It's really excellent, far exceeding my expectations. The environment is great, and it's convenient to get around. Most importantly, the owner is incredibly helpful. The stay was very comfortable, the room was spacious and even had smart technology – a lazy person's dream! The owner promptly resolved any issues and was very thoughtful, even providing small gifts during exams. It's truly unbeatable value for money and has become my top choice for hotels. The bedding was also very comfortable, and hot water was always available.

I cannot recommend this farmhouse enough! If you are visiting the Jinshanling Great Wall, staying here is an absolute must. The location is perfect, featuring a beautiful rooftop terrace where you can sit and look directly at the Great Wall in total peace. The room itself was modern, and clean, with a great AC, but set right in the middle of a charming, authentic farm. But the absolute highlight of my stay was the host family. The hospitality is unmatched. The Owner Lady of the house cooked some of the most delicious, massive, and authentic meals I’ve had in China, and she went completely out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and well-fed. The food was also unbelievably affordable. The Owner truly went above and beyond for me. When I was struggling to find a reasonably priced car back to Beijing, he spent hours late at night helping me on WeChat, making sure I wasn't overcharged by local drivers. He eventually helped me find a cheap, highly scenic train route back to the city and personally drove me to the local station. They treated a solo foreign traveler like absolute family. If you want a genuine, heartwarming, and frictionless experience at the Great Wall, book this place. 太好吃了 and 谢谢 to the amazing hosts!”

As a group of foreigners this place was great all around. They gave us great advice about visiting the great wall and we managed to go before anyone else was there. It was a rare and magical experience for a location usually absurdly crowded. They also helped us book taxis after our train was cancelled from torrential rains. The rooms are very modern, new, and nice. The restaurant onsite made home made foods. It's a 10 minute drive to the entrance of the great wall from there. It's hard to be any closer than this hotel because it's at the mouth of the park.

What can I say other than WOW, great farmhouse in a beautiful quiet setting over looking the Great Wall. Rooms were very modern, spotlessly clean with hairdryer and toiletries massive windows to look at the incredible view. The food we had was delicious good price 86 yuan including 2 big beers. We also used there taxi to get to the water town and back to the train station. They sell snacks and water at a very good price also. Book this you will and have the wall to Yourself more or less and some home cooked food and a lovely sleep Thank you wanping farmhouse.

Our stay at Shanhai Premium Guesthouse was an incredibly peaceful and rejuvenating experience! The mountain surroundings were absolutely breathtaking, with fresh crisp air that immediately washed away all our city stress. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests. The location was perfect for exploring the Wuling Mountain area, and we loved waking up to the sound of birds and seeing the misty mountain views every morning. The hiking trails nearby were well-maintained and offered stunning views of the landscape. Although it was a bit remote, that was exactly what we were looking for - a true escape from urban life. The local breakfast was delicious and featured fresh, organic ingredients from the area. We particularly enjoyed the evening stargazing, as the night sky was crystal clear away from city lights. This place is absolutely perfect for couples seeking a romantic getaway or anyone looking to reconnect with nature. We would definitely recommend this hidden gem to all our friends and family, and we plan to return again in the different seasons to experience the changing beauty of the mountains. The first time I came to Longhua, the location of the hotel was very good. The cleaning was very meticulous. The service staff was very enthusiastic. I got up early and ate a bowl of hot handmade noodles. I slept well. Give a good review.

We were scared of large crowds at the wall, and followimg many online recommendation we found the Jinshanling section. This hotel is at the great location a short walk from the mid enterance to the wall section, the Gubeikou train station is also very reachable from the Beijingbei (North) train station. It is also quite affordable to reach the place by Didi (550 yuan from the Beijing airport). The place is clean, and the food really stands out as quite amazing, the prices are also very low, for room and food. Just tell the owner you would want a breakfast and you will be served one first thing in the morning. The ladies are also super nice and very hospitable to the foreign turists.

Facilities are sufficient for our type of travel; that are trekking and Great Wall viewing. Location is excellent with easy access to different parts of the of the Great Wall. Breakfast and dinner were at the stay and the simple local cuisine of good food suited our taste buds .. Topping all is the extra mile service by the owner 崔老版 and his family. We had a beautiful and memorable time here

Amazing guesthouse and could not ask for better location to the Jinshanling Great Wall (1 minute walk away from the entrance gates). Very kind accommodating owner and staff, great dinners as well, comfortable room, and even pick up and drop off from train station. Perfect place to stay to see the wall, and the Jinshanling wall was absolutely amazing, and fairly quiet with less people. Highly recommend this place.
