"This place is extremely budget-friendly—about half the price of other options. It offers a private room, which is a major plus over shared dorms if you value privacy and undisturbed sleep. The receptionist was wonderfully friendly and helpful. The location is deep in a local neighborhood, perfect for an authentic, ”underground” Bangkok experience and discovering hidden food spots. Important Notes: It's very raw and basic. There are only cold showers, no hairdryer, and you take out your own trash. It's not for those who need things spotless. For the price, it's an interesting no-frills experience for adventurous, low-maintenance solo travelers wanting their own space in a real local area."

"First off, to all the 'princes and princesses' leaving negative reviews: this is a hostel that costs mere tens of yuan a night. Don't compare it to the five-star hotels you usually stay in, where you expect top-notch service and facilities. Why don't you dare give those five-star places a bad review when they don't even have a bathtub for you to splash around in? If there are reasonable shortcomings, mention them so the owner can gradually improve. Don't just casually leave a bad review. This second location is actually pretty good. You can chill every day. The beds are clean, and that's what matters. Also, be aware that some people with sticky fingers might stay here, so keep an eye on your belongings. You can't blame the hostel for that."

"The only real criticism I have is finding the location. There are no signs or staff to guide you to the hotel, which is on the 9th floor of the S&B building. However, aside from the location, everything else was great and offered good value for money. All the staff, though not Thai, spoke both Thai and English. They were helpful with directions and always greeted me with a smile whenever I entered or left. Overall, I was impressed. It might not be a luxurious place, but it certainly felt like good value for what I paid."
