Chengde Hotels with Gym

Beijing is about to get a heat stroke, so I chose a two-day and one-night grassland trip. I looked for many B&Bs (because I was with a puppy, so I couldn't talk about hotels). Finally, I chose this one. First, pets don't need cleaning fees, and second, this store is one of the few hotels with air conditioning in Datan Town! Although it's a small detail, if you go to the grassland to escape the heat in summer, it's inevitable that it will rain, and the room of the B&B will inevitably be damp. Turning on the heater in summer is a joke. At this time, the air-conditioned room will make people feel dry and cool. Although it's a small matter, the improvement in comfort can only be known by comparison. There are not many guests in the B&B, it won't be noisy, and it's very quiet at night. The location of the B&B is very close to Ma Town, about half an hour's drive from the grassland sky road. The room is very large, very new, and very clean. There is also a small courtyard outside the room. It's very comfortable to be alone in a daze, look at the mountain view, and have a little drink. It's very enjoyable to watch a movie on the huge projection. After a day of play, taking a bath in the big bathtub at night can eliminate a day's fatigue. There are also drinks, souvenirs and afternoon tea on the day of arrival. The owner and staff of the B&B are very kind and down-to-earth. The owner also recommended a free attraction, which is great! Picture 1 is the room, and the last two are the section of Tianlu closest to the B&B. I personally feel that it is much better than the section in Zhangbei, with pure beauty. I hope that I can still see this level when I go again.

Traveling solo, I chose The Landy Hotel, and it perfectly matched my aesthetic. The overall design features a simple, natural wood style with no excessive decoration. The room layout felt relaxed and comfortable, and the floor-to-ceiling window framed the garden view like a painting. The outdoor garden is meticulously maintained, with plants thoughtfully arranged and winding paths that make for a wonderfully quiet stroll, far from the hustle and bustle. The room was clean and tidy, the amenities felt high-quality, and the staff were very friendly. I felt incredibly peaceful staying here all day – it’s a great place to unwind and recharge alone. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Aranya.

Spent the weekend in Hebei, with Chengde as our first stop. We checked into the hotel a little after 1 PM, and the place was bustling with guests – apparently, there were three wedding banquets going on. When we left the hotel around noon the next day, there were another two wedding receptions happening. A local friend told me that Zhaofeng is considered the best hotel in Chengde, and hosting a wedding or any banquet there is a huge status symbol. It's not particularly close to the Summer Resort, so you'll need to take a taxi to get there.

The hotel is excellent! The rooms are clean and tidy. Xiao Liang and Xiao Han at the front desk were incredibly warm and patient. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit the Chengde Mountain Resort!

I chose this hotel for my trip, and my overall experience exceeded my expectations. The location is absolutely perfect, right next to Wanda Plaza and not far from the Mountain Resort, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. The room was spacious and elegant, with expansive city views from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The bedding was comfortable, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and all the details were well thought out. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the service was warm and professional; the front desk staff were attentive and responsive. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, and the gym and pool facilities were excellent. Free parking was a huge plus. Suitable for both business and leisure, it's definitely the top choice for a high-end hotel in Chengde!

Our family stayed at this hotel in Saihanba and had a fantastic experience! A special thanks to our concierge, Qiqi, who was incredibly kind and helped us plan our sightseeing routes, taking care of all the little details. Her service was truly heartwarming. The room was clean and spacious, with beautiful grassland views right outside the window. The hotel's environment is quiet and comfortable, making it perfect for both family trips and group travel. Definitely worth coming back to!

I don’t speak Chinese, but the staff there were very friendly and helpful. From checking in to checking out, the front desk staff helped me like a personal assistant. She even scheduled a massage and taxi service. Local guests I met at the hot pools were also very nice and welcoming. This is somewhat old place, but I like places with history. Be aware of the large portion of dishes you get at the restaurant. I couldn’t finish all the dishes as a solo traveler.

This hotel offers five-star quality at a reasonable price, and the breakfast spread is excellent. The service is good, and you can really feel their effort to improve and enhance the guest experience. However, some rooms have issues with the shower water temperature being too low and the water pressure being too weak, which falls short of a true five-star standard. If these issues are addressed and improved, I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

The room was clean and tidy, the room service was excellent, the front desk staff were welcoming and responsive, and all staff members were neatly dressed and actively helped guests solve any problems. The hotel has a European style, and the town also includes a Russian-style street. The main attraction is the Pegasus Flying Town scenic area, which features stunt car shows, bonfire parties, horseback riding, flying attractions, VR technology, and a wide variety of other programs and activities. I was overwhelmed with choices and highly recommend it!
