Amari Hotels in Bangkok

Amari Bangkok has certainly made our stay a memorable one. Great location, room deco & cleanliness, fitness n pool facilities, food & services are all praise worthy!! Though our spirits were dampened by the fact that our 85 yrs old mother fell sick on the 2nd day of our 12-days trip due to the haze n heat there, we received outstanding service and warm assistance from the entire hotel team. Our special thanks to Guest Relation Managers Ms Wai & Mr Kwan as well as the In-house Medical Team who sent caring medical staff (Manager & Nurse) to attend to my mum’s medical needs before we decide to send her to Priya Thai One Hospital for further assessment. We merely feedback to the hotel staff over a casual conversation our purpose for the trip was a birthday celebration for mum, shortly a surprise birthday cake was sent to our room and followed by a beautiful pot of flower with a get-well card. Ms Wai’s outstanding guest relation effort didn’t just stop there, she came to our table at breakfast on the following day, thoughtfully have the kitchen prepared a bowl of freshly cooked fish porridge for my mum citing her poor appetite and also informed us that she had arranged for a free upgrade to one of our rooms, a Deluxe Twin Room w/ one extra bed to a Premier Twin Room, enabling our entire family to conveniently stay on the same floor level (just a-room away), so that could allow us to keep a close watch on mum’s condition, frankly, that was above all, the most wonderful and warm gesture we have ever received from Amari Bangkok, truly appreciate her effort. Service staff at Amaya Restaurant were most commendable, our special thanks to the manager Ms Liza and her friendly team members - Kriang, Nat, Fon, Pooky, Ryan, Kane, Kim and Faii and many more who had rendered their outstanding service. The team was attentive and careful with our needs to ensure that our breakfast couldn’t be more enjoyable, bravo to their good command of English too!!! House-keeping staff were extremely efficient and patient. Last but not least, Ms Priang at the hotel reception/ lift area had made a very good impression on us for her warm and genuine greetings, not forgetting the teams helming the Front Desk, Concierge & Hotel Entrance area - thank you everyone!! Amari Bangkok will always be our top choice from now.

Amari Don Muang Airport Hotel is the oldest airport hotel of Thailand. It is of walking distance to Terminal 1 of Don Mueang Airport, the original Bangkok Airport. The room's bed is huge but there are not enough power points. I wish the hotel management can install a power point next to the study desk. The swimming pool area is the worst place to be despite I was given a discount coupon for drinks and beverages. This is because mosquitoes are prevalent at the swimming pool area. I advise guests going to the swimming pool area where the hotel bar is located to wear long-sleeved shirts. I wonder how the Caucasian guests can stand up with the mosquitoes flying there. The bar staff said the management staff cannot do anything with the mosquito problem. The complimentary breakfast consists of many fruits located at the centre of the Zeppelin Restaurant, the hotel's restaurant. The dining atmosphere is livelier than Siam Mandarina Hotel. Vegetarian food are also served by Zeppelin. The hotel is currently under renovation until 28 February 2025. This is the third time that I have stayed in this hotel in order to connect to my first flight from Don Mueang to Vientiane on 12 February 2025. The first time when I stayed in Amari Don Mueang Airport Hotel dates back to 2019 before the covid epidemic broke out in *****. That was in preparation for my second trip to Chiang Mai.
