Go to Silom's Chinese contacts! Everyone, please give me money for this youth hostel. China Address Book does not cheat China Address Book! The most cost-effective bed room in the center of Bangkok, far better than mybed and BRB Youth Hostel. It is backed by Silom Soi 4, ”adjacent” to GREEN, prime massage, and bordered by BTS and MRT transportation. The guy at the front desk is very handsome, and the staff can speak Chinese, so communication is stress-free. I chatted with the boss and learned that it was newly opened, so the sheets, bedspreads and decorations are all new. The bed looked especially clean, and they even provided a white bath towel. The few days we stayed there happened to be weekends, and the hotel was fully booked every day. Some pleasant stories happened there 🤪. It was very rewarding, and I will come again next time.

I booked this hotel for a short stay while I waited for my flight to Japan. The hostel had a café, but most of the customers seemed to be enjoying smoking ****, creating a laid-back atmosphere. Everyone appeared to be having their own peaceful time. The hostel itself was fantastic, offering all the basic facilities, and the rooms were very clean. Overall, it was a great experience at the hostel.

I don’t know why I feel cheated by the hostel. The price was double expensive than usual rate. The people. Speak to in the hotel pleated very cunning such as abusing my courtesy of sharing social recreation items but included theft of my consumables. A group of people in the hotel on 2nd of March sneaky enjoyed my hospitality without basic decency of saying thank you despite them wasting more than 500THB of my items. On the 3rd of March, someone Exerted aggression and fear to me directly and squeeze my head and neck area. This has led me to feel that I don’t feel safe but also with pain on neck and nerves.

It feels like a foreigner has found his home. Highly recommended... If you go to Thailand, you must go to his place. It is close to 711. You can go to the fifth floor of Flight 21 for meals. It is cheap. I regret going there earlier and staying a few more days. There is no harm without comparison. The Chinese are much better than those in India and Nepal.

GGuest User 2024.04.03
I have to say that accommodation in Bangkok is really expensive. For 100 RMB you can only stay in a bed room in a youth hostel. The good thing is that the rooms are separated, and there is no awkward situation like in domestic youth hostels where everyone is so open to each other. The hygiene is also good, but the room is really small, or to be more precise, it is a cabin. There is no place to put the luggage. The front desk initially gave me a room under the air-conditioning vent. The air-conditioning noise was huge. I had no choice but to go to the front desk in the middle of the night in my slippers to change the room. The noise was a little smaller, but it was still very noisy. It was strange that I took the initiative to ask for another empty room next to it with obviously less noise, but the front desk refused to give it to me. I don't know why. It was really difficult to fall asleep with the noise of the air-conditioning, which caused me to feel dizzy when I woke up the next day. The front desk didn't understand English or Chinese, so I had to use my mobile phone to translate Thai for him in order to communicate with each other. It was a really bad experience.

AAnonymous UserI absolutely love Tiang Capsule! It's consistently one of my top picks for hostels, especially when traveling solo. The capsules are incredibly clean and provide a perfect balance of privacy and social interaction. The cleanliness is top-notch, which is a major plus for me. The staff does a fantastic job keeping everything spotless. I also appreciate the social atmosphere. The common areas are inviting and make it easy to meet other travelers. The only minor drawbacks are the limited space within the capsules and the potential for some noise from other guests. However, these are minor inconveniences compared to the overall comfort and convenience of the hostel. Highly recommended for solo travelers!”

WWenckebachStayed here the 2nd time around and it was still a very pleasant stay. Definitely I will come back again. I prefer this hotel because the area is quiet, it is new and clean and it is close to major tourist attractions, the Wat Po and the Grand Palace. At first I booked the deluxe double room because I was alone however I found the room too small. So I transferred to a bigger room after 3 days, to a family room as it was the only available room during my stay. The family room however was way too big for 1 person. Anyhow, I will give an honest review here to help succeeding guests decide which room to choose. The deluxe double room is small in my assessment even for a single person. This type of room is just basically for sleeping and resting but not for relaxing. No place to hang clothes and with only a very tiny space for luggage. The toilet and bath though is very spacious.[ My next room was the family room which is perfect for couples, group of 3 to 4 persons and for a family of 4 members. I love the family room, it has separate toilet and bath, the powder room is spacious, there is place to hang clothes, a space to keep the luggages and it has 2 king size beds. In the past, we also tried the triple deluxe room and it is as good as the family room, the space is enough for a couple or for a group of 3 persons. The hotel is walkable to these tourist attractions mentioned above if you don't mind walking in the heat. Bangkok is warm all year round. There are two 7-11stores closeby. If you just explore and walk around this hotel, there are many restos and cafes to go to. You can ask for directions from the hotel reception. I passed by a fruit market while riding a taxi to Wat Po. Taking a taxi to the hotel from Wat Po area costs around 100 to 200 Baht depending on the time of the day. The rates are higher during rush hour and drivers charge more when it is raining. The reason they always say is because it is always too difficult to get into the area of Wat Po as it is always congested. There are many tuktuks in Wat Po area but tuktuks are expensive. By foot, it may take around 20 to 30 minutes depending on your pace and how good you are at navigating your way. By car it will take 7 to 10 minutes to get to Wat Po and Grand Palace.

