Room condition: I stayed in a deluxe king-size room, and the space was quite comfortable. The bedding was neatly arranged, and the lighting created a pleasant atmosphere, making me feel relaxed when returning to the hotel at night.
Pool: Sufficient for use, open from what seems to be 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM, good for a quick swim and workout in the morning or evening.
Gym: Equipped with basic strength training machines, treadmills, and exercise bikes.
Service: Check-in at the front desk was smooth, and I received the classic DoubleTree welcome cookies upon arrival.
Location: Excellent. In the evening, you can walk to CentralWorld, Siam Center, and Siam Square in about 20-30 minutes.

Michie HoMy stay at Courtyard Bangkok Sukhumvit 20 was amazing. All the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Their warm hospitality made me feel right at home throughout my stay.
I also frequently ordered food through Grab, and it was very convenient that the hotel provides a designated table for delivery drivers to drop off orders. This thoughtful arrangement made the process smooth and hassle-free.
Another great advantage is the location. There are plenty of massage shops nearby, and EmSphere is only a 5–10 minute walk away.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely choose to stay at Courtyard Sukhumvit 20 again on my next trip to Bangkok. Looking forward to coming back!

Guest UserBest hotel I ever stayed in bangkok. High quality for the price, you can book closed eyes! Only if you want to walk around its not the best, but we dont cares when the swimming pool is so beautiful we just want to stay on the rooftop.
There is a restaurant and the food is very nice, not much choices thought. Only bad point is that there is no massage or spa around (there is a massage street shop nearby but not sure its good...)

Holiday Inn Bangkok: Perfect Solo Weekend Retreat Near Emsphere
I recently spent a relaxed long weekend (just over two nights) solo at Holiday Inn Bangkok, right next to Emsphere mall. As an NRI zipping between Hong Kong and Bangkok for work, I needed a hassle-free spot with easy access to shopping, dining, and BTS— this nailed it.
Location (5/5): Smack in Sukhumvit's heart, it's a 1-min walk to Emsphere's trendy shops, cinemas, and food scene. BTS Phrom Phong is 5 mins away, making airport runs and city jaunts effortless. No taxi drama in Bangkok traffic!
Room & Comfort (4.5/5): My superior room was spotless, modern, and spacious for solo use— king bed was plush, blackout curtains ensured deep sleep despite city buzz. Huge bathroom with rain shower and amenities felt luxurious. Minor nitpick: AC was a tad noisy at night, but earplugs fixed it. Free Wi-Fi was speedy for my work calls.
Service & Facilities (4/5): Staff were warm and efficient—check-in was instant, and they upgraded my view gratis. Gym and pool on the 8th floor offered stunning skyline vistas; poolside was quiet for solo unwinding. Breakfast buffet was solid (fresh Thai/Western options), but could use more variety for repeat stays.
Value (4.5/5): At ~THB 4,500/night (booked via app), it's a steal for the location and IHG perks. Quiet for a city hotel, ideal for solo travelers avoiding party vibes.
Overall: 4.5/5. Highly recommend for short business-leisure trips. Will return!

Anonymous UserThe room was excellent. It was very soundproof from the outside, quiet, and perfect for a peaceful night's sleep. The in-room amenities were also great. The hotel's location is good, and there's a shuttle service every 30 minutes that takes you to the main road.

Guest UserBefore my trip, I read a lot of reviews and thought there would be many issues, but honestly, there were no major problems. The location, price, and facilities were all suitable, making for a very good experience. The high-floor view was also amazing!

WeiweiyixiaohahahaThis is our top choice for an overnight layover. They offer a free shuttle service, and it's only a few kilometers from the airport, about a 10-minute drive. However, you might have to wait a bit for the shuttle once you arrive at the airport, which could extend the travel time. The room isn't very big, and the bathroom is just okay, quite small. The breakfast selection is limited, and items aren't refilled promptly. If you walk to the end of the alley, there's a market with all sorts of things for sale, plus a 7-Eleven, so you can find whatever you need. The front desk service was alright; not bad, but nothing exceptional either. For a similar price, hotels in China usually offer much better facilities. But these are all minor things we can overlook, as it's just a transit stay after all.

Kaung - the travellerTGreat Location, Good Value, and a Nice Pool
I recently stayed at Furama Silom Bangkok and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel’s biggest strengths are its excellent location, reasonable pricing, and rooftop pool with fantastic city views.
The property is conveniently located in the Silom area, making it easy to access restaurants, street food, shopping, public transportation, and nightlife. For travelers looking for a central base in Bangkok without spending too much, it offers very good value for money.
The rooftop pool was one of the highlights of my stay. It provides a relaxing atmosphere and beautiful views of the Bangkok skyline, especially during sunset. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, offering good value for the price paid.
The staff were generally polite and helpful when needed, although the service was fairly standard rather than exceptional. Check-in and daily interactions were smooth, but there was nothing particularly memorable about the service experience.
That said, the hotel would benefit from some renovations and maintenance updates. Certain areas of the property appear dated, and some room facilities could be improved to meet modern expectations. While everything was functional, refreshing the interiors would significantly enhance the overall guest experience.
Overall, Furama Silom remains a solid choice for travelers seeking a well-located hotel with good facilities at a fair price. With some improvements and modernization, it could be an even better place to stay in Bangkok.

TirinThe hotel is conveniently located near the railway station with easy access to the airport and BTS MRT station. There are also a 7-Eleven, local market, and restaurants nearby. The room was affordable, but since the hotel is quite old, cleanliness could be improved. It would also be better if they provided a hair dryer, slippers, a bedside lamp, and complimentary coffee. They do provide a kettle, coffee cups, and bottled water. Overall, it’s a good budget hotel, but I hope they continue to improve their facilities.

My family’ go-to hotel when in Bangkok. We first stayed here in year 2021 and it’s been here ever since. Friendly front desk, near to BTS station, walking distance to 7-11 and near the new mall.
