崔老版 and his family. We had a beautiful and memorable time here

Just a 2-minute walk from the Great Wall ticket office. The room was clean, and the homemade fried dough sticks and steamed buns for breakfast were delicious! 😋 The owners and their family were so warm and helpful. When we called from the visitor center, the owner came to pick us up. And when we checked out, since the owners weren't home, the owner's mother even drove us back to the visitor center on her electric tricycle! 🤣 We'll definitely stay here again next time.

We were scared of large crowds at the wall, and followimg many online recommendation we found the Jinshanling section. This hotel is at the great location a short walk from the mid enterance to the wall section, the Gubeikou train station is also very reachable from the Beijingbei (North) train station. It is also quite affordable to reach the place by Didi (550 yuan from the Beijing airport). The place is clean, and the food really stands out as quite amazing, the prices are also very low, for room and food. Just tell the owner you would want a breakfast and you will be served one first thing in the morning. The ladies are also super nice and very hospitable to the foreign turists.
