Chengde Hotels with Gym

Beijing is about to get a heat stroke, so I chose a two-day and one-night grassland trip. I looked for many B&Bs (because I was with a puppy, so I couldn't talk about hotels). Finally, I chose this one. First, pets don't need cleaning fees, and second, this store is one of the few hotels with air conditioning in Datan Town! Although it's a small detail, if you go to the grassland to escape the heat in summer, it's inevitable that it will rain, and the room of the B&B will inevitably be damp. Turning on the heater in summer is a joke. At this time, the air-conditioned room will make people feel dry and cool. Although it's a small matter, the improvement in comfort can only be known by comparison. There are not many guests in the B&B, it won't be noisy, and it's very quiet at night. The location of the B&B is very close to Ma Town, about half an hour's drive from the grassland sky road. The room is very large, very new, and very clean. There is also a small courtyard outside the room. It's very comfortable to be alone in a daze, look at the mountain view, and have a little drink. It's very enjoyable to watch a movie on the huge projection. After a day of play, taking a bath in the big bathtub at night can eliminate a day's fatigue. There are also drinks, souvenirs and afternoon tea on the day of arrival. The owner and staff of the B&B are very kind and down-to-earth. The owner also recommended a free attraction, which is great! Picture 1 is the room, and the last two are the section of Tianlu closest to the B&B. I personally feel that it is much better than the section in Zhangbei, with pure beauty. I hope that I can still see this level when I go again.

Traveling solo, I chose The Landy Hotel, and it perfectly matched my aesthetic. The overall design features a simple, natural wood style with no excessive decoration. The room layout felt relaxed and comfortable, and the floor-to-ceiling window framed the garden view like a painting. The outdoor garden is meticulously maintained, with plants thoughtfully arranged and winding paths that make for a wonderfully quiet stroll, far from the hustle and bustle. The room was clean and tidy, the amenities felt high-quality, and the staff were very friendly. I felt incredibly peaceful staying here all day – it’s a great place to unwind and recharge alone. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Aranya.

The hotel's硬件 facilities are genuinely impressive. The lobby is opulent and incredibly luxurious, and the rooms are well-equipped. However, the soft services are truly disappointing. From check-in at the front desk to breakfast, the service attitude wasn't even polite. My family of three arrived for breakfast just 5 minutes before closing, and the front desk insisted we pay immediately before entering. Couldn't they just charge it to the room card, or let us sit down and pay a little later? Also, they strictly ration Nongfu Spring water in the rooms, providing only two bottles per day. If you want more, you get a different brand of bottled water. Is this really the service for a 1.5k room? I had already chosen to extend my stay in the same room at 11 PM on the day of check-in, yet no one contacted me about renewing the room card until 6:27 PM the next day. Good service should be seamless and unobtrusive, but every little thing here made us uncomfortable. I hope the experience improves if I have a chance to visit again.

Let me start by praising the hotel's strong points. The room is very spacious, and the amenities are comprehensive. The mini-fridge is a thoughtful touch, and the lobby is beautiful. I especially want to commend the auntie at the restaurant; she was very warm and provided excellent service, a big thumbs up! However, there are some downsides: 1. The cleanliness of the hotel room needs improvement. I never ate anything in the room, but the next day when I went to pull out the chair to work, I saw it was covered in BBQ debris. 2. The smell was extremely unpleasant. As soon as I opened the door, there was an indescribable odor throughout the room. It was like this upon check-in, and even after leaving the windows open all day, the smell was still present when I returned. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for anyone sensitive to smells. The building itself is generally very good, and there's ample parking. The only drawback is that the surrounding facilities are limited, so it's more suitable for guests who are driving.

The hotel is great, especially Zihan and Xiaowei who are very polite. Xiao Jiang and Xiao Han were also wonderful. Cleanliness: Good

I chose this hotel for my trip, and my overall experience exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and well-ventilated, and the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, making for a very relaxing sleep. The entire room was meticulously cleaned, and the wash area was dry and odor-free. The front desk staff handled check-in efficiently, and they were patient in answering my questions. It's very convenient for dining and getting around, making for a very pleasant stay. I highly recommend it.

I booked the most basic room type, and it was quite spacious. For this price point, having a bathtub is a real bonus! The amenities are also great. Coming to Beijing Valley during the summer holiday is definitely better value for money than Aranya. Warming Moment - Self-serve Noodle Bar: We went late and were able to enjoy instant noodles from the buffet.

Our family stayed at this hotel in Saihanba and had a fantastic experience! A special thanks to our concierge, Qiqi, who was incredibly kind and helped us plan our sightseeing routes, taking care of all the little details. Her service was truly heartwarming. The room was clean and spacious, with beautiful grassland views right outside the window. The hotel's environment is quiet and comfortable, making it perfect for both family trips and group travel. Definitely worth coming back to!

I don’t speak Chinese, but the staff there were very friendly and helpful. From checking in to checking out, the front desk staff helped me like a personal assistant. She even scheduled a massage and taxi service. Local guests I met at the hot pools were also very nice and welcoming. This is somewhat old place, but I like places with history. Be aware of the large portion of dishes you get at the restaurant. I couldn’t finish all the dishes as a solo traveler.

This hotel offers five-star quality at a reasonable price, and the breakfast spread is excellent. The service is good, and you can really feel their effort to improve and enhance the guest experience. However, some rooms have issues with the shower water temperature being too low and the water pressure being too weak, which falls short of a true five-star standard. If these issues are addressed and improved, I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.
