Chengde Hotels with Gym

Beijing is about to get a heat stroke, so I chose a two-day and one-night grassland trip. I looked for many B&Bs (because I was with a puppy, so I couldn't talk about hotels). Finally, I chose this one. First, pets don't need cleaning fees, and second, this store is one of the few hotels with air conditioning in Datan Town! Although it's a small detail, if you go to the grassland to escape the heat in summer, it's inevitable that it will rain, and the room of the B&B will inevitably be damp. Turning on the heater in summer is a joke. At this time, the air-conditioned room will make people feel dry and cool. Although it's a small matter, the improvement in comfort can only be known by comparison. There are not many guests in the B&B, it won't be noisy, and it's very quiet at night. The location of the B&B is very close to Ma Town, about half an hour's drive from the grassland sky road. The room is very large, very new, and very clean. There is also a small courtyard outside the room. It's very comfortable to be alone in a daze, look at the mountain view, and have a little drink. It's very enjoyable to watch a movie on the huge projection. After a day of play, taking a bath in the big bathtub at night can eliminate a day's fatigue. There are also drinks, souvenirs and afternoon tea on the day of arrival. The owner and staff of the B&B are very kind and down-to-earth. The owner also recommended a free attraction, which is great! Picture 1 is the room, and the last two are the section of Tianlu closest to the B&B. I personally feel that it is much better than the section in Zhangbei, with pure beauty. I hope that I can still see this level when I go again.

Traveling solo, I chose The Landy Hotel, and it perfectly matched my aesthetic. The overall design features a simple, natural wood style with no excessive decoration. The room layout felt relaxed and comfortable, and the floor-to-ceiling window framed the garden view like a painting. The outdoor garden is meticulously maintained, with plants thoughtfully arranged and winding paths that make for a wonderfully quiet stroll, far from the hustle and bustle. The room was clean and tidy, the amenities felt high-quality, and the staff were very friendly. I felt incredibly peaceful staying here all day – it’s a great place to unwind and recharge alone. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Aranya.

This is probably a more traditional local hotel, and it offers really great value for money. I had only booked it for the first night of my trip, but on the day I checked in, I immediately extended my stay for two more nights before my return journey, right at the front desk with the lovely young lady on duty. The front desk staff are genuinely warm and kind. We traveled from Chengde to Ulan Butong, and then came back to stay here for another two days. Highly, highly recommended. I booked this hotel by accident. I thought it wouldn't be very good based on the ratings, but it exceeded my expectations. The location is near Chengde South Expressway. We found the hotel quickly after getting off the expressway. The room was large and the price was right. It is considered a relatively high-end hotel in the same price range. The area around it is very quiet, with almost no noise. It is a very nice hotel!

The hotel is excellent! The rooms are clean and tidy. Xiao Liang and Xiao Han at the front desk were incredibly warm and patient. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit the Chengde Mountain Resort!

I booked the most basic room type, and it was quite spacious. For this price point, having a bathtub is a real bonus! The amenities are also great. Coming to Beijing Valley during the summer holiday is definitely better value for money than Aranya. The hotel's location is great, and the lobby is spacious and bright with a relaxing atmosphere. The room was clean, and the bedding was changed daily, which was refreshing and comfortable. The high-definition LCD TV had clear picture quality and many channels, perfect for watching shows in the evening to unwind. The front desk staff were welcoming and efficient with check-in, always ready to answer any questions. The guest services (GSM) were attentive and proactively asked if I was settling in well; they were thoughtful and meticulous throughout my stay, making it a worry-free and reliable experience. I'll definitely choose this place again next time.

Our family stayed at this hotel in Saihanba and had a fantastic experience! A special thanks to our concierge, Qiqi, who was incredibly kind and helped us plan our sightseeing routes, taking care of all the little details. Her service was truly heartwarming. The room was clean and spacious, with beautiful grassland views right outside the window. The hotel's environment is quiet and comfortable, making it perfect for both family trips and group travel. Definitely worth coming back to!

1. The hotel and resort are separate; I stayed at the resort this time. 2. The resort is cheap, but the facilities are generally average. 3. The soundproofing in the rooms is really bad; most people bring children, and the children's noise is very clear. 4. The hot tub water in the room is okay, but safety measures need to be improved, especially the anti-slip features.

This hotel offers five-star quality at a reasonable price, and the breakfast spread is excellent. The service is good, and you can really feel their effort to improve and enhance the guest experience. However, some rooms have issues with the shower water temperature being too low and the water pressure being too weak, which falls short of a true five-star standard. If these issues are addressed and improved, I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.