SSilvia GiacobI booked a 6-person room for three nights, and it was a great stay. The room was very clean, equipped with both a fan and air conditioning, and had a private bathroom with a toilet and shower. It was on the fourth floor, but there’s a luggage elevator, which is a big plus. On the same floor, there’s also an additional shared shower, toilet, and two sinks, while the lower floors have two more showers and toilets. They provide a towel, and the showers are stocked with shampoo and body wash. A hairdryer is also available. Breakfast is free and served on the ground floor in the morning. It includes a daily changing plate (e.g., scrambled eggs with bread or eggs, bread, and sausage), a portion of fruit, and a small buffet with cereal, jam, juice, milk, and hot water for tea, coffee, or hot chocolate. At check-in, you need to leave a 100 THB deposit for the key card, which is required to access the upper floors and enter the room. On the second floor, there’s a common area with a fridge, a water dispenser (the cold water is really cold—amazing!), a microwave, and some plates and cutlery. There are also two types of cookies available. From this floor onward, you need to remove your shoes and walk barefoot. I would definitely stay here again! Very clean, great value for money, and just a few minutes’ walk from Phaya Thai station—perfect for connecting to Suvarnabhumi Airport.

GGuest UserThe room was clean and tidy, very comfortable, amazing. It was also equipped with a kitchen, microwave, washing machine, and refrigerator. The service was patient and thoughtful. A lot of snacks were sent, the welcome fruit was super sweet, and the juice was delicious. The Thai restaurant downstairs tasted great and cost-effective, especially the roast pork and noodles, which were so delicious, better than the mixed restaurant opposite the parking lot. The price was great value for money, and I would go there again next time. It was just that the location was a little difficult to find. There was a sign in the alley next to the restaurant, and then go up to the second floor. The service staff didn't speak Chinese very well, and had to use translation software to communicate. Everyone gestured to understand, which was very interesting. In addition, the washing machine upstairs kept washing clothes in the middle of the night, which was a little affected by sleeping next to the kitchen, but the room outside was very quiet and did not affect it.

JJo YiKinnon has a homely feeling to it, and I recommend it for digital nomads who plan to stay longer periods because: 1. They have an in-house kitchen, and most items on their menu is only 60 THB. There’s also a fridge for all guests to use, as long as you label your food accordingly. It’s also very common for the guests here to order food delivery. 2. There are multiple working spaces here. The one shown in my picture is the “common” working area, but I believe the room with the grey room in the same picture leads to a private room (I guess you can take meetings here, idk how soundproofed it is). There’s also a TV room upstairs if you want a more relaxed environment. 3. I love their bathrooms, because there is a huge wall shelf with many compartments, so most people just leave their toiletries there. I really dislike having to carry my toiletries to the toilet every time I shower, so this was a huge bonus! It’s also very spacious compared to the bathrooms in other hostels. The cubicles are comfortably wide as well, with sufficient hooks and even a rack to place your things! One negative thing to comment is that there is a rather huge gap between the edge of the bed and the wall (refer to picture). If you’re someone who moves around a lot when you’re sleeping, you might accidentally push your stuff and it might fall down to the bed below lol. It didn’t happen to me but just be careful where you place your stuff and you’ll be fine :) Location-wise, there’s a 7Eleven, a massage parlour, and plenty of eateries within a few minutes walk. Based on Google Maps there should be both MRT and BTS stations within 10-15 minutes walk, but I did not take either of them during my stay here so I cannot comment on whether they are easy to find.

SSilvia GiacobVery well-kept hotel, even from the outside. The location is convenient for visiting the main temples, which are within walking distance, even if it is far from the BTS/MRT stations. Quick and attentive check-in, with the girl at the reception friendly and helpful. I booked a triple room for one night, consisting of a bed and a sofa bed. Unfortunately, the sofa bed was sagging and uncomfortable: I would replace it or consider the room only for two people. The bathroom is small, windowless and basic. The shower worked intermittently: the water would start after a couple of minutes, then stop and start again, making a regular shower difficult. The sink is also very small. The room does not justify the price paid, especially because of the sofa bed. Without it, it would have been ok! Also, there is no station to refill water bottles, only a small dispenser near the reception. On a positive note: there is always someone at the reception, the staff is fantastic and the hotel is very clean!

GGuest UserI recently spent three days and two nights in Bangkok, and I can confidently say this hostel was the perfect place for female solo travelers. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to explore Bangkok! The hostel is ideally situated on Khao San Road, a vibrant area teeming with local delicacies, souvenir shops, and nightlife entertainment. It's also within walking distance to major attractions like The Grand Palace, The National Gallery, and The National Museum of Bangkok. This central location made it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The hostel itself is clean and beautifully decorated, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I felt secure in my bedroom, which featured a modern card security system for access. This added layer of safety was reassuring for a solo traveler. One of the standout aspects of my stay was the host, Summer, who speaks excellent English. Her ability to communicate effectively was a tremendous help, especially when I had questions about directions or local recommendations. In my opinion, this is the best hostel for solo travelers in Bangkok. The combination of a great location, a clean and secure environment, and helpful staff makes it an ideal choice for anyone visiting the city. I can't recommend it enough!

GGuest UserThe landlady is very kind. The double bed room on the 3rd floor is quite spacious. There is only one light. No deposit is required. The air conditioner is very cool. The environment is clean. It is a 10-minute walk to Mrt Wat Mangkon (blue line). The sign at the door is small and has OYO written in red letters. It is soundproof. Bo Hui heard next door, no toilet paper was provided, take a Bolt taxi from here to Bts Asok station THB134, the snacks in Chinatown are really expensive.
